Photos on my ipad mini.

I have managed to transfer photos from my PC to my ipad mini (can't remember how) but now I am unable to remove them. I thought I'd found the answer in a previous thread but when I look at itunes left side drop down menu I don't see a "photo tag" only Music, Films, Tv Programs, Books, Apps and Home Sharing, so it is not possible to remove them and resync via the PC.What am I doing wrong and how do I remove them?

Hello, your reply is the thread I read and tried earlier, the problem I have is that I don't have a photo tab.
I have read the below statement from the link supplied but on my ipad their is no photo tab in the resulting window.
To delete synced photos and videos
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.

  • Problem with photo download to iPad mini

I am using the Apple adapter to download photos to my iPad mini using the SD card adaptor and for some reason not all for checked photos available to be downloaded. There seems to no pattern as to which photos it choses not to download

If you go to Settings->Cellular Data you can turn off the cellular functionality of your iPad there.

How can I transfer all my photos from my Ipad Mini to my new MacBook Pro
I am facing problem while I connect to my iPad mini with MacBook Pro , it only sync photo from its taken by and from it camera roll only. It doesn't sync all the images... Like my all albums. All photos in library....

To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
You should also be able to copy albums that you've created directly on the iPad via apps such as Simple Transfer (though I haven't tried it)

How to I take photos off my ipad mini if I don't have iPhoto or any other photo sharing sight? I would like to take them and put the photos onto a cd

You need to get the photos synced to a computer to archive/protect them.  Once there, do whatever can be done by the computer (you haven't indicated what brand computer or even if you have one) and burn to CD.

  • How do I delete photos from my iPad mini?

How do I delete photos from my iPad mini?

Photos that were taken with the iPad (or any photos in the camera roll) can be deleted right on the iPad. Tap the trash can icon in the top right corner if you are viewing the photo in full screen, or if you are viewing as thumbnails - tap the arrow in the upper right corner - tap the photos that you want to delete and then tap - Delete.
Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced -  and then re-syncing.

How do I delete photos from my iPad Mini?

How did they get onto the iPad ? Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly in the iPad's Photos app - either via the trashcan icon in the bottom right if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the Select button top rightn in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from a computer can't be deleted directly in the Photos app - you need to move/remove/de-select them from where they were synced from on your computer and re-sync.

No. You can move them to computer and from there to the SD card or you can upload them to a Cloud service like Dropbox.

  • How do I find and undelete a photo in my iPad mini?

I accidentally deleted a home video tonight and I need to retrieve it. I have iTunes on my desktop, Windows 7 - 64 bit. The photo was on a mini iPad.
Any idea on what I can do to recover it? Thanks!

Open the file with Preview, type Command + i to bring up the Info pane and it's color mode and profile will be listed as shown here:
To change the color mode to CMYK you'll need a 3rd party image editor like Photoshotp or GraphicConverter to do it.  Why do you need CMYK?

  • Is there a way to save a photo I found on the Internet to my photos on my iPad mini? It only lets me save to my homepage, which I don't want to do. Please help!

Is there a way to save a photo I found on the Internet to my camera roll photos? Here is my dilemma, I control a company's Facebook page and like posting cool photos, however because the business is just one of my pages I cannot simply post it to Facebook. On my laptop I normally do save as and choose from photos to upload, but it seems as though I cannot do that on my iPad mini.
I am also a brand new apple user.

To save an image while in a browser like Safari tap and hold on the image until a Save Image choice appears. Tapping on Save Image will put the image in your Camera Roll.

  • Need to find a new app to use for a photo journal on iPad mini

Now that iPhoto doesn't work in OS8 on my iPad mini, I need a new way to post a simple photo journal with text online, with photo editing capablisities. Any suggestions for a good app for that?

Google+ has pretty decent photo editing, nice interface, good controls over sharing.

  • Photos app on iPad mini (retina) won't import photos

On a Win 7 (SP1) with all updates I downloaded photos from 2 iPhones (4S) and a Canon point & shoot digital camera. A week ago I purchased the SD card camera adapter for my iPad mini w/retina display. I put the SD from the Canon into the adapter and as expected the Photo app opened and I was able to download 59 photos to the iPad. Today it doesn't seem to work the same way. In the process of troubleshooting this I copied one photo each from the 2 iPhones, the Canon camera and even from the iPad; a total of 4 jpg files. When I insert the SD card into the card reader which is plugged into the iPad the Photos app launches as expected, in the Albums view. But, none of the photos on the SD card are imported. All of these files can be read just fine with Windows Photo Viewer. All of the involved devices are up to current rev.
Any bright ideas?? Some friends are coming over and my wife has said we WILL be showing photos on the iPad. HEEEELLLLLP ME!
    Thanks,
    Wayne

As I mentioned ("a total of 4 jpg files") they are jpg files. And, yes of course IOS devices support jpg.

  • Photo Album in iPad mini back up query

I had synced few iPhoto albums through iTunes in my Mac to my iPad mini. When I was cleaning up the hard disk in the Mac by mistake I deleted the iPhoto albums. Though they are still in the iPad mini as I have not synced my iPad mini with iTunes after the hard disk clean up of the Mac,hence when I sync next time the iPad mini with iTunes they would get deleted by default as these albums no longer exist in the Mac. Is there are way to salvage these albums which are existing in the iPad mini? I use iCloud but do not back up Photos there are they are large files and use up the iCloud space hence I back up all the photos to my mac. Now as I face this peculiar situation any one giving a suggestion to troubleshoot this issue will be appreciated.

Backing up with iCloud would not backup synced photos anyway. iCloud only works photos that you take with the iPad.
There are third party WiFi apps that will allow you to transfer the photos back to the Mac. You download the app to both devices and then you can send photos and videos to and from each device.
I use this one. There are others available in the App Store.
