Photos sharing to facebook

I am able to see facebook on the share options if there are few pictures (on photos on Mac with Yosemite latest edition).  Previously on iphoto you could just click on the album and upload/share to facebook and it would.  now I have to do it in groups of less than 50 pictures.  I want to share the who 110 picture album.
1) any solutions
2) if an apple rep reads this- please make you software more use friendly.

  • Facebook Photo Sharing not connecting on Pre

Previously I've had no problem using photo sharing to Facebook. But in the last month or so, I've had trouble. So today, I deleted the account and added it. In doing so, I kept getting an error that my log in credentials were invalid and to try again. The strange thing is the log in and pword are correct. Facebook is working on the phone and syncing to calendar and contacts all using the correct log in and pword.
I've also tried restarting the Pre but no luck.  I am using the latest WebOS but this was happening even before I downloaded the new OS version.
Has anyone experienced this? Any idea what is going on?

alright guys... here goes. so i talked to a specialist. they couldn't figure it out so transferred me to another tier 2 specialist. the "tier 2", suggested all kinds of stuff to do, and finally said that they were gonna have to submit it to a 3rd specialist... hahaha.
i... i suggested that it was something wrong with the palm profile, because after a full erase, upon entering in my palm profile account username and password that *******ed "blank" facebook account was there along with my regular facebook account....
alright, enough. so, i did some looking around. i figured it out myself... it was the palm profile... they wanted me to start a new profile with a new email. uh, no.
go to back up (the two arrows in a circular pattern). turn off palm back up. it will say it is going to turn back up off and erase any data... do it. (hopefully, you have contacts saved elsewhere).
it will reset i believe. when it turns back on, it will take you to the initial screen... sign into your palm profile. go to photos, and create an account with facebook. use the right usname + psswd.
i individually went to email, calendar, contacts etc to make sure that the accounts were going to sync...
i noticed some ( a lot) of lag. so i rearranged my menus, and restarted the pre. it is fine. uploaded a test pic to facebook....... muahahahahahahaha
if this helped at all, hit a thanks button or something. yes, i still love my pre.

Mate that is fantastic, cheers for posting that.
    My steps:
    Turn off and delete backup;
    Fully erased phone;
    Signed back in to Palm Profile;
    Signed in to photos app.
    Worked like a charm.
    Cheers MedicX
I don't want to fully erase my phone until I backup my sms, etc (via backing up the database - http://www.precentral.net/how-back-your-palm-profile-information) so I have not tried that part out yet.

  • Photos shared in a Facebook album are listed as "not shared" in metadata

    Hi all,
I have the following problem : if I share a photo from Aperture 3.5.1 on my Facebook timeline, it does show as such in the "shared" page on the info pane. However, when sharing several photos to a Facebook album, none of them are marked as shared. What's more, these photos in the Facebook album synced in Aperture are listed as independant versions, not linked to an existing Aperture photo.
Am I the only one having this issue ?
    Thanks

Thanks for the reply! I found the folder and it did, indeed have ALOT of stuff in it, most of the photos I've imported in the last couple of days. I dragged it to my desktop, but iPhoto still says it's finding unimported photos when I open it. When you say to "trash the folder" do you mean the one I dragged to the desktop or the one in the 'Package Contents?" Can I delete the stuff in that original 'Package Contents' folder? I've seen a few people say not to mess with the folders within the iPhoto library, but it doesn't seem like it would need all of those files inside the "import" folder. Thanks for the help!!

  • Built in photo sharing function, no options to share on my facebook albums. The only options are 'Wall' and 'OS X Photo'

    As titled.
Few days ago I am able to share my photos to my facebook albums.
But suddenly, I was not able to do it again. The only options remain are 'Wall' and 'OS X Photos'
I would like to ask how can I get the options to share my photos on a specific facebook album.
    Thanks.

same here on 10.8.5! I am not sure, but I think I had the access to the albums under 10.8.4! Anyway, looking for a solution too.
    thanks

  • Since upgrading to the newest version of ios 8, I can no longer share my photos on facebook. I have tried going to setting-photos, but the facebook app does not show up for me to change the settings. Any suggestions?

Since upgrading to the newest version of ios 8, I can no longer share my photos on facebook. I have tried going to settings-privacy-photos, but the facebook app does not show up for me to change the settings. Any suggestions?

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

  • Problems sharing to facebook using PSE10

I am having trouble sharing to facebook using PSE10 using the High Definition option. The application seems to go thru all the steps, I am authorized and can create a new album but the pictures aren't showing up after they transfer. I have also tried sharing just one photo to no avail. the standard definition option appears to be working just fine. Any idea's?

After uploading the photos, you need to make your photos public on facebook.  Login to your account on FB and look for this.

  • Aperture crashes sharing to facebook

Aperture sharing to facebook is becoming worse and worse... Initially it was missing out some of the photos in the album but now it simply crashes every time I try to upload anything on to Facebook. I am using Aperture 3.4.3. Anyone has had these issues and have some suggestions?
    Many thanks.

Did this happen directly after upgrading to Aperture 3.4.3?
The problem with the Aperture 3.4 update is, that in some cases it did not install the correct "Account Configuration" plug-in, and so the FaceBook publisher plug-in will not work. This is supposed to be fixed  by installing the update 3.4.1 update, but if you directly upgraded to 3.4.3 you might have missed the bug fix with the 3.4.1 update. When you look at your crash log - does the crashed thread contain calls to the "FacebookPublisher"? Then it probably will help to reinstall Aperture from the original media, as described in this support article:

  • Sharing to Facebook - Duplicate albums

When I am Sharing to Facebook and choose an album already created in Facebook,
the albums in the list duplicate each time I add a photo. Note that the list duplicates equally even though I add one photo to a particular album.
What can I do to fix duplicates in this list?

I've done a lot of reorganizing in both Facebook and Aperture and things just got out-of-whack. I rebuild the database etc. but I always had these duplicate albums showing.
It was this simple fix; Remove and re-add the Facebook account that worked. Thanks for the quick reply. Apple discussions are a wonderful tool with your good help.

  • IPhoto 11 not showing files shared on facebook

My iPhoto 11 is sporadically showing which photos are also being shared on Facebook when I view by Events/Photos.
I've particularly noticed this happens when I upload photos from the same Event during different sessions-- in the second session, sometimes I end up duplicating uploads because iPhoto is not showing in the info pane that they are already being shared.
I can view which photos I'm sharing under the web source album, and I can see that there are duplicates. I have double checked under the Events by clicking on photos I know darn well I've uploaded because I'm looking right at them ON Facebook- some twice now!- and it still does not show they are sharing.
I only have one unique version of these pics in iPhoto, so I know I'm not uploading copies of the same images. I've updated all of my software to the most recent versions. I've restarted the computer. I can't think of any other reason why it's not showing sharing info.
    What is the issue?

Opps error i use iPhoto 9 not 11.

  • Publish feature for sharing to Facebook isn't available. Any ideas why?

  • Iphone 6 icloud photo sharing not working

Today I got an iphone 6, did all the updates, and tried to use the icloud photo sharing.  I can create a stream, add photos, and invite people to view; however, when other people accept the invitation nothing shows up except "No Items" despite me sharing 50+ photos.  Also, when the other person adds photos to the stream I don't see anything on my end.
    How do I fix this?

    Hi there matmkirk,
I would recommend taking a look at the Photo Stream troubleshooting steps found in the article below.

I have photo sharing turned on, on both my Iphone and my PC icloud control panel, however my pictures will not show up on my PC how can i fix this?
I had a previous problem with this with my old iphone 4 and did not realize there was an issue until it was stolen. I would like to get this straightened out just in case anything ever happens with this phone.
Thank you in advance for any help.

  • HT4362 Photo sharing

I want to set up photo sharing with my Apple TV.  When I go to Advanced in iTunes I find sharing options, but iTunes will not let me choose "Selected albums, events, faces"  That option is gray.  All I can choose is "All photos......"  What am I doing wrong?  OS 10.7.5  iTunes 10.7
    Thanks

Have you tried to share a journal instead of a photo stream? Then you can create a webpage with your pictures and send the link to the web page, see iPhoto for iOS (iPad): Share your journal as a webpage

  • Why is my shared photo stream taking up space on my iPhone when I have turned off photo sharing?

I have an iPhone 5c with iOS 8.3. It's only an 8GB iPhone, so I only have about 5.2GB of space to use. So I have to be very picky about what stays and what goes on my iPhone. Photos is one of those things that don't stay on my phone long. I have deleted all of my pictures out of my albums (both camera roll and recently deleted) and there can be no photos found in my library. In settings, I turned off all photo sharing capabilities, so I shouldn't be getting shared photos from family members on my phone and stuff. So why does my storage say that shared photo stream is taking up 54.6MB? I would like it to say 0MB. Am I missing something? I've included a couple screenshots to help clarify things. Thanks for your help!

This is what I mean. I'm seeing the 3.9 KB usage for Photo Stream under General>UIsage>Photos and Camera, nothing to do with the storage on iCloud and I have Photo Stream and everything to do with iCloud and photo sharing off. However, I may have had Photo Stream on before for a few weeks before I turned it off long ago. Could that data/used space just be a few photos that were once in Photo Stream before I turned it off if I've had it on before?

  • Photo Sharing

I installed a new software release on Apple TV AND a new software iTunes release on my Windows 7 laptop.
    Photo sharing no longer works.

It doesn't have hit counts anymore (not happy with that change either) but Picasa Web Albums has proven to meet my needs WAY better than Photobucket. Better yet you can upload web sized or full file photos plus make them public or private or semi private. I think you get the first gig of storage free & it's $5.00 per year to expand that to 20 gigs, which I feel is fair & i have 2 different album sets where I pay the fee & one that I'll keep under the radar by replacing old albums with newer ones. Picasa is also a very good free editing program & VERY easy to automate for uploads. Just Google Picasa for the download site & more info. In the meantime this is the link to one of my paid for sites.
    http://picasaweb.google.com/tcprcphotos
Which is made available to all the local clubs so they can relive each event as quickly as I can edit the photos.
