How do I remove the photos from my locked home screen?
I don't understand the question. What exactly do you mean?
I'm just taking a wild guess here ...If you are running a slide show (picture frame) from the locked screen, just tap one of the photos and then slide to unlock. The slide show will end and you will bring up the home screen.

If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.

Sorry, there is no way to extract this wallpaper. Your best option is to take a screen shot & that will save to your camera roll.

Dark spots appear in transitioning lock/home screen
When you guys unlock your iphone 5s screen using your fingerprint, do you see a really fast black spots on the top half of screen? Like during the transition between the lock screen and the home screen - it lasts about 0.5 second. The spots are not from water damage since I just got my phone 20 days ago and it hasn't touched water yet. This problem appeared after I updated to iOS version 7.1.1
I changed my background to a different color and now the pixels are white.Settings --> Wallpaper --> (select whichever image or photo you want to use) --> Set, choose Lock Screen, Home Screen, or Both

My iPhone 4S is not accepting my pin code. Siri is telling me the home screen is locked. Not sure how it happened, can only assume I hit the wrong key or key combinations at some point while using it this afternoon. Any suggestions? Far from home and my iTunes software is on another computer.
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

IPhone 6 Plus lock home screen only in portrait?
Hey, I wonder if there is a way to lock the home screen only to make it stay in portrait but everything still goes to landscape in the apps?
The portrait lock locks everything and I don't want that, I only want to disable the rotation in homescreen.I want the same thing. But if you don't mind text and icons being a little bigger, I think you can turn on the zoom setting under display & brighteness, I think that will stop the home screen from rotating without locking everything else.

Try this:
1. Close iTunes.
2. Connect your iPhone to your computer and then launch iTunes.
3. Turn your iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone).
4. Then, hold down the sleep/wake button and home button together for EXACTLY 10 SECONDS, then release the sleep/wake button.
5. Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected. When you are in DFU mode your iPhone screen will be completely black. Remember that if you see the restore logo, iTunes logo, or any message on the iPhone screen, you are not in DFU mode but standard Recovery Mode.
6. Hit the OK message that should popup to restore your phone. Restore as "New". -

If you have a passcode to the screen lock that you've forgotten, restore the iPod from the computer to which the iPod is synced. For information and instructions, see:

I don't have the Photo app on my home screen. Where do I find this? I think this is what I must use to view photos from my photo stream?
My photo icon on icloud.com did not appear until I went to my device (ipad in my case) and went to settings...Photos and Camera and toggle on iCloud Photo and Library (Beta) then refresh the icloud.com page.

Two days ago all my text messages became scrambled. I get notified when a new message appears on my locked home screen, but when I open them up, they disappear until I answer the thread. Unfortunately, I can't read the entire message when it is on the locked home screen. When I reply, other texts are mixed in under the person's thread I am trying to answer. I deleted all old texts in hope that this would resolve itself, but it became worse! I have not changed any setting. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!
Same thing is happening to me whethere the texts are received on the imessage or other text message apps. The message is showing on the lock screen halfway and when I try to pull it it is not here. This is happening since IOS 7. Is there still a glitch??

Home screen notifications gone after unlock
Once I unlock my phone the notifications that were on the locked home screen disappear. Sometimes there are to many to remember what was there on the locked screen. Is there any place, such as a log where I can review them?
On Home screen, swipe from the top down to reveal the Notification Centre.

When setting photo as lock screen/home screen wallpaper, quality is reduced
When setting a photo as the wallpaper for my lock screen/home screen the photo quality is dramatically reduced. This appears to be an issue since updating to iOS 8, as I have not changed my home screen wallpaper yet since updating, and when setting the same photo as my lock screen now, there is a noticeable difference. This only seems to be a problem when using landscape photo. Anyone else had this problem?

This is apparently a bug in iOS 7. Take a look at the posts to the right under "More Like This". Several users have come up with creative workarounds for this. Hopefully it will be fixed soon in an upcoming release!

try moisturising your finger a bit if the skin is too dry it can give problems
