Photoshop 3d Render - Meshes won't move

Hello,
I can hardly think of anything more frustrating than dealing with the bugginess of Photoshop 64 bit CS6 Extended 3d (v13.0 x32 -- no updates since launch??) on a Windows 7 x64 workstation. It constantly crashes, renames my layers, and scenes will suddenly go in to the netherworld requiring a PS restart.
However, after spending hours assembling a scene with just 3 simple postcard meshes, I can no longer affect the meshes' coordinates or sizes either by dragging or typing in numbers in to the properties panel -- after attempting a move, it shows the busy cursor for a second or two and then puts the mesh back where it started. To add insult, it adds an undo state to move the mesh back! I tried restarting PS to no avail.
Has anyone experienced this and found a work-around? I hesitate to re-assemble the scene with a new file if this is a common occurence.
It seems like if you didn't buy the Adobe Creative Cloud, your version of PS is ignored and left languishing with all the day-1 bugs.

That's certainly a possible solution, however I'm trying to produce a bunch of rendered images from a 3D scene that mostly doesn't change save the textures and positioning (similar to http://viveredesign.com/portfolio/vivere-design-sample-laup-campaign). When merging 3d layers, (AFAIK) the scene parameters get reset and I have to spend time dialing in all the angles again.
Interestingly, I found that the "Reparameterize UVs..." 3D menu item was selectable (sometimes) and when I selected it, it made some bizarre changes to my mesh materials (flipping them, resizing, etc.), but I was again able to move the stuck mesh. (Previous attempts at deleting/editing/recreating the offending meshes' materials didn't fix the problem.) But this workaround too would be too time consuming.
Anyway, in the end, I'm glad I set-up automatic versioned backups for our office. I was able to find a version of my 3D workfile that hadn't yet been corrupted and have now saved it in a new location as an locked reference file for when this happens again.
In case others are interested in continuing the diagnosis of this issue, my workstation does auto-sleep after a period of time and the file stays open in PS through sleeps, so this may cause file corruption somehow?

Pagemaker is ancient, obsolete and unsupported. It was discontinued over 10 years ago. (Though why it is still sold is a mystery.)
If you want to run PageMaker, your best bet is to use a Win2K or WinXP PC.
Otherwise move to Indesign or look at Serif's PagePlus or Scribus.

Gradient overlay won't move with item

I've created a button with a gradient overlay, but when I click and drag the button, the gradient overlay stays put, it won't move with the button. Is there an option I'm overlooking to anchor the gradient with the item I've created? I've never seen this before. I'm on Photoshop CC 14.0 on a Mac.

How are you creating the gradient overlay: via layer style, shape fill properties, or adjustment layer? All except the adjustment layer will move with the button. For the adjustment layer, you need to select both layers and link them together with the chain icon in the layer pallet.

It's not uncommon for it to not work the first time and sometimes, you have to try it a few times. Turn off your antivirus software and your firewall while you are trying to restore the iPad. Enable them again after you restore.
If that still won't work, post back with detailed information as to what exactly does happen as you go through the process.

Photoshop elements 11 albums won't sync

Photoshop Elements 11 albums won't sync with ipad using iTunes.
I was using PE10 and synced my albums using iTunes to my iPad 3 iOS 6.0 and 5.1 just fine. (itunes 10.7.0.21) I upgraded to PE11 and it goes into perpetual sync when albums are selected. I deleted some albums and added test albums in PE11 and those changes are not reflected in iTunes.
I worked with Apple Care for about 2 hours uninstalling all of the Apple software (iTunes, etc) and reinstalling. That did not fix it. Apple declared it an Adobe problem and suggested I call them.
I worked with Adobe about 45 minutes before they declared it an iTunes problem.
Any ideas out there?

I solved the mystery. It had to do with the file metadata in the Photoshop Elements catalog. When I moved the catalog (pictures) from my old machine to the new machine, the path (folder location) of the images changed. So, although the catalog had cached thumbnails of the photos to display in Photoshop Elements (which tricked me into thinking that the path to the images was correct), the paths were actually wrong. All I had to do was “reconnect” the missing images (a feature in Photoshop Elements which corrects missing/wrong paths to images) and now everything works correctly (sync in iTunes).

Flex 4 Chart title won't move when positioned

I have an issue with my horizontal chart title in my Flex 4 bar chart--it just won't move when I try to position it someplace other than the default (which is center).
I followed the example in the livedocs: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=charts_displayingdata_05.html, specifically the one using the 'titleRenderer" property of the AxisRenderer, and setting it to my custom AxisRenderer class. Here is my code:

Setting the textAlign property doesn't work. I have tried setting this property in the css as well and applying it directly to the axis, which also doesn't work. I have also tried "this.x = -100" etc, to no effect. Any ideas?

To do the "masking" that you are referring to, I think that two Effects (explore each, to see which works best for you), will give you what you want:
The Crop Effect, applied to the Still Images in Video Track 3. This Effect can be Keyframed to change, as is required over time.
The 4-Point Garbage Matte Effect.
If the Still on Video 2 is sized to the Frame of the Project, say 1920 x 1080 for Full-HD, it will "cover" the Video on Video Track 1.
Note: it is best to Scale the Still Images to very close to what you want/need, in PS, or PSElements, prior to Import. What you are doing with the Still Images in Video Track 3 is creating a PiP (Picture in Picture). This ARTICLE goes into more detail on

I had this problem too recently. I kept restoring as new iphone and it kept coming back to this screen after 12hrs of restoring. I got fed up and decided to select the set up as new phone and it popped over to the normal sync screen and started syncing all my apps back and set the phone up as it was.
Must be a bug in the system.
