I want to add location to pictures taken with an "independent" camera, Canon, as I used to in iPhoto.
Is this possible ?

That's correct - Photos supports geotagging, but only allows viewing of that information. Once an image is in Photos, geotags cannot be added, deleted, or edited. This post suggests some apps for editing geotags outside of the Photos app. As you mentioned, you can edit the geotags in iPhoto, export to the finder and then import to Photos. I would guess (and hope!) we'll see this added in an update, and hopefully soon!

You can use the Settings in the slideshow to Show Captions, either the Description filed be display, the Title field or both.
If you create the slideshow in iDVD from still photos from iPhoto you can add the Description and/or Title via the settings in iDVD.
Since iDVD adds both automatically the user must go thru the slideshow and remove those items not wanted.

When you connect your iPhone for the first time after taking a picture, Windows or Mac will pull up a dialog asking what you would like to do with "Digital Camera" or whatever the USB recognized question is saved as.
With Windows, it will have "Camera and Picture Wizard" which will copy all pictures and save to where you specify or it will ask if you want to print them. **
You can also change the default selection somehow to change to a new application if you installed such as Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop. Note that after you check the dialog box "Remember my choice" whatever the wording is, you have to figure out where to change your choice afterwards.
With Mac, it has iLife to copy the photos for printing.
An alternative is to save the photos, then burn them to CD, and take it to CVS or a One Hour Photo shop to do it.
** The iPhone will still retain it's captured stills and re-ask the same question again and again until you delete the photographs on the camera application.

This has been answered. The sync is one way - computer to ipad. You can e-mail them to yourself.

This is the design of the product. It will sycn with one computer. Sycning to anotehr will erase hte current content. The ipad simply mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced.

With ios 7 how can I add videos from a shared photostream to my camera roll?

When I am viewing a shared photostream that I subscribe to I am able to select photos and add them to my camera roll (essentially saving someone's shared photos to my device). Now that you can add videos to shared photostreams with ios 7 I was hoping to be able to do the same with videos. However, when I view a shared vieo and attempt to save it to my camera roll it is not an option. Any ideas on how to do this?

To save photos/video from the photo stream to your camera roll, select it, click the share button, and select "save to camera roll". It will remain in the photo stream as well, until you delete it.

How can I get videos I've taken with iPhone 5 to sync to iPad mini?

I have several videos I've taken with my iPhone 5 and are currently on iTunes on my MBP. When I sync my iPad mini, it tells me the videos can't be sync'd because the format isn't supported on the mini. How in **** do I get this to work?

The same way you would put them on any other iOS device.
Connect the device to the computer.
Launch iTunes.
Select the content desired to sync to the device.
Sync.

Because I have large amount of PDF files, I use File Sharing.
I want to add the entire folders and organize them as they are.
But, I can only select file by file basis. Although I can make a multiple choice, I can organize them in folders.

As far as I know you can't create folder in file sharing. However, the app GoodReader (which reads PDFs and other files) allows creating folders on the iPad and those folders show in file sharing. However, you can't access items in the folder nor add items to a folder. Same applies to some other apps which allow folder creation.

I have BB 8520 Curve Smartphone. I have installed apps like facebook and gmail on it. I found that it can show the StringItem with appearance mode HYPERLINK and BUTTON. User can directly go to it and press the optical touch button, which directly can open next form of an application without opening the command menu.
In the same way, I want StringItems with appearance mode HYPERLINK in my midlet, should invoke the command directly without opening the menu with various commands, when I press the optical touch button of the device. But actually, it opens the menu when I click on the StringItem.
On my form, I am showing 3 StringItems with appearance mode HYPERLINK, as
1. Quiz 1
2. Quiz 2
3. Quiz 3
User should be able to go to respective forms of an application directly by clicking these links [they are NOT actual web links]. When my cursor is on any of these links, and when I click the optical mouse button of the device, it is opening the menu with command "open selected quiz".

I had the same problem to realize a touchscreen button. I also tried to use a StringItem to show a Button or Hyperlink on the display (for my Nokia 5230 touchscreen phone).
So I create a StringItem with type Item.Button or Item.HYPERLINK and a command:

Command buttonCommand = new Command("Action", Command.SCREEN, 1); The thing is, when I use button.addCommand(buttonCommand); then the command action is not directly executed when I click on that button. I have to click on the command in the menu to do that.
But when I use button.setDefaultCommand(buttonCommand); then the action is directly executed when I click on the button. That works on my Nokia and you should try that on your BB.
So the code would be like this (or the same for Item.HYPERLINK):

There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate. You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

I'm working on a Dutch website in the HealthVault Environment. I got difficulties in creating and updating a careplan with care tasks. Most likely it's due to lack of knowledge...
Following code works fine:

It creates a plan called [test]. But I don't know how to create a plan with one or more tasks in it: the tasks property is read only.
