Photoshop 12 bundle

installed photoshop 12 bundle on windows7 but cant install the mac os disc why?

Are you referring to Photoshop version 12, aka Ps CS 5, or to Photoshop Elements 12? Those are two totally separate programs.
If you have Photoshop Elements 12, there is a very active and helpful forum for that program. If that is what you have (you need to let us know), then we can Move your post to that forum. The answer to your question is different for Photoshop and for Photoshop Elements.
Good luck, and let us know more,

  • Lightroom /Photoshop CC Bundle

I had already purchased and installed Lightroom 5. I just bought the Lightroom/Photoshop CC bundle. Do I need to re-install Lightroom or can I just update my serial number somewhere to make sure I will get the latest versions (not updates, but actual versions)?
    John

Download both Photoshop CC and LightRoom through CC. You will end up with 2 versions of LightRoom on your system along with your old version of Photoshop 6. I have Photoshop CC and LightRoom through CC and still my old copy of Photoshop 6 and LightRoom on my system, both of which I am going to delete in the next few days. When you D/l through CC, any updates for Photoshop or LightRoom will come through CC.

  • Photoshop & Lightroom Bundle

I purchased this bundle on my desktop pc and am now on my MAC laptop and signed in but it appears that I don't have this subscription.

What do you mean "What gives you that impression"  If its a subscription and I purchase it, shouldn't I be able to access it from my desktop and my laptop?

  • Photoshop 5 bundled with elements 3

I have made a couple of slide shows on Photoshop 5 but can't seem to get audio files to load on to the slide show.. Does Photoshop only support WAV,MP3,WMA and ac3 files? I have a bunch of cd's but can't get the files to show up. The files are there but Photoshop doesn't see them. Anyway, any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

You may have problems with formats that have digital rights protection, which intentionally stop you using them for this kind of purpose. Remember that public performance of recorded material, without a license, is illegal.

Why is the font size for the Photoshop Cloud navigation menus and tools displaying extremely small on my laptop? I can barely see them. The other Adobe Cloud applications don't display small.

Is a readable interface an unreasonable expectation?
Not at all, and we should well expect that Adobe is working on it.  By their own admission they ARE working on it.  I don't sense "deafening silence" at all.  But results won't/can't be instantaneous and they're not going to promise you release dates.  Life is not like that, no matter how many times you click your red shoes together.
It's not hard to understand that right now only a small minority of Photoshop users are running high dpi screens that can't take advantage of the 200% setting.  And it was the choice of those users to buy such hardware even in light of the fact that Photoshop can't work fully well on it yet.  Adobe didn't force anyone to buy a 150 ppi display.
Frankly, if you've chosen such hardware even though Photoshop doesn't offer 150% scaling, it's your own fault.  I recently invested well over $1000 in a new monitor and I planned well enough ahead to buy a 100ppi model (Dell U3014, and it's GREAT).  There's a reason that very new technology is called "bleeding edge".  If you want "To Work" instead of "Dealing With Quirks", sometimes you have to be conservative.
A majority of Photoshop users DO expect new and useful features, however, such as new tools, new camera support in Camera Raw, etc., so Adobe understandably cannot dedicate every resource they have to revamping Photoshop's user interface just for a special few folks who have irresponsibly adopted new display technology.
We can debate all day how much Adobe ought to be spending on engineering development, but you and I don't run the company.  We don't make business decisions for them.  I do, however, claim to understand their capabilities and limitations - possibly better than most - because I'm in the same business.
I can only recommend you be patient.  One day Photoshop will respond to your desktop settings.
What the heck has anybody ever accomplished here, with Adobe, in either fashion?
Rhetorical or not, some quite tangible things do come to mind...
At one time I couldn’t paste my clipboard containing a grayscale image into a new document via an action assigned to a key; the color engine would crash.  Today I can do so without incident.
At one time multiple Help windows would pop up unexpectedly, often when working in the Styles panel.  Today they don’t.
At one time I had to select Basic GPU mode.  Today I use Advanced GPU mode without a problem.
Once running Liquify or Smart Sharpen or a number of other things were slow, especially on big images.  Now they're quite fast, with GPU acceleration.
At one time an action could not write data back to a document when in windowed mode.  Today it works.
At one time panorama stitching and focus stacking did not work.  Now it works.
At one time most filters only worked on 8 bits/channel data.  Now many of them can handle 16 bits/channel.
Once naysayers predicted that the Photoshop Photography bundle would shoot up in price.  Yet today it's still $9.99 a month.
Once it was impossible to read Photoshop's UI on a 200+ ppi screen.  Now there's a new 200% setting for that.
I'm sure I can think of other things.  And of course the software isn't perfect today.  It never will be absolutely perfect.
Station_two, are you keeping up with the latest Photoshop releases?  If not, I submit that your rhetoric may be falling out of date.

  • Thumbnails for HD videos not appearing in Photoshop Organizer

How do I get thumbnails to appear in .mts (Canon HD) videos in Photoshop Organizer (bundled with Photoshop / Premiere 8?

    Hello A.T. Ramano,
First and foremost I would like to take you in advance for any and all help.  I will try to answer your question to the best of my abilities but please remember I'm not all that technically savvy in these matters.
    1.     Elements Organizer is version 8.0.  Premiere Elements is version 8.0.  I've tried to down load the update but get a message that is already installed.  Not to sure what you ment by sourse, unless you're wanting to know that Premiere was installed via DVD disks.
    2.     File extension for HD video files is (.mts).
    3.     The camera is a Canon Vixia HF S20.
    4.     I'm not sure where to look for compression levels.  Video quality is set at the highest level on the camera (MXP).
    5.     Thumbnails show up in the Premiere elements organizer (sometimes), but never in the Elements Organizer.
    6.     Haven't tried downloading the trial version of Premiere 9.0, that's next.  If that doesn't work was thinking about uninstalling Premiere 8.0 and re-installing it.
    7.     QuickTime Player is version 7.6.9.
    8.     Windows Media Player is version 11.0.6002.18311.
    9.     Pixela Image Mixer 3SE player is version 6.0.1.  Tried to update all three players and received a message that players were up to date.
    10.   Video is shot in 16:9 mode, Super Fine / 1920x1080, Cinema Mode progressive frame rate of (PF24).
    11.   Computer is a Dell Studio XPS laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40 GHz, 4.0 GB of ram, Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit operating system service pack 2, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 video card with 1GB of on board ram.
If there is other information you require, please don't hesitate to ask,  Thank you again for your help.
    Sincerely,

  • Help Purchasing 4 Copies of Photoshop CS6 with Discs?

Hi All, I am the Team Leader of a very busy medical photography dept at the largest public hospital in New Zealand and we wish to buy 4 new copies of Photoshop CS6 for our medical photogapher ie one for each photographer. We cannot, nor will ever, use the "Cloud" because of the highly confidential images that we document and distribute for medical records and clinical education. The lease option is not going to work either as every automatic monthly payment from generated from our purchasing dept, costs $30 ontop of what our monthly lease would be to Adobe making this too expensive( to say nothing of the inconvienience of being disconnected if a software payment gets missed one month).
Further, we will be upgrading all our machines from Windows XP to Windows 7 in a few months so this will mean re-installing Photosop CS6 (assuming that we can find someone willing to sell us the discs) after that as well...so for lots of reasons the best solution for us at the moment, would be to purchase legacy discs of Photoshop CS6( including Bridge) and I have secured trust funds to purchase this new software.I thought that I could buy 4 legacy versions from either  B&H photo in New York or Amazon( who both show legacy discs for sale on their respective websites) but neither will sell these discs to any one outside of the USA.
I have searched for licenced resellers in New Zealand via the Adobe website but none come up. I have tried ringing Adobe New Zealand( 5 times!) but they refuse to return my call even after leaving 5 messages and when I ring the customer support I get put through to a call centre in India where the support consists of an operator with very little English language skills. The one time I did get hold of a native English speaking customer support person in the USA they told me that I had to ring the UK to speak to a person there but the UK is 12 hours behind us so that would mean ringing them in the middle of the night to speak to speak to someone about this ....by now I hope you are getting a very small idea of my frustration with this process and appalling customer service!...can anyone help me please???

I think you are misunderstanding a few things about Creative Cloud
The software is installed on your computer and the data never goes on the cloud unless you specifically choose to put it there.
You mention four copies, but one photographer.  Each license allows two simultanious activations of Photoshop.  Other people would not need Photoshop to view the images of course.
Your Creative Cloud subscription will NOT stop working if you are unable to log on to the internet for some weeks, (or even months if you have a years subscription).
You can pay for a full year in one go.
    Other things to consider:
As a medical department, you would probably want to use the measurment tools that come with the Extended version.  That makes CS6 a lot more expensive, but is an integral part of CC
There are some important features being added to CC that I can see your department making good use of.
Creative Cloud has a Teams option, although don't forget you can have two installations for each licence so long as both are used by the same person (deskop and laptop for instance)
I live in Marlborough, and I used to hate the permenent license model because of Adobe's price gouging.  It used to cost me around 50% more for Photoshop than people using the same program bought in America.  I am paying about NZ$23 a month for a Full Creative Cloud subscription of >30 applications.  That is almost exactly the same as in America.  Note this is the discounted first year price because I am a previous user, and it goes up to US$50 a month after that first year.
If you are able to qualify for the Photoshop Photographers bundle deal, you will get Photoshop CC and Lightroom for US$10 per month.  That is such a bargain.
So all in all, I would advise you to think again about a Creative Cloud subscription.
I am in NZ and would happy to talk to you, although I am not in any way working for Adobe, and would not be able to help regards account details.

  • Photo bundle serial will not work in lightroom 5.4.

I just bought a photo bundle membership but the serial number will not work in lightroom 5.4.
I hade a tril version of LR5.4 which has now run out so I purchased the PhotoShop LightRoom bundle but the serial number will not activate LightRoom.
    I get a big red x
    Can any body help[ plaease.
    Regards
    Rik

You have to install Lightroom 5.4 through the CC Application Manager. Before you can do this proceed as follows.
Uninstall the LR 5.4 trial (Mac drag the application from your Application sub folder) win use the Control Panel feature to uninstall. Your user presets, catalog etc will remain in place.Reboot your system then open the CC Application Manager and the LR download should be available for download. You will not have to actually input the serial number.
Both applications are the same just the licensing procedure is different in the Creative Cloud.

  • Photoshop CC quits immediately after opening

Same problem as many. Photoshop / Lightroom bundle. Running on Windows 8.1. Bridge and Lightroom work but photoshop shuts down after start up.
Can open a photo from bridge but then prompted to save before shut down.
Tried all suggestions on forums regarding log in and out of creative cloud app. reinstall etc.

MikeLinton_UK since you posted to the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum can you please review your installation log files for error messages?  You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  Please post any errors you discover to this discussion.

  • I am new to the $9.99 per month club. Lightroom downloaded with no trouble. Photoshop CC has failed for the 3rd time. What gives?

Below are the details of my failed Photoshop CC install. This has happened 3 times. Any answers out there?
    Exit Code: 6
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR:

ERROR: Failed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64). The exit code you are receiving is due to a security patch which you need to install before you can install the C++ redistributable.
i.e. You have to make sure your computer is up to security standards, all patches installed: Please see the Javascript security patch at the following page:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/Results.aspx?q=exists%20with%20code%20-2147024546&fo rm=DLC
Then you install your C++ with the below link.
Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 from Official Microsoft Download Center
Then you can install your Photoshop/Lightroom bundle
Security is everything these days. Think about putting your system on an auto-update for security related patches, or due to 'other issues' if you'd rather, simply make it a rule to run the system update when you're checking your mail, that way you'll always stay up on the security updates. *IF* your system is vulnerable, to a javascript exploit, even if you are running HTTPS everywhere, you are at risk. Not only are you at risk, but every computer you come into contact with is then also at risk. Be kind to your internet neighbors and if you have any questions, see

  • Photoshop CC for CS3+ Upgrade to Photoshop for Photographers?

How can I tell if my PS CC for CS3+ has been upgraded to the Photoshop photography program including LR?

Log in to your Adobe account and check your orders.
Also, if you are subscribed to the Photoshop Photographer bundle Lightroom 5 should show up with an Install button in your Creative Cloud desktop app.  You may have to sign out and back in if you haven't logged out and back in since the time of purchase.
