Die oben beschriebene Funktion führt bei mir zur Microsoft Outlook-Meldung:
"Der Vorgang konnte wegen Netz- oder Kommunikationsproblemen nicht ausgeführt werden ..."
Danach bricht die Funktion ab.
Wer weiß Rat ?

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, daß du PSE installiert hast, während eine
Antivirus Software fonctioniert hat? Vielleicht hat sie etwas behindert.

Update to Photoshop Album SE3 from 2 and now cannot email

My daughter uses Photoshop Album Starter Ablum to send photos to friends. Everything worked fine until she updated to 3. Now she is unable to send pictures by email. She uses AOL. The popup comes up and says to set email client to outlook. In the preferences for SE 3 she has her email set to AOL. What could have happened going from 2 to 3.

Hi Bill, There seems to be some problem with your preference settings. Delete your preferences by deleting the psa.prf file located at <C:\Documents and Settings\<Login name>\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Album\3.0> and then set the client as AOL in the Email preferences.Try if that works. Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0.

Is anyone ever experience the problem to send/ register to adobe product registration?
I just got my new notebook, and this Photoshop Album SE 3.0 have been installed on the program files.
I have been trying to send the product/ register to adobe registration (which they request to make me able to continue using the program), but it keep says "internet send failed".
It's nothing wrong with my internet connection because I have been browsing around all the time, but I never able to send the registration.
Now, I only have 7 times left to be able to use this program without register.
PLEASE HELP ME. I need to be able to use this program everyday... and I am frustated.

Hi, Seems like your prefernces got corrupted. Tried to use adobe photoshop album starter edition 3.0 today and tell me to register

It tells me to register and i will get an email with a 'unlock' code shortly.
I open the email, it says' adobe photoshop album starter edition is no longer avaiable and that i should go to their website and find something else appropriate! I JUST WANT MY PHOTOS OFF ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ALBUM STARTER EDITION that i have already got but it wont let me in at all! i have heaps of photos of my kids as babies and all house and family stuff! It is a common misconception that Starter Edition 'stores', or copies, your files into it. But the program does not move or copy files at all, rather it scans your system's My Pictures directory, and generates miniature versions of your pictures (called thumbnails) so that you can browse a 'flat' list of thumbnails of your photos, overcoming the inconvenience of having to go into separate folders in Windows Explorer to have to find files.The thumbnails, as well as any tags, and Albums that you create in Starter Edition are all stored in the Photoshop Album catalog file, separate from your pictures, and your pictures remain where you originally copied them to your computer.
If you use Photoshop Album to subsequently download files from a digital camera or scanner, the default location where the program will create those files would be in the My Pictures>Digital Camera Photos folder. But if you do NOT use Photoshop Album Starter edition to download files from your camera, then you will find that folder empty.
The thumbnails in the Starter Edition catalog will exist, even if you decide to move or delete the original photos that were added to the program. This will cause files in the Photoshop Album catalog to become 'disconnected' from the original photos. To reconnect the files, you can use the File>Reconnect Missing files command to see if the program can locate the original files in a new location, and once again re-link the catalog thumbnails to the files they once referenced.
Since Photoshop Album has been discontinued, I recommend that folks find an alternative solution. One alternative that will preserve most of what you've created in Starter Edition is the Photoshop Elements 8 trial. Install that, and it will automatically convert the Photoshop Album catalog to a current format, and the program will not time out, as Starter Edition did. If you want to purchase more Editing power, you can also choose to purchase the full program, but it's not required.
If you are like many who have come to this forum wondering how you can get to your photos, now that the program has become locked or expired, don't worry; your photos have never been moved by Photoshop Album; they remain wherever you intially put them, on your hard drive. To get to them, you can navigate your file system using Windows Explorer. They are typically in your My Documents>My Pictures folder. Lost Photos in Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2

My email stated that my photos were transfered to Revel. Only one photo switched. The rest are stuck at Adobe Photoshop Album starter edition 3.2. I can see my photos are sitting there but are stuck behind the product registeration looking for a product unlock code. This product stopped being supported in 2009. So, I have no unlock code. I was able to access my photos in the beginning of May but now that it transfered to Revel, they are being held hostage.

Files were only copied from Photoshop.com to Revel, not from any other place. You may try this link to see if you can unlock your other files, and then you can upload them to Revel from your hard drive:

Unable to register Photoshop Album Starter 3.2 via Cable

Hi,
Have tried to register 3.2 just abt all day today. I have a cable connection and have tried while on-line and off-line. Msg is the same: Internet send failed.
I tried the continuous clicking for 10 mins straight, to no avail.
Can't find my disc grandson used to install program so was unable to give the serial # when I called Adobe. It appears that their help centre is in India. Is the # at the end of the license the # I need?

All Adobe Products Included: I have tried to ...Download readers, Install my purchased products, Find my Adobe files I backed up...Register Products, Sign In, Fast Adobe Connect, Adobe Online, Adobe.com and here is the only place I can manage to be and the only Feature of Adobe I can use as far as Adobe goes...I've only been able to use Acrobat 6.0 for the past year all because my Adobe download (resume getR/ Plus) Adobe 9 Reader can not install ,software doesn't work. My Internt connection sees Adobe as a virus or something. I can't create documents, open any thing but the pdf file that I miraculously got from the internet last week. I try to Update to a newer version and just abt ready at 99% the windowsxp pop up warning says it's not a valid win32 program...Isn't that just Adobe-rable? Well I don't care if anyone reads this or not because I've nowhere to go with my Adobe products problems. I tried to insert a code for Adobe photoshop album 2 Starter Edition with the code I got in the email from Adobe Inc. just a few minutes ago...more like an hour...and guess what happen...right nothing. The code did not allow me the option to click the UNLOCK NOW button . ANYBODY Know what's up with that? Oh, one more thing... In my old acrobat 6.01 version,(nice to look at and be able to view all the unallowed properties) the Update option is useless. Nothing seems to work together! And yes, I have the latest Anti-virus software updates installed...the "purchased Full versions of it" I am tired and somewhat weakened by my trials and errors with usage of Adobe....and there is no solution anywhere that doesn't suggest a scan of my drive, to which (ain't goin' there) again.

Importing tags from Photoshop Album to Photoshop Elements 5

I have had Photoshop Album 2.0.2 for several years and it currently holds the information of 13000+ tagged items. I have a detailed tagging system set up which I don't want to lose. I also have Photoshop Elements 5 and having just discovered that Photoshop Album is now discontinued I wanted to transfer my existing information into Elements.
I have spent some time trying varies options but cannot find the solution I want.
If I select a photo from file to import into Elements then the tagging information does not come with it.
If I export an image from Album to desktop and then import it into Elements no tags come with it.
If I email a photo from Album to myself then import that image it does come with the tags into Elements.
Obviously I can't email all 13000 images to myself to import them but can someone suggest how I can transfer this data - obviously the photos themselves don't need to move as both programmes only keep a link to the original location to the photos.
I'm not interested in using the online storage system but wonder if one solution might be to upload all my phots to that temporarily then reimport them to Elements.
Additionally is it possible to import my current tag structure rather than have imported tags all appearing under a 'imported tags' tag.
Any help grately appreciated.

Thank you so much it worked - the only thing that didn't transfer was the folder pics I'd chosen for the tags so that didn't take long to redo - many thanks - I'd never have found that. It would have been so much more obvious if it showed 'open' or 'select catalogue' rather than just the word 'catalogue' with no other options visible from the dropdown menu.

ich wollte mal fragen, ob mir jemand Infos geben kann, was an dem Organizer in Photoshop Elements 3 anders/besser ist als Photoshop Album 2.

Also: PSE 3 ist insgesamt "flüssiger" als PA 2 was die Oranisation von Bildern anbetrifft; demgemäß: Empfehlenswert. Aber: PDF Diashows, ggf. mit Musik, kannst du mit PSE 3 nicht mehr erstellen. Ich finde das überaus eigentümlich! Und aus diesem Grund habe ich also neben PSE 3 auch noch PA 2 laufen, nur um diese Diashows weiterhin erzeugen zu können. Echt beknackt!!! Die Möglichkeit der Erzeugung von Versionsstapeln und allgemeien Fotostapeln ist schon sehr ordentlich, und die Abfrage, nachdem ein Foto bearbeitet wurde, wie und wo es den nun gespeichert werden soll, ist in PSE 3 auch bedeutend besser, nachgerade komfortabel, geworden als in PA 2. Wenn Du also auf PSE 3 umstellen willst: Tu es! Wenn Du allerdings so wie ich auf diese pdf Diashows (im Albummodus) "scharf" bist, dann laß es besser mit der Umstellung oder du mußt es wie ich parallel laufen lassen, was allerdings kein Problem ist, denn PSE 3 und PA 2 speichern ihre Kataloge an unterschiedlichen Stellen, sodaß sich die Kataloge nicht ins Gehege kommen. Mein PA 2 Katalog ist vollkommen leer. Ich lade dort nur die Bilder, die ich in einer Diashow präsentieren will, und lösche sie anschließend wieder aus dem Katalog, bis ich die nächste Show erstelle. Berichte doch gelengentlich mal von Deinen Erfahrungen. ([email protected])

Photoshop Album 3.0 Bilder speichern

Hallo zusammen, wer bitte kann mir helfen:?? Ich finde nirgendswo die Information, in welcher Datei Photoshop Album die Fotos abspeichert, da es auch keine "Speichern unter.." Option gibt. Ich möchte das jeweils bearbeitete Album irgendwo sichern (andere Festplatte, USB Stick etc.) und immer wieder reinladen können, wenn's mal gecrasht hat, wäre ja sonst alles weg!!

Im Prinzip ja. Es gibt auch eine kostenfreie Version: "Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0". Das ist aber eine reine Album oder auch Organizer Version mit eingeschränkten Funktionen. Ob da das Brennen etc möglich ist weiß ich nicht; vermutlich nicht.
Das "Album" ist keine Version. PSE 3.0 und 4.0 besteht imPrinzip aus zwei Teilen oder auch Prgrammen. Dem Album, in der PSE Terminologie auch "Organizer" genannt, sowie dem Editor, also demjenigen Programm was dann die eigentliche Bildbearbeitung vornimmt. Beide Programme sind durchaus auch separat zu starten. Sie gehen allerdings sehr eng Hand in Hand sozusagen. Man sucht und betrachtet die Fotos im Organizer um sie dann ggf. an den Editor zu übergeben, der dann die mehr oder weniger gewünschten Änderungen vornimmt, und anschließend diese Änderungen als eine neue, zusätzliche Datei als sog. "Versionssatz" dann wieder im Organzer, also dem Album, abspeichert; im großen und ganzen. Anders formuliert: "Bildbetrachter" und "Bildbearbeitungsprogramm" sind hier zwar absolut getrennt voneinander, aber dennoch sehr eng miteinander verbunden. Die Übergaben von dem einen zum anderen Programm und auch wieder rückwärts gestalten sich gerade in PSE 4.0 als sehr flüssig. Man muß sich hier allerdings unbedingt mit der für dieses Programm typischen Denkweise vertraut machen, sonst erleidet man Schiffbruch. Z.B. sollte man, wenn es um das Umbenennen oder verschieben von Dateien geht, dies generell nur noch über den Organizer machen. Der Explorer sollte dann Tabu sein, andernfalls kommt Murks heraus!!!

Thansfer adobe photoshop album starter 3.2 photos to element 8.0

I've had adobe photoshop album starter 3.2 since I've had my computer. All my family photos are stored there. This morning after uploading photos the program kept closing. I clicked on the register and an email was sent to me telling me that as of July 2009 I can no longer get a unlock pin to open the program. I've been using the program with no problems until this morning. I called adobe and was told I need to upgrade to elements 8.0. I asked if I purchase the upgrade will my photos load to the new version? I was told yes. I ordered the disk and in the meantime downloaded the trial version until the new program disk arrives. Once loaded, the photos didn't load, nor was I able to manually load the photos from 3.2 to 8.0. I called adobe again and was instructed to now send this message to you.
Please help me to either "unlock" or instruct me how to obtain the photos from 3.2. I was very happy with the original version and have hundreds of family photos which I now fear I may loose. I'm frantic right now and need a solution. My photos mean the world to me and my family.

I need to transfer photos from one computer to another and have been searching in vain exactly where the tag information is stored. I have used Album starter for at least 5 years and currently have 3.0 on my old PC. I have downloaded and installed 3.2 on the new PC and was planning on updating to Elements once I get the photos (and tags) migrated.

Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 with AOL desktop (AOL 10)

I have fully patched XP SP2
AOL 10 as default email client
Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2, registered and unlocked.
When setting pref for email client within Adobe PSE, AOL is not listed as an email option. I have reinstalled Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2, and unlocked, reinstalled AOL 10 (desktop) and reset it as the default email client. The default is working, as mailto: links in browsers open up AOL Desktop, and the email app listed at the top of the <START> button is AOL. How can I set it as an email client in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2? Is there some registry hack? Interference with another app?

Re 3.2 Photoshop. After I had some repair done to my computer, the photos in my album have the restricted little red square at the bottom of each photo. When I try to open the photo to fix or print a message box comes on that nothing can be done because of overide problem. In fact it closes the photoshop immediately because of this error. Is there anything I can do? - if I search the Browse button I get absolutely no connection or a march. This is most frustrating. I tried calling tech assistance, they could not help me infact hung up on me. What sort of helpfull assistance is that? Should there be any helpfull suggestions, other than uninstalling (Have done that) and reinstalling (done that) nothing seems to work. I cannot even copy those photos to a disk, the photoshop closes down immediately. Help. Donna

Soy un poco negada para esto de la informatica, pero aun asi aki estoy...
El caso es que tengo mvl nuevo (sony ericsson k610i), y he instalado en mi pc este programa: "adobe photoshop album starter edition 3.0".
Hasta aqui todo bien, pero el problema viene kuando lo abro, y veo que esta en ingles, y no tengo ni idea de como manejarlo.
Por favor echadme una manita xfiii, explicadme como funciona, porque no tengo ni la mas minima idea.

Por favor a quien corresponda, guarde todas las fotos de mi camara digital en Adobe photoshop starter edition 3.0 y ahora me pide topdo el tiempo la registracion sino no las deja ver. Photoshop Album has been discontinued. You should either upgrade to Photshop Elements, which has an Organizer that will
preserve any tags you've added to your photos, or simply uninstall the program, and go back to accessing your files in your Windows folders. Photoshop Album did not move your files from their original location, so you can uninstall Starter Edition without losing photo files.

We have some images stored in Photoshop Album Starter edition 3.2. When we now try to open the photos, we are told to register us for an unlocking code, which we never get. I have also tried to call Adobe support, but they could not help us with this because this program does not longer exists. And then support told us to go to this forum for further assistance. Photoshop album starter edition 3.2 and kodak camera

I have a kodak m753 digital camera and adobe photoshop album starter edition 3.2 says device not found. how do i get it to recognize the camera without deleting the kodak software. I have windows xp if that helps.

the camera is attached using a usb cable. windows explorer? do you mean internet explorer? i can look at the pictures in the kodak software it recognizes the camera but adobe doesn't. In order to get the pictures into adobe takes jumping through hoops. I prefer to use adobe because it is easier to get photos into emails etc. I just can't get them from the camera to adobe directly. I think the kodak software overrides adobe. Even if i shut down the kodak software adobe will not recognize that i have a camera connected to the computer. When i look in the folder called cameras and scanners it too doesn't list the camera. when i tried installing the camera it allways asks for the disc (which includes the kodak software)
