Photoshop 13.0.1.1 update?

Adobe Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7 x64.
I saw the announcement that a Photoshop 13.0.1.1 update is available. My installed Photoshop version is 13.0.1.0
Checking via Help | Updates tells me that Photoshop is up-to-date.
So I went to download the update from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and ran it. Yet Photoshop still shows version 13.0.1.0; both from About Photoshop, as well as the properties of photoshop.exe (dated 2012-09-16).
Anyone else seeing this?

Hi Pat,
The build string won't change for the certificate update. You need to check the timestamp on the digital signature.

Verify the update installed successfully
To verify that you have successfully updated Photoshop CS6’s code signing certificate:
1. Navigate to the Photoshop installation directory.
       These are the default Photoshop install locations:
Windows 7 64 Bit: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)
Windows 7 32 Bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6
2.    Right click on photoshop.exe and choose Properties.
3.    Choose Digital Signatures tab.
4.    Verify that the updated signature datestamp is:
        Sept 16th 2012, published by Adobe Systems Incorporated
For additional details about the certificate:
1.    Select the Adobe signature.
2.    Click Details.

Photoshop CS6 has two new updates: 13.0.2 and 13.1. The 13.0.2 update is available only for Mac users and updates the user interface to be Retina compatible. The 13.1 is for Creative Cloud subscribers and adds new features to Photoshop CS6.
How do I get the updates?
Simply go to Help > Updates to launch the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) to start the download process. You may already have an AAM notification to install these updates waiting in your task bar. You can also download and install the 13.0.2 update from here:

What is the availability of these updates?
The 13.0.2 update is available only for Mac OSX version 10.6 or later. The 13.1 update is only available to Creative Cloud subscribers (including Creative Cloud single-app membership, i.e. subscribing to Photoshop only), but it is for both Windows and Macintosh.
Some of the Photoshop CS6 System Requirements have changed in order to allow for the features in the 13.1 update.
Windows XP and Vista are no longer supported.
The video card VRAM requirements have gone up to 512 MB.

No, the 13.1 update also includes the Retina display enhancements added with 13.0.2. So on the Mac platform, you will only be asked or are required to install the 13.1 update if you are a Creative Cloud subscriber.

I am not a Creative Cloud subscriber, why do I not the get the 13.1 update? Doesn't my full purchase also qualify me for free updates?

Why do my images appear smaller on my Retina enabled Mac after installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update?
Retina displays use a higher pixel density than a normal monitor. The individual display pixels are approximately one half the size of previous devices. While working in Photoshop before installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update, as with any other non-Retina optimized application, the number of pixels used is doubled to give a normal, non-miniaturized appearance. This can cause applications to be slightly blurred or pixilated. Thus, when viewing images in Photoshop, the zoom level is effectively double whatever is displayed. At 100% zoom, the image is displayed so that every one image pixel is shown with four display pixels, the same as viewing the image at 200%. With the 13.1/13.0.2 update, Photoshop now displays natively on Retina screens, meaning that image pixels now appear at the much smaller Retina size, thus reducing the amount of screen space they take up when viewed at 100%.

Why have icons disappeared?
Due to changes in the number of pixels involved in the UI, some icons can disappear. If the Photoshop Dock icon is now blank, rebooting the computer will refresh the system and load the new HiDPI icon. Some extensions do not have a Retina ready icon and thus will be blank when you have the panel minimized. In most cases like these, we may have to wait until the manufacturer also releases a HiDPI version of the Extension. Additionally, sub-menu headers may become blank when you view the contents of the sub-menu. For example, if you select Filter > Sharpen, while viewing the list of Sharpen, Sharpen Edges, Sharpen More, etc "Sharpen" itself will be blank.

Well that might explain things more than I've garnered from the Forums. I've got a MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion and a Mac Pro with Lion, both with CS6 Design and Web Premium on them. The Mac Pro updates Photoshop to 13.0.3, the MacBook Pro is "stuck" at 13.0.1. It won't update via the "Help/Updates" or by downloading and trying to install manually. AAM gives an error when trying manually; says to contact support. Other CS6 apps, i.e. Illustrator, do not update on the MBPro either. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, deactivated/reactivated, etc., to no avail. If it means anything, I just deactivated the Illustrator app, quit it, restarted, and the splash screen (which shows the loading progress) showed "Try" on it - haven't noticed that before, and I have not installed any trial downloads. I'm at a loss as to why one installation of CS6 Design and Web Premium (physical/downoad) will update properly on one computer and not the other.
Am waiting to see if Adobe has an answer. The apps work, just don't update...

You might try installing the update using the downloads from the pse update page:

For PSE 9, the update process was best using a manual method.
Are you trying to do Help - Updates?
If so try these downloads (fand follow the manual instructions given on the pages.

I have a problum. I'm showing a photoshop camera raw 6.7 update and it will not install. I have tried to download the update direct but when I download it my OS dont know what to use to install it. Can someone advise as I am using Windows 7 64bit and Design Premium CS5

If you get the following error when updating ACR 6.2 on OSX:
"Photoshop Camera Raw 6.2 Update Installation failed"
Look for /Applications/Adobe
If it is a FILE instead of a folder then delete it.
Rerun the update.

The reason i ask, even though you wrote cs6, is the camera raw 6.7 update is for photoshop cs5.
Did you try Help>Updates from within photoshop to get the most recent version of camera raw, which is 8.7 for photoshop cs6?

How to deploy Adobe Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update - multiple languages

I used Creative Suite 4 Deployment Toolkit to modify Adobe CS4 installation. Installation works like a charm. I have disabled auto updates in the installation of CS4.
My problem is now finding guide or information how to deploy updates.
I have downloaded: Adobe Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update - multiple languages from adobe.com.
Unpacked the zip and I dont see any files that I can modify to install the upgrades in silent mode. There is one setup.exe and two MSI files. I tired looking at MSI files in Wise but there was very little there.
Only information I could find was guide how to run silent updates for CS3, but I dont think its same for cs4.
I talked to Norwegian/Swedish support but that didnt get anywhere
Any info you guys can provide is greatly appreciated.

Adobe Camera Raw 5.7 is the latest for Photoshop CS4 Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows
The problem is that your new camera is supported by ACR 8.7 and only Photoshop CS6 and up supports this version.
So if you do not want to buy CS6 or subscribe to the $10/month Photography Program, you have to convert the CR2 files to DNG to work on them. Your original CR2s are untouched in the process, you just can't directly edit them in CS4, only the DNGs.
Maybe Canon offers editing software for their CR2s, but CS4 is not going to be updated and there is no way around that.
It's not what you want to hear, but that's the situation so far.
Maybe Elements or Lightroom has updated raw support for your camera, so I encourage you to visit those forums and ask.

You need to buy PSE13. But you can continue with PSE9 if you download and install the free DNG converter to convert your CR2 files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the DNG files will work with yoir existing software(keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 won't update

I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 from DVD to my new iMac that is running OS X Maverics.
Elements Organizer is crashing quite often and I found out that at least in some older versions the ElementsAutoAnalyzer might cause that kind of problems. So I unticked all check boxes at preferences Media-Analysis tab.Ele
I'm not sure yet, if that helped, because after that (unchecking check boxes from Media-Analysis), I tried to install updates (basically there is only Photoshop Camera RAW 8.2 update availabel via automatic update), but I was not able to install that, because installation program tells me that I must close ElementsAutoAnalyzer. How do I close it in OS X? I even rebooted mac after unchecking of Media-Analysis stuff, but still the auto analyzer is loaded somehow / somewhere in system startup.
So, what I should do?

I did all things that was in nealeh's link. Basically I did steps 3 to 4, because I did step 1 yesterday and step 2 was not needed, because there weren't ElementsAutoAnalyzer process running.
At least now I was able to install the new update (Camera RAW 8.2). I'm writing this just after the update process, so I'm not made any picture moving to organizer's albums, but let's hope that disabling AutoAnalyzer helped for those crashes
I have (at least in my own opinion) good experience of Windows systems, but I have had enought of those and started to use Mac instead of Windows. So basically I'm noobie about Macs with little of Linux knowledge - it didn't helped with this problem...
I would like to thank both of you for helping me to deactivate of this Element's "feature"!
Also I'm new with these Adobe forums --> is here some dedicated forum for Mac related things or what is the best way to give feedback or questions related to running Premiere Elements on Mac? In other words: If I came up with things that are worth of contributing to other Mac users, where should I write those things?
