Photos uploaded onto Facebook are small

Hey,
I have a macbook and iLife '08 and it appears that every time I upload photos onto Facebook and/or Myspace, the photos are very small compared to other Windows users.
Is there anything that can be done about this?

1 - you posted in the iPhoto '09 forum - it is recommended that you post in the correct forum - the answers are different for different versions - I will request that the host move this to the correct forum - no need to repost
2 - quit going into your iPhoto library directly (it is difficult as you see and dangerous) and use the OS tools provided to correctly and safely access your photos - click here for a discussion on accessing your photos.

There is no "cda format" - this is just how Windows Explorer shows the tracks on an audio CD that can be played on any CD player. Help with Photos Uploaded to Facebook?

Hello everyone I am new to the forum and relatively new to MAC.
Can somebody help me with my question.
I have quite a lot of photos stored on my Macbook and and most of the 'albums' are uploaded to facebook too. I would like to know if I deleted some of my album files full of photos - would the ones on Facebook still show up - both on my computer AND on my facebook albums.
I feel if I remove them from my computer then I may lose them off my facebook page too?
I want to burn all my photo's to disk to free up space on my Macbook.
If anyone understands my question and can advise I would be grateful.

Ah thank you TD... but this is not the reply I was hoping for!!! Forgive my ignorance but I still don't understand...
Let me explain. For intstance I have a file of photos in my iPhoto albums - I then hightlighted all of those pics and clicked the FaceBook icon and 'that album' then got uploaded to my Facebook photos.. this then shows up on my iPhotos as having TWO lots of that album stored. If I wanted to put the album on disk and then remove it from my album list in iPhoto's BUT the FB album would still be there - would it mean that that the FB album would also be removed. I can't really explain it properly here but I hope you know what I mean.
Next question... I have thought about an external drive - a friend has suggested that BUT I don't really understand how they work, would I have to have it connected to my laptop all the time OR just when I wanted to view/sort/upload my photos and this goes for my Itunes files too... I have a lot of songs stored there also!!
I wish I knew more about computers and MAC lol

Photos uploaded to facebook have incorrect date in iPHOTO

I found about 30 events in iPHOTO with a single photo in them.
I panicked - thinking all the remaining photos from each event were missing.
Then I noticed every single event had the same date - Jan 1, 2013 - even though all of the photos were from earlier dates.
Finally I noticed that these seem to be photos that were originally in iPHOTO and had been uploaded to Facebook from iPHOTO (again- these photos were all uploaded BEFORE Jan 1, 2013) .
Does anyone know what is going on here?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Duplicate/Triplicate photos uploaded to Facebook albums from iphoto

When I upload photos from Iphoto to Facebook, the same photo is uploaded two or even three times, and I then have to delete the duplicate & triplicate photos. How can I prevent this from happening? Thank you very much!

Give renewing your iPhoto preference file a shot -
A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. This may help
This does not affect your photos or any database information (keywords, faces, places, ratings, etc) in any way - they are stored in the iPhoto library - the iPhoto preference file simply controls how iPhoto works - which is why renewing it is a good first step.

How do I recover photos that went missing after deleting an album from facebook?

As documented iPhoto and Face book are synced and if you delete photos that weruploaded using the iPhoto/FB uploaded then deleting photos on eaither platform will delete them ont he other platform - that is what syncing is all about - keeping the two the same

Photo Uploading on facebook

I can't upload photos through inbuilt browser of blackberry.
Whenever i go for this it will display Error-Your browser does not support photo uploaing.
Can any one help in thismatter.

Not sure why yoour using your browser. Use the tab on top the facebook home page, it works well. If you want to use a photo from the internet copy it to your blackberry first using the save as desktop feature. Doing this also puts a copy in yoou photo folder.

Facebook photos on my Mac look fine but are too dark on my iPad. Can I change any settings on my iPad?

This can be caused by a problem with the color profile for your display monitor or color profiles embedded in images. 
You can disable color management to test that. 
You can set the pref gfx.color_management.mode to 0 on the about:config page to disable Color Management. 
You need to close and restart Firefox to make the change effective.

Photos received in Facebook are too dark

Photos posted in albums on Facebook by friends are often too dark to identify the people. However, other people can go on Facebook and view the same album on their computers and they are fine. I use Firefox on a Mac OS X, version 10.4.11.
It happens frequently, but not with every photo in their album. Some will be OK and others are dark, but it is only on my computer that some are too dark.

This can be caused by a problem with the color profile for your display monitor or color profiles embedded in images.

TS3274 Help...Photos uploaded to Facebook

I used to be able to choose to send a saved photo on my iPad to Facebook. I no longer have that choice. How do I get that option back?

What app or apps are you using that no longer gives the option to send a photo to Facebook?
The Facebook app has recently been updated and it still works.
I prefer iPhoto for iOS though because with it you can create a new album or select an existing album and send multiple photos at one time.

Photo upload to Facebook

I'm having trouble uploading photos to Facebook. I either get a "unable to upload at this time" message or the screen flickers back to my Facebook home page. Any suggestions?

Any problem with the FaceBook app you need to report and take up with FaceBook especially if there is no change after some of the standard troubleshooting steps such as powering your iPhone off and on, and iPhone reset, and deleting and reinstalling the app.

Aperture 3: Photos dragged to desktop are smaller

after editing a photo in A3, it's often most intuitive to simply drag it to the desktop -- except that photos dragged to the desktop are never the same size as the original; they're smaller! exported photos are the correct size (if you choose the correct options). but the export command is often overkill.
how do i tell aperture that when i drag a photo to the desktop, i want it to be full size? (please tell me this feature hasn't been omitted -- again.)

When you drag to the desktop you get your Previews. If you don't want them you need to export. Remember there is no "edited file" lurking somewhere, just the Original and the database records of your decisions. So, if you want something other than the Preview you'll need to export. That's just how it works.

Does anybody know what to do if not all your photos upload onto iPod?

See photos only upload in one folder to my iPod and then I can't add any more than one folder. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Connect the iPod to the computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iPod in Recovery mode if necessary to allow the restore.

My webpages such as facebook are small and facebook games are not showing properly

I have tried changing font size but the pages seem scrunched into the center of the page rather than taking up the available space. Please help. Very difficult to look at.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
