Photos Stuck On My Old Audiovox Cell Phone

I recently switched to AT&T and I'm really enjoying my iPhone. However, I have some pictures on my old cell phone that I'd really like to get. They're parked right now on an Audiovox 8912 and with no service plan attached to the phone, those photos aren't about to be uploaded to the Web or anything. How can I access these photos? I'd throw the rest of the phone away if I could just get those pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You can check the manufacturer's website to see if there is a USB cable and/or software available for data transfer.

  • Printing photo from email by way of cell phone. Need to print on photo paper

New to forum and new to HP Printer (HP ENVY 7640). My question is, if my printer is loaded with both plain paper and photo paper, it automatically defaults to the plain paper when trying to print photos, by email from my cell phone. Do I need to remove the plain paper from my printer's tray in order to get it to print on the photo paper?

Hi, Looks like a Yes, you need to remove normal papers. I ran few tests on my loan Envy 7640 printer and it knows the size of photopaper I put in (from the printer screen) but it ONLY prints 4x6. Hope this answer your question. Regards.

  • Printing photos from cell phone on a wireless HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus

My wife sends photos to the printer from her cell phone, but not jst the photo gets printed, but also a lot of area outside of the photo gets printed in black ink - very wasteful.  How do you set up the printer or the phone so that only pictures get printed and not a lot of non-photo outside space?

Another option that you can try is using the Hp ePrint app for iPhone or the Hp Home and biz app for android devices. This may eliminate your problem.
Let me know how it goes.

  • Need instructions on how to download photos and videos from my Samsung cell to my iPhoto

Need instruction for how to import photos and videos from my Samsung cell phone to iPhoto.  Thx

Copy the files to the Mac and then drag them to the iPhoto window, or use the File -> Add to Library command
As for how to connect the phone and the Mac, for that you'll need to read the manual for the phone or seek support from a Samsung or Android (that's the operating system) site.

  • Can I move photos from my Mac to my droid phone?

I have had no trouble transferring photos I take with my Android cell phone to my iPhoto library on my Mac desktop computer.
But now I want to do the reverse--I want to move some photos from my Mac to the droid (so I can send them via messaging).
    Is this possible?   Thanks.

Contact droid support - you can export them from iPhoto to the desktop - getting tehm onto the Droid does not involve iPhoto

    Hi Larryh41,
Just to check with you, does it happen to all images or that particular image file only.
How about sending other types of document from your cell?
Does it fail with the same message?
Also, perhaps you can try sending using the web based email on your cell?

iPhone doesn't have the MMS photo feature your old cell phone had.
    You need to use e-mail.
You can, however, do a search of this forum and find the correct e-mail links to send photos to people's cell phones which THEY will receive as MMS photo messages. In general, the format is [email protected] or .net whichever their company uses. Search here - there is a thread with the complete links for just about all providers in the US. But that does mean you need to know their provider.

Since this is the second computer you've had this problem with, I recommend you look for answers on the iPhone forum. My thinking is it is an iPhone issue rather than a computer issue (unless it is some software incompatibility).

My cell phone will not back up properly to my laptop.  I have tried three times in two days as I knew I was getting my new phone today and wanted to save all my information.  The problem is that it backed up very random things like things from my IPod from years ago, and did not back up all the information it should have from my "old" cell phone.  Now I am missing almost everything.  What happened and can i fix this?

First, make sure you are using the most current version of iTunes 11.1.3 (8).  Second, what version of iOS 7 was your old phone running, i.e. 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.0.2? If your back-up was made with a version of iOS that is newer than the version on your new phone, it will not sync. For example, if your back-up was of a phone running iOS 7.0.4, and your new phone was running 7.0.2 out of the box, the back up will not sync to the new phone until it is updated to iOS 7.0.4.

  • My MacBook Pro does not recognize my Android Incredible 2 cell phone and I can not transfer my photos from my cell phoen to my Mac. I was able to do this in the past, but can no longer do so. i havenot upgraded to any new software.

My MacBook Pro does not recognize my Android Incrdible 2 cell phone and therefore I can not transfer any photos from my cell phone to my Mac. I was able to do this in the past, but can not do so now. I have not upgraded to any new software. My USB cable is plugged in properly and I just get an error message -- "No Android Device Found". What could be the problem?

I had the same issue with the Galaxy S4 trying to see what the hype was about and was my first and last android phone. With that being said unfortunately it is a hit or miss with the Mac recognizing an android device or not.  It worked perfectly fine the first time around and then it stopped working for no apparent reason. Through trial and error nothing I did solved the issue.   I did however plug it in my Mac and left it connected for about 30-40 min to charge for a bit and all of the sudden it recognizes the phone. So I just launched Android File Transfer and everything else became fluid after that.    I have no explanation as to why it happened that way, but what I gathered from this is maybe you just have to let it sit for a minute while plugged in before the Mac recognizes it, after all they are opposing software.  On a side note this is why I will always be an apple user, Iphones and the like never have this problem

  • How to change photo size settings on cell phones and tablets

I've worked in graphic design for many years, but I just encountered a new situation for me.
In the past, whenever I got photos from a digital camera or even a cell phone, the default pixel settings were more than sufficient to work with. For example, the default pixel settings on my digital camera are 4608x3456.
But in this situation, I'm getting photos from technicians who know nothing of computer graphics. I need to crop their photos to 640x480. But some of them are coming in smaller than that (one is 234x420).
I believe they are taking these photos with their cell phones or their tablets (but they could be using different brands).
So I've been asked to instruct them in how to take their photos so they come out big enough for us to crop to the appropriate size.
But I always thought that the defaults for all devices that take photos are pretty huge, like my own digital camera. I don't understand why any would come in so small, unless the techs tried to edit the photo themselves before sending it to us.
So is there a way to change the photo settings on smart phones and tablets? If so, is it pretty similar for different brands, or will I have to research and give instructions for every brand they have?
Or, do you agree that they might be trying to edit their photos themselves before sending them?

    Hi,
If you would like to download the HP ePrint app which is available free from your app store, there is some extra functionality which may be of benefit to you

  • Dowloading photos useing Bluetooth from Cell phone

I have a Samsung SCH a870, and would like to transfer pictures from onto a MacBook Pro using Bluetooth and iPhoto from a recent trip to Italy. The phone and Mac appeared to be paired and configured. Still iPhoto does not appear able to pick up the phone and transfer pics via Bluetooth.
    Device Name: SCH-A870
    Device Address: 00-17-e4-xx-xx-xx
    Device Type: Phone
**Device Services: Voice Gateway, AUDIO Gateway, Dial-up Networking**
    Paired: Yes
    Configured: Yes
    Favorite: Yes
    Connected: No
Device services list doesn't look promising. It's puzzling that the devices aren't listed as connected.
    Many thanks,

    John,
I don't think you can directly import from your phone into iPhoto. You will need to put the phone photos into a folder somewhere (such as your desktop) and import that folder into iPhoto.
However, that 'Not connected' item is not reassuring. You may have a problem similar to mine, with my LG phone. I can get photos FROM my Mac TO the phone, but not the other direction. They are obviously connected correctly, and I can 'send' images to the phone. When I try to 'get' the images from the phone, the connection is severed.
From what I could tell on LG sites and one of the BlueTooth ones here, certain LG phones just won't transfer their images.
The only way I have found to get photos from my cell phone is to email them to myself.
