Photos on iPad shown from oldest to newest without possibility to change it

I have photos on my iPhoto and iPhone shown chronologically from newer to older, so I can always see the newest photo on the TOP, but I don't know why on the iPad the opposite thing happens. I have them shown with the oldest ones on TOP.
Is there any way to change it?

thanks but exactly how do I do this. I tried setting the new macair up using migration assistant but for some reason not everything has come through. I bought a thunderbolt cable to improve the transfer rate.
Now my question is how do I transfer the iTunes folder. I have authorised the new macair for iTunes and am within the 5 computer limit.

In the current "Podcast" app is there a way to play ALL episodes of ALL podcasts chronologically from oldest to newest like there was in the "Unplayed Episodes" list of the original "Podcast" app?

In the original version of the Podcasts app there was an "Unplayed Episodes" list that listed ALL the episodes of ALL the podcasts I had loaded on to my device, and I could listen to them in chronological order from oldest to newest.
In the new Podcasts update I see a list called "All Unplayed" but when I select a podcast from there it plays all the episode of JUST THAT podcast, without switching between podcasts to whatever episode on my device is chronologically next.
Is there a way to listen to my podcasts chronologically across Podcast series and I'm just missing it or did Apple screw the pooch on this one?

Please, please, please... I wonder if the solution of deleting the Podcast App and using the Music App again would work. My favorite sports radio station splits up their podcasts by DJ (logical), but I want to listen to all podcasts from one day from all DJs. No longer automatic :(

You cannot do that from your phone. You can do that from your computer.

Problem: I would like to have a Podcast Playlist sort podcast episodes from oldest to newest broadcast date; I have done so on my P.C. based ITunes player and have synced same to my IPOD NANO; however, when I do so the podcasts on my IPOD NANO are not sorted from oldest to newest; rather, from newest to oldest.

You can try changing the the password for your iCloud account that may work.
Otherwise you will have to get him to sign out of Messages by go to Settings>Messages>Send and receive and tap your Apple ID and then tap signout.

How I change the save image dialog box view from oldest to newest first as the default?

My save image dialog box has the oldest file in the folder in the upper left position (using list). I want to change it to the newest file shown first. It used to be that way, but now it showing oldest first. I haven't found any guidance on defaults for this box. Thanks.

Leave it to Apple. When I first got the phone, that's the way they were configured. Now that they've flipped around, there's now way to change it!

Not receiving photos on ipad 3 from iphone 4s

Just wondering if someone has the same problem of not being able to receive photos from Photostream from iphone to the ipad. Mine was working but has notwstopped. Tried resetting and other stuff. but still not working.

It does seem at times the iPhone loses it's "Registration" of the iPhone Number to the iMessages Server.
Get the User to Check their iPhone > Settings > Messages.
The app should be ON.
The Apple ID should be present.
The Send and Receive should then list both the iPhone Number and Apple ID as ticked items (the phone number will be greyed out)
I have had the iPhone number appear greyed out like it should be but become Unticked (Inactive).
The the greyed out state means you cannot turn it On or Off manually this does seem strange.
The process if it is "un-registered" is to remove the Apple ID.
Place the iPhone in Airplane Mode to break with the servers.
After a few minutes take it out of Airplane Mode and go back to the Messages Settings.
The iPhone Number should be verifying.
Once that is complete re-add the Apple ID and then choose the "Start Conversations From" option.
If the Number is also missing from the Mac version Restart the Mac version and Accept the pop ups.

Downloading photos to iPad library from gmail

I am using iPad 2nd gen. I am using the Gmail app for my email. I want to copy photos from emails received on Gmail to my photo library. How do I do that? When I click and hold on a picture I get a 'Copy' option. But there doesn't seem to be any way to 'Save' or 'Share' pictures.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Home Sharing: Music App on iPhone and iPad skips from track to track without playing.

Home Sharing is working from my iMac, OSX 10.9.3, iTunes 11.2.2(3) to my AppleTV, 6.1.1. I can see my iTunes library and play/view music, video and photos. No problems.
I have problems when trying to do the same on my iPhone and iPad.
Using the Music app on my iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.1 I frequently have to re-connect to my iTunes library. However nothing will play in any mode. It just skips from one tune to the next right through to the end of the list without playing any of them.
Using the Music app on my iPad 2, iOS 7.1.1 connecting to my iTunes library is more reliable. Single tunes play through, albums & playlists play through all tunes in sequence. However if I select shuffle then it just skips from one tune to the next right through to the end of the list without playing any of them.
I have only tried sharing to my iPhone/iPad in the last few days so I have no experience of doing this on previous versions.

Music on iPad does not even give me the Sharing option.
Music on iPhone offers Sharing and does indeed connect to my iTunes library. It has all my albums on display. Whoopee you think, is ths a breakthrough? Unfortunately, NO. Play any album and it just skips from one tune to the next right through to the end of the list without playing any of them.
Please bear in mind that no infrastructure has changed during these posts. Same network, hardware and software.
Conclusion:
Home Sharing is useless except between iMac and AppleTV.
Is there anyone out there in Apple land who can convince me otherwise?

How do I view photos on my Mac from a SD card without using iPhoto?

I just want to view photos (not make changes) and possibly download some to my harddrive on my Mac (don't want to buy iPhoto). How can I do this?

Here's what you do: First, click out of iPhoto, close the program. Then, go to Finder, File, New Finder Window. Then, do that exact same thing again. You will end up with two Finder windows on your screen. That's a good thing.
Resize both those windows so that they fit on the screen in a way that you are comfortable with. Then you can grab the images or whole files from one window, and drag them into another file on the other window. Voila, the computer will move the files.
For easier organization, you might want to first create a new file for your photos, if they are all of a specific subject. On the destination screen, click on File, New Folder. A new folder will appear in whatever folder you are already in. Type in whatever you want to name it. Then move the pictures into it.
Much more intuitive for all of us old Fortran programmers who migrated from Windows.

I've just got a? ZMP and I'm very happy with it. However is it possible to charge it from the PC's USB port without the player going into "dock" mode, i.e. unable to access functions, listen to songs, etc. Jock in a Frock

Make sure you had closed all application that could be interacting with the player. Application such as MediaSource, WMP0, Zen MicroPhoto Media Explorer,etc. Also, turn off the Player Detector option in MediaSource.

The last iOS update took away my ability to play a music group's albums in order from oldest to newest. For some reason Apple decided I needed to listen from newest to oldest.
Has that been fixed?

Unfortunately, that section of the page is pulled in from Facebook, and it seems Facebook is making no effort to remember your preference, even from article to article. I don't think there's any Firefox setting that can help with this, but maybe someone has created an add-on for it or documented some other workaround?
Note: I was not logged into Facebook while testing, so I can't say for sure that it wouldn't remember your preference if you were logged in.

It depends upon the capabilities of your printer. If you have an HP printer with a photo tray then the Photo app will print to whatever size you load in to that tray.
