Restore, if iTunes will let you. Everything except the password will be restored. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. In your case, choose any computer with iTunes software. Be forewarned that it takes a long time. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

My Apple ID has been disabled after i tried to change my credit card details on my iTunes Store account. I am being charged money for purchases that i have never made even when the apps that i tried to download are free. I am being charged €1.98 every time. When i checked with my bank everything was in order from their end. I am changing the details and doing my purchases from my iPad. Being in Malta i use the Maltese iTunes Store for the purchases.
Can somebody help me out with this?

You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on any iOS device that you have by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

This has happened before and I have restored it by deleting the upper and lower filters in the Vista registry but then itunes tells me that "The registry settings used by the itunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing." and I am unable to burn anything from itunes.
Does anyone out there know how to restore the CD/DVD/RW drive and retain the full use of itunes please?

Have you tried to reinstall iTunes?
Reinstall the old iTunes, reboot the computer and clean by using CCleaner. Then you can install the newest version of iTunes.
If it doesnt work try to remove the upper- and lower filters again. Maybe you should do this after you have reinstalled iTunes.

Macbook pro has been wiped after an update and the majority of the contents has been lost, is there anything I can do to recover it?

I updated my laptop and now the majority of my contents seem to have been wiped. Is there anything I can do to recover them? My backup was connected at the time so it has already backed-up to the computer's present state. Most photos/ Itunes/ Mail... has been lost. I have some stuff but only up until January 2013.

If all your files are missing
You may have logged in as a different user, such as Guest. Open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. Your name should be at the top of the user list, under Current User. See also this support article.
If files are missing from one folder
Change the Finder view mode; for example, from icon view to list view, or vice versa.
If files are present, but seem outdated
You may have started up from a different volume (disk.) Open the Startup Disk preference pane and check the selection.

IMac has white screen after last update!

I am running maverick on my iMac. After this last update installed I am getting the white screen. It was working fine before. I have tried unplugging everything and restarting and that did not work. I have downloaded and reinstalled maverick and that didn't work. I have ran the disk utilities and the disk and permissions are good. When I am in the disk utility screen there are fuzzy about 1 inch lines running up and down the screen about 2 inches apart. And when I enter the disk utility start up the screen that is gray with the apple logo is all fuzzy. I have a time machine backup but it is a month or so old and I have a couple of files I really need to save if I can.

I Have gotten in using the left shift key forcing safe mode. There are still verticle lines up and down the screen.

Unfortunately, although I might now need to look at the add-ons which you list, my posting relates to the fact that a member of the Mozilla team has raised a flag relating to a currently installed add-on, yet has neglected to explain his/her reasons for doing that.
A component of "Screenshot Pimp" is currently spamming my copy of the Firefox Error Console, and possibly flushing out messages which I might need to catch before Firefox would normally flush them out of the Console, but I know of no other reason for "Screenshot Pimp" falling out of favour/favor.
If anyone can find the "administrator" concerned, would they please see if this "administrator" can remember why they disabled the add-on. I would like to find out if I need to play Russian Roulette with replacements for "Screenshot Pimp", on the offchance that I can find one which works in Firefox 17.0.1, and might still work when the next update is installed.

I get the message "Your Apple ID has been disabled" trying to update apps on my iPad, iPhone or on iTunes on my Win7 PC.
Support requests submitted to the web site get CLOSED quickly with no helpful information or email to me about it being resolved. Someone or something at Apple's end decided the case is resolved. And, it isn't resolved.
The account disabling was a result of a charge-back of $99.99. I disputed the charge to my bank and the bank refunded the amount to my credit card account.
I'm at the mercy of Apple Inc and nobody over there is apparently listening or interested.

I have an iphone 3G which has been disabled after a child tried to get into it. Itunes will not connect until I have put the passcode in but the device will only enable emergency calls and does not allow a passcode to be put in. I have a problem with my anti virus add on Trend Micro as it has been disabled after I upgrade to FF 4. It said that Trend micro NSC Firefox extension 6.5.0.1234 (disabled).

#Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] and download it to the desktop. 
#Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box). 
#Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 
#Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier. 
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.
