Photos on my iPhone 6 don't show in "Photos" Photo Stream.
Photos taken with the iPhone, are not added to the Photostream on the Mac. After the update to "Photos" no new Photos were added. I use only a 20GB / year contract, but it worked fine with iPhoto.
Not sure about the missing photos from the Photo Stream section of 'Recent', however to stop photos populating the events, turn off Automatic Import (iPhoto Preferences > Photo Stream)

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Check that the calendars you are adding events to is an iCloud calendar (tap the calendar button top left of your calendar), only iCloud calendars will sync.
Also ensure that calendar syncing is enabled on all devices in the iCloud settings. -
How do I delete photo albums from my IPhone that don't show up in Itunes?
I have an IMac recently upgraded to OSX 10.9. My Iphone is a 4S running 7.0.4. I know how to manage songs and photos using ITunes, but somehow my entire photo library has been synched to my IPhone. The odd thing is the photos don't show up when I run the Preview Application (one way to remove photos from the IPhone). Only the Camera Roll photos show up there. And in ITunes I do not have any albums checked to synch. I have no idea how the albums got onto my phone, and no idea how to remove them.
In ITunes, I make sure no photo albums are selected, and I choose "synch," but they just won't remove from the Iphone. When I look under "Settings" "General" on my Iphone sometimes it shows over 8,000 photos and sometimes 2,000 photos. But the albums never are removed. Another strange thing is that in ITunes "Photos" at the bottom where you see the colored visuals of what applications are using space "Other" consumes more than half my space.

that can sometimes happen, when trying to update the software failed. Then partially downloaded updates will take up a lot of space. Photos synced to iDevices can only be removed by syncing again.
If syncing again with just one small album with a single photo selected will not remove the synced albums, back up the iPhone to iTunes and restore the device to factory settings:

Restoring should get rid of the "other" and the synced albums. -
When I take pictures with my iPad they go to my iPhone but when I take pictures with my iPhone they don't go to my iPad. How can I get the pictures I take with my iPhone to my iPad?
Check the following:
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and make sure the slider is set to the ON position.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, make sure the slider is set to ON, and that your device is connected to a wireless network.
Ensure that Camera app is closed on the device where you took the photo. Photo Stream will not upload photos from an iOS device until the Camera app is closed.
Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%. -
I have imported some Cds, they play fine on the computer. When i sleect them to go on my iphone they never show up, this whole icloud set up for music is really annoying. i wish itunes woudl go back to the way things were, a simple click on a song/album/artist and boom, theyre on your ipod. now you have to finish a maze, get a masters degree, and then solve three riddles before you even can import something from a recently imported CD.
Have you tried deleting the songs from Settings?
Settings -> General -> Usage -> Manage Storage (not the iCloud link!) -> Music and then click Edit to enable you to be able to delete. -
My iPad mini and iPhone 4s don't show airplay button since last iOS upgrade
I have an airport express connected to a stereo system and I used to play music with airplay from iTunes in either device or even my computer. Now the button disappeared. How do I get it back.
Yes, of course... I figured that wiht my iphone and now that I was trying to use the ipad I forgot it. Thanks for reminding me. It's so counter intuitive based on previous paradigm. All the outdated discussions are still popping up on help search and send you on a wild goose chase. Very frustrating.

Old Photo Stream photos don't show up on my new iPhone
My old iPhone only had 16GB and was running out of space, so I turned Photo Stream off on it. However, I have Photo Stream enabled on my Mac, and there are 500+ photos in the Photo Stream album there. I just bought a 64GB iPhone 4S last night, so I enabled Photo Stream on it. However, nothing shows up in it on the iPhone, even when I'm on WiFi. To verify that Photo Stream was even working, I took a picture this morning on the iPhone - it shows up in the Camera Roll and Photo Stream on the iPhone, and it shows up on my Mac. So, my Mac says that there are 504 photos in my Photo Stream, but the iPhone says there's only 1. I verified that my iPhone has more than 20% battery, Photo Stream is enabled, and I am on WiFi.
How can I get the rest of my Photo Stream on my iPhone?Answered my own question. Net: iPhoto was lying to me. All the photos it said were in my Photo Stream actually were not. On my Mac, System Preferences -> iCloud, I unchecked Photo Stream, then signed out of iCloud. It asked me whether I wanted it to keep or delete my contacts and other things from the Mac - I told it to delete them. iPhoto then showed me that the Photo Stream was empty, and asked if I wanted to turn it on. Instead, I logged back into iCloud on the System Preferences panel. Photo Stream was still unchecked, but I went back to iPhoto and now chose the option to turn on Photo Stream there. After a minute, I saw only the one photo I took yesterday. I dragged a bunch of photos from my "Photos" library to the Photo Stream, and after a few minutes, they started showing up on my iPhone.
I had spent an hour on the phone with Apple Tech Support before this - talked first to iPhone support, then they transferred me to iApp support when they somehow figured out that I only had one photo on iCloud. The iPhoto person told me that there was essentially no way for them to do that, and that it looked like an iPhone problem, then transferred me to a "supervisor" who sounded like she was from iPhone support again. She had me reboot the phone, and wanted me to reset it completely, but when I balked at losing all my passwords, she told me she had to consult with other people and would call me back in 15 minutes, but sent me her contact info just in case. In the meantime, I figured it out myself. -
Iphone and ipad don't show up in left column of new iTunes
I recently installed the new iTunes version.
I don't understand how to "manually manage music and videos". How do I copy a file of music or an ap from iTunes to the iPhone or iPad? They don't show up now in the left hand column that lists the playlists. I don't see how to drag something to the device.
Both the iPad and the iPhone appear in the upper right corner of the iTunes screen. I can click there and see the summary of memory use and options on the device. I can also see both of them as disk drives in "my computer." I can drag photos from the folder that shows up there onto my computer.They don't show up in the left sidebar or you don't see the left sidebar? Press Ctrl+S

New iPhone 4 won't show imported photos in camera roll
Recently upgraded the wife from her old 3G to the iPhone 4. She wanted to get her photos from her 3G onto her 4. Transferred the photos from the 3G onto my Mac using iPhoto and then synced the 4 with that library. The photos transferred over to the 4 no problem, we can even view them if we change the wallpaper settings. However, they don't show up in camera roll. Is there another way to transfer photos from one iphone to another and be able to view them in camera roll on the iPhone being transferred to?
Try basic troubleshooting of resetting or restarting the device.
If those do not work, re-sync the device with iTunes. -

Somehow when I take pics the go into my photo stream and not my camera roll. first issue
When I hook up to itunes on my Windows 7 computer only the camera roll shows up.
I don't know where to fix what file the pics go into and I don't know how to get pics from the stream onto the camera roll or some other file.
The same thing happens on my Iphone too so I'm sure it's pilot error. There's a lot of I don't know's in this question

I signed on to iCloud, but it only shows the icons for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find Phone, Numbers, Pages and Keynotes. Where's everything else ?

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

Can anyone tell me why my PC doesn't automatically update with my photos. I' m pretty sure I have all the right setting on. When I go to iPhoto's there's nothing there. I have my photo stream folder with pictures I have had to transfer in. The photos don't show on my PC and my recently acquired iPad. Only on the original iPhone device.
This behavior is normal. Since photos in anything other than the camera roll had to come from your computer, you can not sync them from the phone to the computer. In addition, the photos on the phone are not stored at their original resolution, but are optimized for the display of the phone.
You eill either need to restore from the backup you made of your computer before you re-formatted it, or you will need to invest in 3rd party software to extract the low res photos from the phone. -
Photo stream shows constant downloading on iPhone 6.
When going to photos on the iPhone 6, at the bottom of the screen it has been showing "downloading" since last Friday. It has not synced my photo stream from 2 weeks ago I took on my old iPhone. the MBP has them on it. The old iPhone shows them in photo stream also. And the iPad has them on it. The iPhone 6 had downloaded some of them, but there are blank spaces between some of the photos, when I click on a blank space it says "loading" but never does. Any ideas on what I am missing? thanks!

IOS 8 iPad showing wrong iPhone photo stream
Just upgraded to iOS8 on my iPad, have not yet on iPhone. I have three questions:
1) My correct apple ID email shows in settings under iCloud, however my Photos app is showing my husband's Photo Stream from his iPhone, which has a different Apple ID than mine. It is not showing my iPhone's Photo Stream. How can this be and how do I correct it? We have verified that the iCloud Apple ID settings are correct on all devices.
2) I am afraid to upgrade my iPhone to iOS8 because I do not want to completely lose my Photo Stream, since my iPad switched to accessing the wrong Photo Stream. Will that happen as well?
3) I would like to use iCloud Photos Library (Beta) but when I hit the switch I get this message: "Photos synced from iTunes will be removed. Syncing photos via iTunes is not supported." What photos is it referring to? How do I avoid losing those?If you don't see the AirPlay icon in Control Center:
1. Turn off router, Apple TV and iPad
2. Turn on router and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process
3. Turn on Apple TV and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process
