Photos will not upload to iCloud in iPhoto can anyone help?

I am unable to upload photos from my events to my icloud photostream. I have reset the photostream and I still show "uploading X photos" in upper right of iphoto window while in the icloud tab in iphoto. photos will not upload. I am also unable to move pictures into icloud on any of my devices. (iphone 5 & 2nd gen ipad) will appreciate any and all help to cure my photostream problem. Thank you.

The set up is quite basic, actually extremely basic. I am just using my mac and an iPad to play notes on and using the installed synths that came with the program.
I have 17 different tracks on this piece of music with some of them using the same noise on multiple tracks to play diffent riffs.
If I try and open a new track with let's say for exame the standard piano. Try to record a part. It plays though the system but will not record even though the timing no is red.
I can send you a screen shot later today if needed. My other optioni think is to copy all of the parts into a new project and start again.

Edited photos will not upload

Hi, I was wondering if anybody else was having this problem with iPhoto: after exporting some edited pictures and uploading them online, it is NOT the edited photo that is uploaded, but the original unedited copy.
Funnily enough, the exported .PNG duplicate of the edited photo viewed through Preview displays the edited copy. I've flicked through similar topics on this forum but unfortunately nothing's worked. I'm at wit's end and any help would be appreciated! =)

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. How are you getting the photos out of iPhoto and to the Desktop?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

My iphone photos will not upload into iphoto?

When I try to upload my iphone photos into my iphoto it will load the photos but will not let me import the photos. I have tried several times and even let it sit over night, it seems to stay frozen and will not let me upload them. I need to create more space on my phone but it will not allow me to upload photos on iphoto? What can I do? Is there another program to upload my photos into?

Photos and video taken with touch will not all upload when I connect device to my computer. Some will, but not all. I am looking to fully upload all photos and videos from the touch to my computer, therefore freeing up space on the device to take more photos. Please help.

Could any of the photos have been synced to the iPod? Those you have to unsync. You can only transfer those in the Camera Roll album.
If you made albums on the iPod those to not transfer back to the computer. You have to delete those by tapping/selecting them and then tapping the trashcan icon.

Photos will not upload to photostream iphone 4

Photostream was working fine for a while and then my photos taken on the iPhone 4 would not upload. I have been trying to solve this for months. Everything is on that should be and I have followed all of the directions Apple has given to get photostream to work. Additionally, photos from iPad and macbook pro upload just fine. I even turned photostream off and back on on the iPhone 4. It turned all of my pictures into grey boxes that said JPG, but did nothing else. I can't find how to make photostream work again anywhere, please help.

Yes it is linked to wifi. Photos have not been uploading from the device for quite some time. I have followed all of the instructions availible from Apple.

Picasa edited photos will not upload to iPad2

Hi there - I have some photos of a trip that I touched up in Picasa photo editing. I tried to upload them and the original photos to the iPad2 using the camera connection kit and my SD card. Unfortunately, the iPad2 will only recognize the original photos, and does not even read the edited photos!!
Why does this happen? What must I do to ensure that touched up photos in Picasa (or any other photo editing software for that matter) can be uploaded to the iPad2 photos?

on your SD card, put your edited photos in the DCIM folder. GIve them a name like ADVC2948 (8 characters, capitol letters and numbers, no spaces) then see if the iPad will see them.
The CCK has very specific protocols for what it finds acceptible and importable.

TS2551 photos will not upload

Ive been adding pictures to my iphoto over past 6 months and they do no how up in "events", "last 12 months", etc. Then i import them from external harddrive and it shows up as a blank screen (pix visible in small frame but click on that items and zero pix). Just gald i backed them up because the thought of losing 6 months of photos annoys me. Is this Lion? Or iphoto 11 isue? Can not use photo stream either. Suggestions?

My newest photos will not upload to my computer

i have not had this problem until i just did the new update. i have a 3g. when i plug the phone into the computer, it says what do you want to do with these pictures, i say (like always) open pictures in a folder. then none of the new pictures come up. when i look at the pictures on the phone, they are there.

Widget Spry ImageSlide show will not upload - error message

I'm attempting to update our webpage (tcmfellowship.org) with a video and slideshow. The video works but I receive an error message when attemping to upload Spry Image Slide Show. The error messages are below. The photos will not upload either but I assume that is because the Spry Slide Show is not on the site.

I tried changing to passive FTP and still get the errors below when trying to upload the images. Same with the spry widget.

Photos will not allow me to set the key picture for the album or event

Photos will not allow me to set the key picture for the album or event - it is set to grey !
Anyone else had this and found why ?
new PHOTO app replacing iPhoto bugs/ Problems OTHER PROBLEMS :
- no longer has a five star rating system
- my keywords for selecting albums are gone.
- cannot copy location of one photo to another
- cannot have an album with keywords AND rating > a value
- cannot set key photo of album/event
- multi parameter search feature gone
Anyone got any ideas how to get around this terrible downgrade of the software ?
BTW I have just discovered that iPhoto and its' libraries are still there, so I can go back but be left behind and frozen in time on this version if I do.
Photos now take up 700Gb whereas it was 350Gb #@!$#@!@#!@#

That are all good points - but Photos is a completely new application. and it is only version 1.
Continue to use iPhoto, girraween; the next update to Photos will probably add a few more features.
iPhoto 9.6.1 is working very well with MacOS X 10.10.3.
The migration let iPhoto installed and also your iPhoto Library will still work with iPhoto.
If you did not uninstall iPhoto, it will still be there in your Applications folder. And if you had updated to the latest version iPhoto 9.6.1 before you upgraded to MacOS X 10.10.3, you can simply drag iPhoto back to the Dock from your Applications folder and continue to use it. Double click iPhoto and confirm, that you want to open iPhoto and not Photos. It is not compulsory to use Photos, while it it still the first release. When you launch iPhoto, you will see a warning, that the iPhoto Library has been migrated to Photos, but simply click the "Open iPhoto" button.The library will still work with iPhoto. ()see: If Photos won't open a library that you already migrated - Apple Support
If your iPhoto version is not iPhoto 9.6.1, you need to update it.

The main idea is to move the iPhoto app to the Trash, so Spotlight does not see it as installed, reload the AppStore, and then to try to download again from the App Store - from your Purchases tab, not from the main page, since you can neither buy iPhoto nor update it, but you can reinstall, if your AppleID is associated with it.
Meanwhile you may want to send a feature request to Apple using the feedback form. Apple - Photos - Feedback
I hope, Apple will listen and add more features to Photos to make it usable for large Photo Libraries.

Match will not upload tracks no longer available in the Store?

I purchased and album on 2/4/2007 (see below) which is apparently no longer available in the iTunes store.
I understand that some music that was once available might be removed from the store for copyright reasons. Because these tracks were protected AAC files Match will not upload them.
Is there any thing I can do to get these tracks into Match and therefore available to all of my devices?

He just does not want to update his Logic Pro X. It's his preference.
