Photos/Pictures viewd in Safari
Hey all,
I was just wondering if there is anyway of saving photos/pictures that you view in Safari to the iPhone so that you can use these as wallpaper? It seems silly to have to use a PC to download the picture and then synch to your iPhone when all the facilities are on the one device.

My photostream in windows 7 PC does not shows any pic. when i click on slide show it start showing me slide shows of pic but when i try to copy files i cant do as no photo is viewd in list mode. This problem has arised since IOS is updated.I reinstalled my icloud and checked if icloud sharing is ON. I can see pic in my photo stream in PC only in slide show mode. Hi all. I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues. Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem. …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive. Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab. Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
Open the Users folder.
Open your user folder
Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco. The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”. Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear. Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?

I have an iPhone 3GS with FW 3.1.3 and Windows XP operating system and everytime I try and sync lately, I get the wrong photos/pictures that come up with podcasts and videos.
I have 2 videos on my iPhone and in iTunes it shows the correct picture under TV shows, I also have 30 podcasts from the same source and the photo shown under podcasts in iTunes is correct but when I sync, 20 of them have album art from somewhere else. I have tried numerous syncs, have tried to uninstall iTunes 9 and reinstall it but it never seems to work properly.
I also have a movie that the same problem occurs to when I sync.
Any suggestions, thank you very much.
DJI have had the same problem with my 3GS and Windows 7. The wrong cover art sync happens haphazardly and changes.

How can I take pictures of my Safari screen?
I am needing to send pictures of my Safari screen to my employer to resolve some other issues. How do I take pictures of the various screens that I need to bring up and then send the pictures off to my employer?

RalphYou would use the OS X built-in screen shot facility.
To do it with Safari, press command-shift-4 and then hit space bar and the cursor will change to a camera icon. Hover over Safari (the window will turn blue) and then click. You'll get a screen shot on your desktop. You can drag the screen shot to Mail and email it.
Aperture need not be involved in this at all. -

You iPhoto Library belongs in your Pictures folder.
Performance tip: Keep the Desktop clutter-free (empty, if possible)
Mac OS X's Desktop is the de facto location for downloaded files, and for many users, in-progress works that will either be organized later or deleted altogether. The desktop can also be gluttonous, however, becoming a catch-all for files that linger indefinitely.
Unfortunately - aside from the effect of disarray it creates - keeping dozens or hundreds of files on the Desktop can significantly degrade performance. Not necessarily because the system is sluggish with regard to rendering the icons on the desktop and storing them in memory persistently (which may be true in some cases), but more likely because keeping an excessive number of items on the Desktop can cause the windowserver process to generate reams of logfiles, which obviously draws resources away from other system tasks. Each of your icons on your desktop is stored as a window in the window server, not as an alias. The more you have stored, the more strain it puts on the window server. Check your desktop for unnecessary icons and clear them out.
Keeping as few items as possible on the Desktop can prove a surprisingly effective performance boon. Even creating a single folder on your Desktop and placing all current and future clutter inside, then logging out and back in can provide an immediately noticeable speed boost, particularly for the Finder.
And it is why Apple invented 'Stacks' for Leopard. -

You cannot attach them in a mail.
But, you can do this.
1. Go to the document.
2. Tap on share button.
3. There should be an option "Mail"
4. Tap on it and attach.
Note:
1. If you are checking your mail in browswer - this does not work.
2. You cannot attach it to the mail you are currently composing. -
Why can I not print attachments from gmail on my ipad mini, it will print photos or anything from safari?
For Gmail attachments, if they are PDF files (as well as many other formats) when you are viewing them on the iPad in Safari there is an option to "Open in iBooks" just below the tab you have open (at the top of the page).
From iBooks you can print them to a wireless printer easily.

Desktop display of a succession of photos/pictures
When I set up my new iMac G5's display, I made it center a succession of photos that it shows randomly, changing every 5 seconds, per the available options. Recently, though, I had to (reluctantly) create additional accounts on the computer for my wife and kids. For some reason that I can't fathom, the desktop display feature doesn't allow me to center the desktop picures for those other accounts, as it does for mine, so they can't similarly center a succession of photos/pictures. (Because their preferred photos/pictures can't be centered, they fill the screen as super-sized, super-blurry pictures.) Any suggestions? Thanks.
Nevermind. I figured it out. Just had to click on any one of the photos and the center/tile/stretch option appeared.

Emailing photos/pictures query
Hi,
Is it possible to email more than one photo/picture at a time from my iphone 4? The only way I know how to email a photo is to click on the picture in my camera roll and then click email photo. Once it tkaes you to the email screen it doesn't give me the option to add more photos.
If I go to my email and compose a new message it doesn't allow me to attach any photo or any file. I can't see how to any way.

It if you have an older version of Elements, you can use a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer to do this task. Reduce Saturation to 0% in the Hue/Saturation dialog, then paint using black paint on the mask to bring back desired color area(s). -
I have iphone 4 . I don't know how that happenned that the normal color on screen and all icons changed ( for example , normally green color phone icon became purple color ,) and photo pictures turned negative appearance ( ghost-like ) . Any idea how to fix this mishap ? Your help will be appreciated.

You can try two possible steps:-
1]Triple click the home button. You should get an accessibility menu.deselect the negative/black and white option.
2]Go to settings->General->accessibility->and deselect invert colours.

When I go into the albums, pictures are displayed in Safari but not on Firefox.
When creating this page on iWeb I selected 'Web Gallery' instead of 'Album'. Does this make any difference?
Regards.I have just visited "http://www.sg-karting.com/Racing/Photos/Pages/KartingEdgeRound-1.html" using both Safari Version 3.0.4 (523.12) and Firefox version 2.0.0.9 on a G4 PB 10.4.11. And both browsers displayed the same information from what I can see. All the pictures revealed themselves.
Have I picked the correct album for your example?
I tried other area's of your web site and all appeared to be the same as the Safari. Maybe you need to clear your cache. -
Photos display incomplete in Safari
I used iWeb 09, published to my local hard drive, and then uploaded to the server (since publishing directly from iWeb resulting in the entire photo gallery not showing).
Here is the problem:
In the photo gallery, some pictures are not completely shown, either in preview thumbnail or in full-view. Half of the photo would be there but the rest are in gray.
And this only happens with Safari. Not Firefox or Opera.
AND, the photos that have this problem vary from computer to computer (but all the macs I tested must have 2-3 photos appear that way)!!?

If it's not the free Cyberduck give it a try and upload the entire site. This tutorial describes how to eventually upload only those changed or new files: Old Toad's Tutorial #2 - Uploading only those published new or newly edited files when using a 3rd party FTP client.
My other browsers can't load it either. Check it again and get all of the files published.
