Photos not uploading.

Installed 10.10.3, launched Photos.  Turned on iCloud Photo Library.
It's not uploading.  I have photos in iCloud, but I have many more photos on my Mac that are not in iCloud, and they're simply not uploading.
Photos Preferences says it's "Updating..." but nothing is uploading.
Is there any way to figure out what's going on here?

I have similar problems - 42,000 pictures to upload to iCloud (my laptop iPhoto library). Strictly though (at least for me) it's not that it's NOT uploading, it's just horrendously slow. I've had it running for the past 36 hours and its barely made a dent. At a rough estimate I'd say it's uploading around 1 photo a minute - so at this pace I 'might' be finished in a month of solid uploading.
I really hope this gets fixed. I had this problem with the iPhoto beta too and had to abandon it. The iCloud photo library feature is about the only apple update of late that I've been really hoping for - but in it's current release it's just unusable.

  • List/Report of employees whose photos not uploaded

    Hi Friends
We have uploaded employee photos in SAP, but few employee photos are missing.  Do we have some option to find list of employees whose photos not uploaded.
    Please help
    Thanks and regards
    Surya

    Hi Surya,
You may have to write a custom report using FM "HR_IMAGE_EXISTS".
-> For each employee check if image exist using FM "HR_IMAGE_EXISTS"
-> If the FM does not return any output then that employee does not have any photo uploaded.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks!

  • HT6413 Why are my photos not uploaded to my photo stream on my PC?

Running Win7 on my PC.  Photos taken on Ipad or Iphone 5 used to upload automatically.  Updated to Iphone 6 and they no longer do so.  Have checked all settings and they appear to be in order.  Any reason they should not upload to the photo stream?

I found the problem.  AS it turns out, when I created my iCloud account I eneded up creating a NEW ID.  The process is a little bit confusing and it is apparently easy to get one ID on the iCloud on your iMac and another on your iPhone.  This is what I had done.  It was a simple matter of signing out of iCloud on the Mac and then signing back in wiht my original Apple ID (the one on the iPhone) once I signed backin, pictures starte appearing in the Photo Stream.  Easypeasy!

Have you the iPad User Guide? If not, download it from the link under manuals at the start of this forum an tke time to give it a cursory read at the very least.

  • Revel Mac New Photos Not Uploading

I'm a Revel Premium user. I currently have 668 photos that are not uploading to the Revel cloud from my Mac. The images appear in the previews, but the sync status screen shows 668 photos to upload and it is not changing even after several hours. This has never happened before and I have many thousands of images that have uploaded successfully in the past.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Photos not uploading to iCloud Photo Library from Photos beta

I have been trying for a couple of weeks now to upload photos from my Mac to the iCloud Photo Library using the new Photos beta. I have about 2,800 photos and the upload process just stalls with about 2,000 photos left to upload.
I've tried turning the upload on and off and rebuilding the library but nothing works. A couple of times when restarting the upload process I have received this error message:
Referenced files will not upload to iCloud Photo Library
Select referenced files in your library and choose “Consolidate” from the File menu to copy the original files into the library.
So I gather I'm supposed to select a few files and consolidate them, but I have no idea what the "referenced" files are.  Might anyone know?
    thanks!

  • HT201077 Photos not uploading

Since October, my phone is not uploading my pictures to my Photo Stream on my computer when I am connected to wifi at home.  I have checked and everything on the phone and computer is turned on and giving permissions.  What am I missing?

Welcome to the Apple Community macrackalackin.
        1.    Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
        2.    Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
        3.    Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

  • Photos not uploading to iCloud Photo Library

My issue is with iCloud Photo Library on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.3). Works fine for a few days, then gets stuck and won't upload anything to iCloud, which in turn won't show up in the Photos app on my Mac (OS X 10.3.3). Currently it's been stuck on "4 Photos to Upload" for a over a day now. This happened last week as well and I had to shut off iCloud Photo Library and turn back on. It eventually worked, but that was a long painful process because I have 80GB of photos.
It's not a wifi issue either, and I've rebooted the phone as well. I've been on 2 separate very fast internet connections and only used half the space on my 200 GB iCloud plan. I've edited a few photos with Snapseed and Camera+ using extensions – could it be a corrupt photo using a 3rd party app causing the problem?
When iCloud Photo Library works, it's great, but this is the 2nd time in 2 weeks to hang during upload. I wish there was a way to refresh it or force it to upload without turning the whole thing off and on. Anyone else having this issue?

Same here - no upload button for me, too. OS X Lion, Safari 6.1.6. Trying not to take it as personal.

  • Photos not uploading to iphoto

I uploaded a few pictures from my camera on december 24th and on the 25th it was no longer uploading pictures from my camera.
I have not changed any setting on my camera at all and do not understand why this is not working.
When I connect my camera, iphoto opens, but will not upload.
Can you please send me some ideas on why this is happening?
    Thanks,
    Laura

Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
    - Did it ever work properly?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.

  • Photos not uploading to iCloud photo library from PC

Hopefully I am not the only person with this problem, but it's driving me round the bend.
iCloud installed on PC and default folder Pictures\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream contains c1,800 photos
When I got to Favourites\iCloud Photos\My Photostream there are only 5 photos
When I try to manually add photos in the explorer window Favourites\iCloud Photos\My Photostream it seams to crash or just not update
When I visit iCloud.com there are only 489 photos and as others have described there is no upload button in the browser interface.
So in summary it doesn't upload from PC and I cant upload from the browser despite all pictures sitting in the right folder the syncing doesn't appear to work.
    Please, Please help!! :-)

  • Photos not uploaded to Revel from PSE12

So far I had no problems uploading Photos to Revel. I have a free account and the Revel Status says that I can still upload 49 photos.
    My Data:
My PSE12 is on WIN7. I uploaded my complete PSE12 catalogue.
    Problem:
Last week I added 30 photos. They still do not appear in Revel, though they are marked in PSE as Revel. When right clicking on those photos "Remove from Revel" (actually the text was in German and I am translating for thei discussion) is greyed out.
Over the last weeks I found duplicate photos in my catalog and currently I am deleting these duplicates from the catalog. My mobile device shows the according decrease in the number of photos in my Revel library.
The Revel-Agent status still shows about 88 to 107 pending updates to the Revel library. The number is higher when I am actively deleting photos, but it never (over the last week) goes below about 90 pending updates, though I restarted the computer daily.
Is there a lock in the library? How can I get around this problem?

    Viashali,
thanks for looking into this. I was already at PSE 12.1.

How can we start a connect session, find a date/time?
    Thanks, Joachim

  • TS2634 photos not uploading on instagram or facebook

My photos won't upload to Instagram or Facebook. All systems are up to date and they are turned on in Settings. I don't know why it's not working.... help!

    Memory is getting small
By memory do you mean free disk space? How much free space do you have? It's strongly recommended that a minimum of 10GB free space be maintained (20 GB if you use iDVD a lot) for optimal system and application performance.
By searching for thumbnails can you explain further? Do you get a message?

  • Facebook photos not uploading to wall

Has anybody tried to upload any pictures through facebook lately? I've noticed that the pictures go into the photo album but do not post to the Facebook wall.

Same problem here - it's pretty widespread apparently. I've noticed other folk's photos doing the same thing. It just started yesterday for me.

  • Amazon photos not uploading

With new version of Firefox, I am unable to upload photos from my computer into my Amazon seller account. I just get a message that says "can't upload, try again."Amazon says it is a browser problem. I am able to do this using Internet Explorer. Using 33.1 Unable to allow the troubleshooting information, by the way (connection failure),

It is possible that anti-virus software is blocking the upload.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
    See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
