Photos Not Showing Up on 32GB IPhone 4
My 32gb IPhone 4 has been experiencing some problems. Initially, I linked a folder of pictures to my iphone and everything synced up completely. Now it does not work at all. It shows up that 43 pictures are located on my iphone, but on the actual phone, there are no pictures. I am using the Windows Vista operator, I have tried deleting the photo cache, but the problem is still not solved. I even have tried disconnecting and re syncing several times.
Can anyone help?

Have either of you restarted your iPhones?
Resyncing, killing the Photos app in the multitasking bar or restarting your iPhone usually resolves these issues.
If none of these work, then in iTunes, deselect the option sync photos, sync your iPhone, unplug your iPhone, restart, plug back in, and then sync your photos back onto the device.

I just set up iCloud for my new iPhone 4S and iPad2. I have a PC running Windows 7. I have downloaded the iCloud for Windows 7 software. In experimenting with iCloud, I see the pictures that I took on my iPad and iPhone have been streamed to my PC, no problems there; however, I have been trying to upload only one picture (.jpg format) from my PC to iCloud and it does not show up on my iPhone or my iPad. I moved the picture into the upload folder in Photo Stream manually from my PC. I have read and reread the directions several times and I cannot see that I am missing any steps, but the picture does not show up. Has anyone else had this problem and been successful in overcoming it?

I had the same problem with my iPad. I did what the post above says and it fixed it.
Before I did that my photos weren't showing up in the photo stream but in my FB app if I choose to upload a pic from photo stream they were there. Weird.

I got my iPhone 4s screen fixed, now in my Photos it shows nothing, although in my memory usage it shows 10.5gb of photos, thats 2000 photos not showing up. What happened?! Where did all my photos go?!
WOOHOO!!! i finaly fixed the problem. Here is what to do:
Chances are if you did the same thing as me you either have
A) No album names at all for ALL your songs in your library
or
B) Have the same name for every album for ALL your songs in your library.
Here is how to fix it (yah it will take a little work but its worth getting your iPod functioning properly).
Unless you dont want to have to go and actualy set al lthe album names for every song here is what you can do:
Go through to iTunes and arange your songs by Artist name. Click the top song for your first artist, hold Shift and click the last song for that same artist (to multi select all the songs for the artist) go into get info and check the Album box. Copy the name of the artist to the Album box and hit ok.
Now when u update your ipod and go into ur Artists section the actual Artist name should show up instead of the song names.
For some reason having the same album name for all your songs messes up the organization of the iPod.

Photo events do not show correctly in my iPhone. I have 21 events in my iPhoto but they appear in many different groups in my iPhone.

My Photo Not Showing Up in Messages
My photo does not show beside my texts in Messages on my Mac. Only a shadow of a generic person in a rectangle is there. I can see the photos of others who write me, though. I have my photo in Contacts and it does show up in Mail, but not in Messages. My photo also shows up in IMessage on the iPad.

Your Pic is set if you have Buddy list set up/logged in.
Enable the Bonjour account if you do not have Jabber, AIM or Yahoo IDs set up in Messages.
Click on the current Buddy Pic.
You may find it has pulled the Pic from the My Card in the Contacts app (Formerly the Address Book)
In turn this may be picking up on the System Preferences > User and Groups > your account Login pic.
That is to say when you set up the (Mac User) Account it asked you to create/chose a pic from the Login Screen.
Later the process of setting up an Accounts asked for details that create the Contacts/Address Book Card and the Login in pic is dragged across.
AS you then get to set up Messages (Or iChat) then the My Card pic is pulled through.
All three spots can be changed independently of each other.
Some of the Recent Items can be from either of the others.
This is my Buddy list pic and th "Recents" I have.
The Zebra and head in "teeth" pics are from some testing I did with Pics in the Contacts > My Card options rather than Messages.
Finally once you have a pic linked to Messages then it also show up at your end for the Chat window for iMessages (as well as for you in AIM or Jabber)
NOTE
In AIM and Jabber (Or Yahoo) your Pic is Broadcast and is what you Buddy sees next to your Name (They can override this though)
In iMessages though your pic is not sent and your Buddy's Contacts app supplies whatever pic they have for you. (As yours does for them)

Please read the title; itunes match has removed my playlists on itunes and iphone and the songs that are supposedly 'matched' on itunes are not showing up on my iphone.
Any Really annoyed about thisiTunes Match does not have the ability to remove local files.
The service operates by comparing the selected iTunes Library with the iTunes Store content and 'matching' or 'uploading' - it is very straightforward a 'match' provides equivalent access to iTunes Store content as a recognised 'purchase'; upload simply copies a 256k AAC variant into the cloud. There are no elements of this activity that can erase the local library content.
Would suggest you explore possible alternative causes of file loss. Given the pattern described of selective deletion, leaving many Songs intact - would suggest making at least 2 secure offline Song file backups and starting the library again from a fresh install of iTunes once a thorough sweep of the system has been completed for virus. It is also worth assessing the physical security of the system - who has access & with what privileges.
To access Songs from the cloud, you would have to manually delete the Song from the library or open an empty library - so even when accessing content, iTunes Match provides no local deletion capability. -
Songs not showing up on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1 on iOS 5.0.1?
I have about one third of my music library not showing up on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1, even though it is ticked and everything, on iTunes it says that it should have been synced...
For example, I have 'only sync ticked songs and videos to my iPhone/iPad' enabled in iTunes, and all songs by Katy Perry are ticked, but only about 4 show up? the songs that didnt show up are there if I look for them through albums, but they don't show up under the artist 'Katy Perry'.
Basically, iTunes says the songs are synced, but they aren't on the iDevice.
Also, I don't have match enabled, is it something to do with iCloud taking this music 'off' my iDevice because I didn't download it from the iTunes Store?

I guess I'm confused. Are you trying to sync with match? or is match off?
If you are trying to sync with match on then go to settings>music> and make sure that the show all music toggle is turned on.
If you are trying to sync with match off and are trying to put files onto your phone without usiing match then uncheck the music tab under your phones information on your computer and then let it sync and take everything off. Then recheck the music box under the music tab and go to your summary page and make sure that the box that says sync only checked music is selected and resync. Sometimes you have to take everything off before you can get it to resync and put stuff back on.
Again, if you talking about what you see with match turned ON, on your ios device then make sure that the toggle for show all music is turned on.
You cannot sync with your computer and itunes match at the same time. You have to do one or the other.

However, after updating to iOS 7, and seeing every song I have ever purchased, I noticed that the iPhone can indeed show whether songs are explicit or not (by marking them with a letter 'E').
Therefore I am just wondering why I can see whether songs are explicit on my Mac, yet not on my iPhone. I have tried removing the songs from my iTunes Library, syncing to remove them from my phone, re-adding them to my Library, and then re-syncing to put them back onto my phone, and the explicit tag still does not show up.
Please can you help me resolve this.
ThanksIf you are syncing your contacts from your PC with iCloud, they are not transferred to your phone using iTunes. They are synced to your phone using iCloud, either over wifi or your cellular data network.
First go to icloud.com with your computer browser, sign into your account and open Contacts there to confirm that your contacts appear. If they do, go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign into your account and turn Contact on. Assuming your phone is either connected to wifi or your cellular data network, the contacts should then download from iCloud to your phone. -

iphone 5s - ios 7If you buy them as a Ringtone, then Itunes should automatically put them in Tones. It is a huge hassle and takes time most of us don't have to waste, when we purchased them as Tones and Apple told me they would automatically show up in Tones if purchased from Itunes Store. NOT! And we shouldn't have to google to find the answer. They should make that clear on Itunes store. Very disappoiinted in the Itunes upgrades that have caused so many problems.

Help - I have hotmail emails in my inbox on my computer but they will not show up on my iPhone. I am using the "Windows Live Hotmail" option in the settings. The specific emails are not marked as junk, still in my inbox, they are addressed to me, they span about 2 weeks with some as recent as 3 days ago and are all from 3 specific people regarding my sons baseball team. I have tried deleting my account and setting it back up. I've added the email addresses to my contacts to see if that helped. I didn't have this issue when I used the generic pop 3 type of setup. I moved to the Windows Live Hotmail setup so when I delete an email from my iphone it also deletes it from the server. This is all working perfectly. I don't actually log into the server very often and almost missed this email. Thanks!

I think I may have confused you and I apologize. But you are also confusing me now.
If you were not using restrictions before, then that is why the Allowed Content for Movies in in accessible. You can only access that if you had set a restrictions Passcode. If you do not have restrictions set, then it is a non issue and don't worry about that suggestion.
Were you actively using restrictions on the iPad? If you weren't then you don't have to enable it now. That will not do any good. -
