Photoshop 64 bit CS6 Extended
When I try to use the pipet to alter colours in a large or small file the tool stops with a window due to program fault and cannot be used .
Strange thing is under 32bit software it works fine ?????
It does not respond with adobe files or even jpeg files so is there a problem with 64bit Photoshop Extended.
Computer spec's more than enough for Adobe, Autocad etc etc . i7 512GB SSD 6GB dual Nvidia Graphics......

Is there a 64-bit CS6 Extended?
About 18 months ago, I upgraded from CS5 to CS6 (Windows 7 Pro). Today, I upgraded to CS6 Extended. (Many thanks to JJMack for telling me how to do that.) Originally, when I upgraded from CS5 to CS6, I upgraded to the 64-bit CS6, which I still have on my PC. Today, when I upgraded from CS5 to CS6 X, I didn't see any option to select a 64-bit version of CS6 X. Is there a 64-bit Extended, or is it strictly a 32-bit application?
This is for suite specific issues. You seem to need help with one specific application.

Error massage Photoshop Cs6 extended
Few days ago I upgraded my Photoshop to Cs6 extended. Every time when I want to open the Photoshop first I have error massage. (See screen shot), when I click OK the Photoshop loading normally. Numerous time I uninstalled the Photoshop and reinstalled, same issue.

[email protected]Laszlo, no screenshot was attached. Thus we can't see even what system (Mac/PC, OS version) you're using.
If it's a Windows system I'd suggest because OpenGL is implicated ("OGL") you have a display driver problem (which may be corrected by downloading a new driver from the maker of your video card).
It's also possible you have a plug-in that's incompletely installed.
With a little more detailed info about your system someone will probably be able to make more specific suggestions.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended 64-Bit GPU Acceleration Stopped Working
I've been using Photoshop CS6 Extended 64-bit when one day the GPU acceleration features stopped working. I closed the application and restarted it and the GPU acceleration still didn't work. I couldn't rotate the canvas or use scrubby zoom. I rebooted my system and it still wasn't working. I check my performance preferences and my graphics processor was detected with the "Use Graphics Processor" box checked. I unchecked it and rechecked but the GPU acceleration still wasn't working. I uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it. I got the GPU acceleration to work opening the application right after the install. I close Photoshop CS6 64-bit and reopened it and the GPU acceleration wasn't working again. I am able to use GPU acceleration features in Photoshop CS6 32-bit with no problem. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Ultimate Edition and I have a GeForce 280m GTX GPU. Would there be anyone out there who can help me with this issue. Thanks.
From what I gathered on this Forum there is a good chance that it may be related to the driver – unfortunately it could be either becasuse it’s obsolete or a bad new version.

Interworking between Lightroom 5.7 64 bit and Photoshop CS6 extended 64 bit (Raw update 8.7)
I have recently upgraded my Lightroom 5.6 to 5.7 and my Photoshop CS6 extended 64 bit to Raw Update 8.7. Since this update my Image Edit process going from Lightroom to Photoshop is no longer seamless. Right clicking on the image and selecting "edit in Adobe Photoshop CS6" eventually returns an error message "The file could not be Edited because Adobe Photoshop could not be Launched" after about 2 minutes. At this point the image opens in Photoshop

I installed photoshop cs 6 extended I did have photoshop cs 6 installed and when I right clicked on a photo I had the option to edit it in PS but now I have installed extended its not in the options or in the programs also the update is greyed out

I can no longer use 3D commands in Photoshop CS6 Extended
I have Photoshop CS6 Extended (Ver 13.0.1x64). My desktop is Windows 7 64 Home premium; and Video card is: AMD Radeon HD 5570. The drivers and operating system is updated.
I have been using simple 3D functions like "New 3D extrusion from..." from time to time without any problems until recently. For unknown reasons now when I try to invoke any 3D command, I get the following message: " Could not complete the "New 3D extrusion from selected layer command because of a program error." This ,message gets repeated for any 3D command.
I checked out 3D functionality in Photoshop CS6 32 bit; and Photoshop CS5.5 Extended. Same problem. However, I can access and use all 3D functions in Illustrator CS6. Clearly, therefore, the video card is not the problem. It looks like one of the recent software updates from Adobe must have caused this problem.

Hello folks how do you do? Well, I'm experiencing a problem using the 'Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended'. In general the 3D feature doesn't really show up in my screen. What can I do? Please some one?

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error.
When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

J. J. PattersonDid you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

The 3D Features doesn't work on my Photoshop CS6 extended.
Hi,
I am using Adobe CS6 extended. I can't use my 3d features on creating objects but it can work with creating 3d font text.
When I select the object, the 3D Properties are unable to click on any function
May I know what is the problem? Is there any requirement hardware for my computer to run on 3d features?

Tested video cards for Photoshop CS6
Adobe tested the following video cards before the release of Photoshop CS6. This document lists the video card by series. The minimum amount of RAM supported on video cards for Photoshop CS6 is 256 MB. Photoshop 13.1 cannot display 3D features if you have less than 512 MB of VRAM on your video card.
Important: This document is updated as newly released cards are tested. However, Adobe cannot test all cards in a timely manner. If a video card is not listed here, but was released after May 2012, you can assume that the card will work with Photoshop CS6.
Adobe tested laptop and desktop versions of the following cards. Be sure to download the latest driver for your specific model. (Laptop and desktop versions have slightly different names.)

How to Force Enable 3D Menu Contents in PhotoShop CS6 Extended
Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

Photoshop CS6 Extended 3D Problem
I have reloaded Photoshop 3D Extended 6 times having removed every trace of ADOBE out of my registry, in order to try and get the 3D section to load - to no avail. I have tried everything I can but nothing seems to work ( I am a beginner) for me. Details of my machine are as follows:-

Do you have a subscription or Photoshop Extended license?
The 3D features are only available in CS6 Extended. -
No 3D options on Windows 8 in Photoshop CS6 Extended!
Hello everyone! Recently, I have installed Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended trial from Adobe.com (Yeah, I am sure it was the EXTENDED version). In the setup it says that it is installing ”Photoshop CS6 Extended” and I could saw that yellow leaves -or what that is- girl in the image. But everytime I open the program, it says only ”Adobe Photoshop CS6”, I have no 3D options displayed and if I go to About Photoshop, it says that it is only ”Adobe Photoshop CS6 (not EXTENDED-as I could see on some youtube videos)”! So, what is the problem? I have a 32-bit system and Windows 8 Release Preview installed. I read that XP does not support 3D, but about Windows 8... Or, it does not support 32-bit systems, it only support 64-bit systems??? What should I do? Thank you in advance!

You may even want to check how the other GPU features work on this video card. It is at the minimum requirement for Ps CS6, and given the age of this card it may not be supported.
The minimum required GPU must have 512 MB VRAM for Ps CS6 Extended. We have some cases for GPU with 256-512MB where the 3D menu items aren't disabled, but problems may still occur. The suggested VRAM is 1GB or higher for 3D the feature set.

Missing 3d tools in Photoshop CS6 extended
Hi everyone, I thought that I would seek help here before I endure the agony of Adobe technical help. I just installed the upgrade to CS6 Design and Web Premium yesterday. Received my email for the free upgrade yesterday morning and all went fine for the download and install as far as I can tell.
Both the flash screen as well as the about Photoshop screen show CS6 extended, yet I have no 3D tools at all, either in the menu or toolbar. This is the case both with my laptop and desktop.
I have the latest drivers for my video cards and "use graphic processor" is checked in preferences. Am I just being stupid and missing something (entirely possible), or does anyone had a similar problem or any suggestions.

How do I get the trial version for Photoshop CS6 extended from the Creative Cloud Trial

Plz I wanted to downlad the trial version of Photoshop CS6 Extended and I followed this link

Then I chose this option : Option 2: Join Creative Cloud and download now (Recommended - it's free)
Then the adobe application manager has been installed and the photoshop CS6 started to be installed automaticaaly and after it done , I found it the standard version not the Extended ... So how and where can I get the Extended version for both 32 bit and 64 bit?

Thank you ....So if you download the trial from the trial page at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop you get Photoshop CS6 Extended. When you then remove the trial and reinstall from the Adobe Application Manager with your trial Creative Cloud you only see the Standard version?
If this is so you can try reviewing your installation logs by following the steps listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html. Although your 30 day trial has already begun. I would recommend for now you just remove the installation and install from the trial page so that you can try the extended features.
