Photoshop app disappeared

I have been using cs5 for months. This morning when I went to use the app, it had disappeared from my computer, a mac 10.6.8 os. The icon disappeared from the dock and so did the entire program. I have done a search and it is gone. Is this a known bug? Do I have gremlins in my house or computer?

That is a first. Any significant changes/ updates you've made to your computer recently?
Can you check within 'Applications' folder on your Mac to see if Photoshop exists there?
Was there an update that was made to your Photoshop from Adobe Updates recently?
If you have any .PSD files on your computer, can you try opening them? See if they open up Photoshop?

Non-factory Apps Disappearing Randomly After Upgrade to iOS 5.1

Hi all, I've had my iPad 2 for about 9 months. Since upgrading to iOS 5.1, on two separate occasions, I've had all but the factory apps disappear from my iPad. This happened randomly during the day, not during or immediately following a sync. My most recent sync for my iPad was on 3/14, 6 days ago. I had been using my iPad throughout the day, then unlocked it this evening and everything is gone except the factory apps, i.e. FaceTime, Messages, Reminders, etc. All my media is still there, and all my settings are unchanged (email accounts still working fine, movies still there in the Videos app), but all downloaded apps are gone. No games, none of my work apps, nothing. This is the second time this has happened since I upgraded to iOS 5.1 about 2 weeks ago. First time was the day after. Last time I did a full wipe and restore, hoping it was a one time glitch. I've done some searching, and the only other instances of people's apps disappearing that I've been able to find were related to syncing. I have the latest iTunes, all software is patched and up to date. I have syncing via WiFi disabled, as well, it only syncs via cable plugged into my home PC.
Hoping someone else has seen this or has some idea.
(My battery life is significantly reduced after the iOS upgrade as well, with no changes to settings or new apps. I get a day or two of light use before I'm down to 10%. I was at 30% in the morning when I put it in my bag, and it was dead when I took it out later that afternoon. I used to get a good week between charges.)

If it's a first gen iPad, which I assume that it is if you've updated to iOS 5.1.1 as other models update to iOS 6+, then it doesn't have a camera on it and therefore doesn't have Camera or FaceTime apps.

I am now using a different MacBook Pro, and want to install my CC, I have done that and downloaded the Photoshop App but its a trial version. How do I get the full version of the apps?

I had a new MacBook Pro that was damaged and I am now using a different MacBook pro as my primary computer (running yosemite 10.10.1).
I did uninstall the Creative Cloud off the old MacBook before I stopped using it.
I have downloaded the Creative Cloud and signed in using my adobe username and password, but when I went to download the Photoshop App it is only giving me the TRIAL VERSION.
How do I make sure that the apps are the full version that I have already paid for? (I do know that my subscription is still current)

Shawn I would recommend utilizing the steps in Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html to resolve the connection error which is likely preventing the software from authenticating.

How to restore a deleted built-in app (Maps)? App disappeared: IOS 4 & 3GS

Does anyone know how to restore a deleted built-in app?
In my case the Maps app disappeared. According to other posts in this forum you cannot delete a built-in app such as Maps but it has happened on my iPhone 3GS.
I'm running IOS 4.

If you are unable to locate the Maps app you can still access it from the Spotlight search window. Just type in Maps, look for the familiar interstate 280 icon, tap there and you will enter the Maps app. This will work for you until you can locate the icon, which hopefully you will.

Address Book app disappeared; how can I reinstall it?

Out of the blue, my Address Book app disappeared. The icon in the Dock has a question mark on it, and the application itself is no longer in my Applications folder, or anywhere on the drive. Even stranger, it's not in any of my Time Machine backups, even though it was working and present until yesterday.
Mind you, I'm not talking about the data. it's that the app itself is gone. Interestingly, my email still seems to act as if the Address Book contact information is still present. But if I select an address in an email "from" field, for example, and say "Open in Address Book," nothing happens.
Now here's an even weirder part. I also have a recent backup of my Apple Mail and Address Book using Email Backup Pro. After seeing that the Address Book app seems to have also disappeared from my Time Machine backups, I opened Email backup Pro and did a restore of my Address Book. The program reported that the Address Book was successfully restored, but nothing changed -- the Address Book app was still nowhere to be found. I've done this twice.
I also have my Address Book data on my iPod Touch (thankfully). Synching does nothing -- nothing changes on the iPod or on the hard disk, in terms of Address Book.
I'm baffled. Although I'd like to know what caused this, my more immediate concern is to get a functioning Address Book installed again. I booted from the Snow Leopard disc, but could see no option to install just the Address Book.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I have downloaded photoshop elements but I cannot open it. I keep being asked for my Adobe sign in which I do and then the photoshop icon disappears from my side bar - I am on a mac. Please help!

I can't open this product, every time I try to it just asks for my adobe sign in and then when I log in the photoshop icon disappears and nothing opens. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the program but the same things happens.

I can't get my Photoshop app to open?

I've just downloaded the 30 day free trial for Photoshop app, and it downloaded fine. But when I went to open it it said I needed Jave runtime. It gave me an option to locate and download the software but then said it couldn't find the software and try again later. So instead I've downloaded Java 7 Update 67 for Mac from the Java website. I then went to try and open Photoshop again and the same message keeps coming up about needing java runtime. Please help. I just want to start using the photoshop!!

Log in to icloud.com on a web browser with your Apple ID and disable FMiP there.

My apps disappeared with the update of iOS7 on my iPhone 4.

I recently updated my phone with the new iOS7 software. I have an iPhone 4. Due to lack of available space on my iPhone, I had to restore it in order for the update to be successful. The problem I encountered though was that my apps disappeared. Only Facebook and Instagram didn't. So I tried to download again the missing apps, but whenever I go into the AppStore, next to those apps is only written "open" as if they were still on my phone. But yet they don't appear anywhere on my home screen and I can't update them or delete them.
I would like to delete them in order to be able to reload them properly, but I don't know how since they don't appear anywhere.

My purchased app disappeared in App Store but instead a new version is found with the same name and developer. It's Pocket Expense, my version is 4.5.1 and it has some issue now. What should I do? Delete the old and buy the new one? What happen to all my data?

I had send three emails to the developer and no response yet. They don't response and update. I had download the new free version and try to write a review but it kept pop up a message saying you have to download or purchase first before you write a review. So I can't write a review in the new version. I tried to write a review with the old version and it turned to US Music App Store And can't find the app.

See if this fixes things.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Apps disappearing

I've had an iPhone 4 for about a year. For the past several months, I've been having a problem with all of my apps disappearing. Some are games but I've paid for and installed others. They download fine and work fine but about once a week, all of the icons just disappear! If I go to the app store, I can install them again and some have the content/information but others don't. Any ideas or suggestions would be great;y appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have too many apps?
Those "dissapearing" apps don't even show on the spotlight search (spotlight = the first "page" at the left of the iOS "desktop").

When I went to reload my phone it gave the option of restoring with icloud or itunes so i chose itunes (assuming icloud would have many more bugs). Afterwards, I had no music and 6.6g of other.
What I did was go into itunes, clicked my iphone 4, and clicked on each of the top tabs (summery, info, apps, ringtones, music, etc.) and ensured I had them all clicked onto sync/selected playlist etc.As my phone restored, the 6.6g of other dropped to .99g of other.
Unfortunately, all my songs are gone but everything else seems to be in tact. I don't think there is any way around this issue for now with the new ios 5 update when syncing either an ipad or iphone. I have an ipad 2 but am going to hold off on updating it until apple gets the bugs sorted out because, I'm sure you will agree, getting the music back to where you want it to be is a total nightmare and takes ages to not only pick the right songs and artists to put on it, but also the ones that will fit correctly with the space, depending on the size you have.
