Photoshop 9 to Revel

I had LOTS of albums stored in Photoshop 9, but only a few have automatically transferred to Revel.  How do I find the rest or transfer them over?

If you did not have files on photoshop.com, then your revel files did not migrate and  thos e found in revel were not imported from Elements 9 since that does not communicate with Revel. They were either uploaded directly or you had somehow managed to get some from Elements 9 to Photoshop.com that migrated.
Elements 9 does not directly communicate with Revel. You can, however, upload all of the files (of appropriate types) to revel via Adoberevel.com on a browser if you like. You can also use one of the apps on Mac or Win8 or iOS devices if you user them.
If you want, you can upgrade to Elements 12 and the elements organizer that comes with it (adobe purchase, not aple store). You can import your old organizer information to the new one and turn all or some of your albums into mobile albums, so that they will be in both revel and elements organizer. This way they can stay in sync.

  • Photo's not syncing between Elements 12 and Photoshop Touch ------ revel or creative cloud - very confusing

I have photoshop elements 12 (updated to 12.1) And i use Photoshop Touch (version 1.6.1) for my Galaxy tab, (which is stock - un-rooted)
I know when i first installed it, any photos i dragged into mobile albums showed up in my Photoshop Touch app.
Now something seems to have changed. The app only has import images via local/creative cloud/camera/google/facebook.
I know Elements 12 is uploading them to Revel, because i can see them online in my Revel Account.
I've installed the Revel app to my tab, and the photos are there.
So if the photos are in the cloud and my Revel app see's them, why are they not showing up in my Photoshop app.
And why is there a creative cloud import option, but no revel import option.
Can someone explain the difference between CreativeCloud and Revel....
All i want to do is edit a few images every now and then on my Tab. but PLEASE how do i get it working again?

If I remember correctly, Revel is a different service than Creative Cloud, hence the confusion. And if I also remember, Revel was around before Creative Cloud and PS Touch. Revel seemed more or less to be aimed at consumers whereas Creative Cloud is more or less aimed at professionals.
Creative Cloud is free (up to 2 GB; most of the Creative Cloud subs provide an additional 18 GB for a total of 20 GB).

  • Help, Photoshop to revel

i received the following email last year but it went in my spam so I missed it. originally we had adobe 3.2 starter edition but it was updated in 2010.
The photos were held on a laptop which is broken but we backed up onto a hard drive. we now have a new laptop but can't retrieve the photos.
What can I do to retrieve them? I'm beside myself as they are all my family pictures including baby to first day at school.
    Dear Customer,
This is a friendly reminder that on 18 June, 2013, Photoshop.com storage and sharing services will close and your assets will no longer be accessible. We offer a similar service - Adobe® Revel™- and we'd be happy to move your account to Revel.
It's easy – we just need you to do a few things:
Please confirm that you'd like us to move your JPEG photosand your account to Adobe Revel.
If your library contains file formats other than JPEG photos, please be sure to download your complete Photoshop.com library before 18 June, 2013, as Revel doesn't yet support the following file types – any video, PSD, RAW, ACR, PNG, TIFF. Archive now.
If you choose not to have us move your photos, please be sure to download your complete library before 18 June, 2013. Archive now.
We are committed to supporting you throughout this transition to a new technology – Adobe Revel. Currently, Revel gives you more access to your photos than ever before – on the web, iPhone, iPad and Mac. And this is just the beginning – we are planning to support additional platforms, as well as, popular file formats beyond JPEG and video. We are committed to delivering frequent Revel updates and to continually pushing the envelope to create the best experience for reliving your memories wherever you are.

  • Photoshop to Revel

If I moved my photos from photoshop, how do i find them on revel?

IF you photos migrated, then you login the same way you did in Photoshop.com. Same email (adobe id) and password.

  • Photoshop Mix Revel Integration

    Hi,
I have just downloaded Mix and as a Photoshop user since the mid-90s, I think it's amazing that this can be done on mobile devices. Brilliant Work!
Great integration also (even import and save to dropbox).... But wait a second.... not to Adobe Revel? Your own Cloud based Photo Storage solution?
This a shame as many Adobe users store their photos here (including my 20Gb).
Is there any plans to introduce integration or will the development be more on the Revel side to link this in more with Creative Cloud?
    Many Thanks
    Selondon

    HI Selondon,
Thanks for your message and your continued trust in our products and services.
We currently do not have any plans to integrate Revel into PS Mix but will keep this on our radar for the future. We know that the Revel team is looking into more integration options with Creative Cloud, specifically Creative Cloud-Photos and will look into making those options available in time.
    Thanks again,

  • Pictures have not all transferred to Revel although the message says the move is complete

I received a message saying that the move from Photoshop to Revel is complete.  There are 173 of my most recent jpg pictures, dated from July, 2012 - March, 2013 that have not been moved. It looks like these pictures were not automatically backed up and synct the way they should have been by Photoshop. How can I get these pictures moved to Revel?

Export photos from Elements 11 to Adobe Revel
You can export photos to a library in Adobe Revel from Elements Organizer.
In Elements Organizer, select the photos you want to export. Select File > Export To Adobe Revel or click the Share tab and click Adobe Revel.
Select the library from the Export To drop-down list and click Export.
Note:All exported images are converted to .Jpeg file format.
    Export to library
A message is displayed confirming the number of media exported successfully. Click OK.
You can Sign Out from the Import/Export workflow and sign in as a different user, if required. Click on triangle next to the Welcome, [Username] and click Sign Out.

  • *BUG* in LR 4.4 -- Movie & captured frame can't be same name

    *BUG* !!! in LR 4.4
I have a folder of .29 short .avi movies from my VADO HD. I captured a jpg from the first 11 of the movie clips as I set the *Poster Frame*. They were all named and in sequence, and the jpgs remain as they were in the Win8 explorer folder.
In LR 4.4 the captured jpgs are GONE from the catalog (all but one that was a different name than the .avi file). And they will NOT come back, become visible, when I *Synchronize Folder*.
Because the only visible captured jpg was a different name than the the .avi file I renamed another jpg in Win8 explorer. This renamed file then came into LR 4.4 with a *Folder Synchronize*.
Conclusion - captured jpgs with the same name as the movie file aren't being seen by LR 4.4. Renaming will restore them.
Going to try to find the place to enter bug reports.
Hope this is the right place.  :-)

Thanks but the English language is way to vague.
*This* forum (I'm three or more levels in),   *Main* page (Community?, Lightroom?  Adobe?), Not on top, not on side, not on bottom of any pages I looked at. Is it a link with words?  A Button?  An Icon?  Where ??? is this link in a mult-level web?  No joy!
Ask the question - *How do I make a bug report"*   No joy!
    But thanks anyway!  :-)
I did get a link form a flickr group to a photoshop.com / Revel forum that says it is also a bug report place.  Put it there.  Don't have anymore hours to search trying to help a community with a *simple* issue..

  • Trouble finding files

I let 3 or 4 albums from Photoshop.com to transfer (by default/do nothing) to Revel.com.
Aside from that, I put an album (1308WI) with 34 photos up on Revel.com.
When logging on to Revel, I expected to see the old albums and the new one.
    The newly-uploaded 1308WI photos appear (URL=https://www.adoberevel.com... (not photoshop.com))
It was said that I could see the old albums by logging on to Revel
and hitting the 3-bar icon in the upper left
    and then choosing "photoshop.com library".
When I do that, the screen blinks but I get nothing
(it stays on my subsequently-uploaded 34 file album=1308WI).
I can't find the 3 or 4 Albums that should have migrated from Photoshop to Revel.
I did not opt out of the migration.  Email said if I did nothing, they would transfer, so I did nothing.
I believe I always used the current account. If otherwise, is there a way to find it?
My albums were uploaded from a PC directory, apart from Ele.Organizer.  If I still needed the sync, how can I find out if it was or was not sync'd?

I am having trouble tracking your posts in the forum since they are all separated. For your reference, this post is at
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5719544#5719544
You can go to that link anytime to see and reply to this thread to keep the messages together.
Please start by going into a browser, logging in using the email you use for this forum, and clicking on the 3 parallel lines on the top left of the screen to get your album listing... select photoshop.com library.
Click on photos tab in the top middle of the screen.
Do you see the photos there that you are looking for? Because of the library name, I am assuming these are the ones that migrated.

Only files in Photoshop.com were migrated so if you did not have files there then nothing would migrate to Revel.

  • Need phone support

I am so frustrated with Elements 12, Revel, the migration from photoshop, etc.  My pictures are an absolute mess since I was migrated from photoshop to revel. Now I have lost all my tags on my pictures, I have duplicate pictures in my organizer, I cannot share the mobile albums, and I cannot find a phone number to call support so that I can find out why I am having so many problems.  Is there a phone number somewhere that I am not seeing?

"Why cant they give us instant gratification with a live person on the phone?"
    They can.
    They choose not to.

  • How can I attach a photo to an email, using Photoshop Elements9,without going through the Revel cloud

How can I attach a photo to an email using Photoshop Elements 9, without going through the Adobe Revel cloud?

    Adobe user wrote:
I'm using Windows 7.  I have no email clients.
You don't need an Email client nor Adobe Revel account to send email and photos as attachment.  All you need is an email account (could be free web-based account such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL or whatever including from your own ISP.  And of course an Internet Connection.
Now the most obvious requirement is out of the way so you need to go in to your Organizer and click on Share button and choose Photomail. Select the photo you want to send and follow the instructions that are on your screen.
You also need to request an Adobe Verification Code to enable you to use Adobe's Mail Servers to send the photos for you.  To do this go to:
    Edit >> Preferences>> Sharing
Look for something like this and fill out the red boxes where indicated (click on this image to see it clearly).
    Hope this gets you started.

  • EXPRESS: Why no raw support in Photoshop express from Revel?

We just got back from a trip to Disneyland and I shot over 800 photos in raw format on my Canon camera. I uploaded the images using my iPad to Revel each night and tonight I am home and I opened Photoshop Express so I could send some photos to Walgreens and I see thumbnails of my images from Revel in PSE but when I try to open one, I get an error that Photoshop Express cannot open this file. I dug around some before I found a message from Patti on the forums that says that PSE does not support Raw Files. Come on guys, I am a premium subscriber and I have Raw support in Revel and yet PSE which has more editing options won't support the files. I wanted to tweak some and upload to walgreens to print and it's easier to do it from PSE than to have to use the camera roll and then Walgreens app. I also wanted to upload some to to Flickr which PSE support and Revel used to support but no longer does. What is going on Adobe? Why are all the cloud products so fragmented? I'm starting to consider just storing images on my NAS and using other apps to accomplish the tasks from my iPad because your cloud services are not making this easier.

But InDesign has it as well and I think this is like the craziest omission I can think of and they have made some serious ones in the past.
Hopefully the next version all the apps will have it and that in case there are any problems it will be done in the way so that it will not cause any unforeseen difficulties.
thanks for the answer David. Good you can find a little time to visit here as with this thread we all guess and you know better.
