Photos on my iPad Mini that I can't delete
Bought a new iPad mini and moved a bunch of photos from my Macbook onto it. I have some pictures that I'd like to remove but when I click on the ones that I want to remove the "Delete" button won't let me delete them. How do I remove them?
Suggest you use Photo Manager Pro.
You can import all photos from Camera Roll to Photo Manager Pro.
When import is completed, sync iPad with empty folder to remove all the photos in Camera Roll.

I have thousands of email messages in my ipad mailbox that I can't delete en masse. I can delete a few at a time, but this would take forever???
Contact htem? No, I wouldn't think so, I'm not familier with fuse.net. Most ISPs adn email providers have web pages that can be used to acces your account settings and email. That may provide a means of selecting multiple emails and deleting them (but probably not 22,000 at a time).

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing - so you will need to re-connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you have iTunes 11 and you don't have the sidebar showing then you can enable it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), and on the right-hand side use the Photos tab to de-select the folders that you don't want and then sync (if you want to remove all synced photos then try selecting and syncing an empty folder).

I am facing problem while I connect to my iPad mini with MacBook Pro , it only sync photo from its taken by and from it camera roll only. It doesn't sync all the images... Like my all albums. All photos in library....To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
You should also be able to copy albums that you've created directly on the iPad via apps such as Simple Transfer (though I haven't tried it) -
When restoring my old iPad2 (32G) via itunes on my iMac, thousands of pictures/videos from the last 2 years were downloaded along with apps and mail. The new mini is the 16G version and I am eating up memory with all these photos and videos. Selecting the photos in the iPad mini wont let me put them into trash.
How can I get rid of all these other albums and revert to just storing photos in my camera roll?You have to connect the iPad to the Mac and deselect the photos in the Photos tab of iTunes and follow that with a sync in order to remove the photos.
Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Select your iPad from Devices in the upper right or in the left sidebar of iTunes, if the sidebar is enabled.
Click on the Photos tab in the iTunes window on the right.
Uncheck all of the albums and videos that you want to remove under the Sync Photos from heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
If you want to remove all photos, uncheck the "Sync Photos From" heading and then click on Apply. If you can't see the sidebar, go to View>Show sidebar from the iTunes menu at the top. -
I have a Ipad mini that is set up on another Apple ID that is different than mine. I wish to know if it is possible for me to downlaod a movie onto it without having to remove everything off it.
I had the same question as was asked here, and I see that if I turn off my Wi-Fi on my iPad I can no longer access the iTunes Extras. However, if the extras are streaming-based, why is the file size of movies with Extras so much larger than those without? Any other HD movie with a similar running time is between 1.5 and 2.5GB, all with Extras are between 3.5 and 5GB. The problem isn't the Extras, its the lack of space on my iPad.

Just got new iPad mini and I can only get 140 pictutes in My Photo Stream while in my other devices I have 1000 photos in My Photo Stream. How do I sync to have all photos in My Photo Stream on this new iPad mini?

I see different photos in My Photo Stream on each of my devices.
Your device will keep up to 1000 photos, even if they are older than 30 days. Photos older than 30 days are removed from the iCloud server, so all devices may not have the same photos, depending on when you enabled My Photo Stream.
You may want to sync the older photos through iTunes to get them on your new iPad mini.

Take it to an Apple store and ask. All they can do is say no. They may ask for a purchase receipt to make sure it's not stolen.

No. You can move them to computer and from there to the SD card or you can upload them to a Cloud service like Dropbox.

I have an iPad mini that will not respond and is non functional. It continues to intermittently try to automatically restart, access home page without success. It will not accept normal charge. I have tried to manually restart, reset and have been unsuccessful. It will not allow a Recover attempt via iTunes as well. Do you have any suggestions before I consider a replacement? Thanks.

I've managed to get back to Pages 4.3 on my iMac and delete the downgrade Pages 5, which makes a total mess of photo-rich documents prepared with Facing Pages (most of mine), but how to I get back to the old version of Pages on my iPad so that I can work on sections away from home. At least on my old PC, Word maintained compatability with old versions. Beginning to regret having switched.

What is really irritating is that Apple give a big hurray about what they have added as "new" in Pages 5 (most of it pretty useless) without telling you of the myriad things they have deleted. If they had shown the list your gave the link to, I doubt may regular users would risked going to Mavericks with its auto upgrade. My partner got the message in time and is sticking with the earlier operating systems and Pages on Mac and iPad. Lucky girl.
I have found a way to use my iPad to add chapters written while on the move to reports on my iMac Pages 4.3. If I write it on the new Pages on the iMac (don't seem to be able to revert there), the send the report as an email in WORD format (not Pages) and download it in the Text Editor, then cut and paste into the story on the iMac. Hardly elegant but it works. -
