Photoshop archaeology -- when was the 1TB disk size limitation removed?

I've just joined a photo lab as IT manager. They are running a mixture of Photoshoop versions and have some horrible operational hacks to get around the 1TB drive size limiation in PS 7. We're a small shop and can't afford to upgrade all of our Photoshop licenses at once, so I want to start by upgrading everyone running a version that has the 1TB limitation.
Does anyone know in which version that limtation was lifted? I have looked at release notes for CS3 onward; have not been able to find release notes for CS and CS2.
TIA for any info.
Stu

I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but I would keep one or two "legacy" systems around, for plug-ins that won't run in more modern versions. You may also  want to do this to support legacy hardware.
I say this as I am planning a new hardware purchase to build such a "throwback" system - a couple of scanners and a Xaos Tools plug-in don't like the modern era.

  • When was the last time a program was run?

Experts, is there a way to know when was the last time a program was run (particularly, Z Program). We are trying to identify obsolete programs and avoid working on those programs that weren't touched for more than 3 years during our next upgrade. How can I find this? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
One way is to check TRDIR table(se11/se16) and display it. In the next screen once you will get 'Data Browser Table TRDIR' selection screen. There either you put the individual 'Z' program name in the 'Name' field & execute it or for all multiple entries execute it.
Once you execute it with the particular Z prog. name then you will get the required details like CDAT(Created on),UNAM(Last changed by),UDAT(Changed On),SDATE(Standard selection screen generation: Date),IDATE(Selection screen generation: Date) etc.
    Hope this can help you.

  • When was the last log in of user X?

    Hello!
I would like to know, whether it is posible to get the following information via tcodes e.g. SUIM:
<b>When was the last log in of user X?
Which transactions does the user use?</b>
    Thank you very much!
    regards
    Thom

    Hi
In SUIM u can find the user and the last logon along with date and time stamp
    and regarding the tcodes
There is no standard transaction. The information is available for configurable time periods using transaction ST05N but it is not organized to readily provide a report of users and transactions. Also the information available summarizes a user's use of a transaction. There will be one entry (with count data) per user per time period. Daily, weekly and monthly summaries can be created and they are stored for configurable durations.
The information is summarized into a cluster table called MONI based on the STAT files that are written in the file system and regularly refreshed. MONI cannot be queried via SE16 etc., but SAP delivers a number of function modules that retrieve data from these tables.
It is also possible to configure audit logging via SM19 and read the log files via SM20. This will provide more detail but it also introduces new file management issues and requires a change to system settings.
Reward me the points if useful

Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
Restart your Mac after freeing up disk space then check Stoage again.
Another way to view avialable space:
Control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop then click Get Info.
In the Get Info panel you'll see:  Available & Capacity
Again, make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.

  • When was the release date of iphone6..???

There are lot of rumours abt iphone 6,so I want to know when was the release date of iphone6,pls

That's all any of us know. Anyone who knows the date won't tell, and anyone who doesn't know can't tell. It's even quite likely that NO ONE knows, because the date will not be chosen until the beta testing has successfully dealt with all of the serious bugs.
Oh, and "Fall" means between the Autumnal Equinox on September 21 and the Winter Solstice around December 21. So you can be reasonably sure it will be between those dates. However, sometimes companies miss their own deadlines.

  • Trying to find out when was the object last referenced?

    Hi All,
Is there a way I can find out when was an object or all the objects in a schema were last referenced along with the time it was referenced (May be a standard code all_references as such)? Just want to find out if there are any dormant objects. Thanks for the help,
    Reddy

    Hello,
    No.
You can query user_dependencies and compare to all_objects, but this will only show you objects that have no direct dependencies. You will not be able to identify objects used only by e.g. shell scripts or a JAVA application.

  • What is the best way to re-install my apps data when changing the hard disk

My MacBook (120Gb disk) is finally full and I have ordered a 500Gb disk to replace it.
I am fine with changing over the disk but can anyone tell me the best way to reload all my apps and data from the present disk please?
I have a Time Machine backup on a Network disk, a copy of SuperDuper and also my original 10.5 OSX install disks.
    Thanks

Roger, since you have SuperDuper, I think the easiest thing to do would be to make a clone of your current hard drive to the new one when it arrives. You will need an external enclosure for the new drive; make sure it's formatted to Mac OS Extended (Journaled); Disk Utility will do this for you. Then connect that new drive via firewire or USB, and create the clone from your current drive using SuperDuper. Next, remove the internal drive from your Mac, insert the new drive and boot up. You can then place your older drive in the external enclosure to use for extra storage, though it won't be large enough to use as a cloned backup with SuperDuper.
    Good luck!

  • When can i see when was the last MRP had run?

    Hi All,
as per my understanding in MD03 we first run MRP & then we can see the list in MD04. so suppose now some MRP relevant parameters are changing then unless we run MD03 again , these changes wont reflect in MD04. is it correct?
now i want to see when was last MD03 was run, then where can i see this?
any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Anubhab.

    Hi Anubhab,
For MRP run there are several transactions usefull for bussiness requirement.( MD01, MD02, MD03,MD50 etc)
so when ever there is any change in MRP relevant parameter, entry in planning file will happen and it will be executed in next MRP run,
You can see the date and time of last MRP run in MD05.
    Hope it help you

  • Sleep Question when "Put the hard disk(s) to sleep" is unchecked

In the Energy Saver options, I unchecked the "Put the hard disks to sleep when possible" option ... what happens if I close the lid? Does that option get overridden and the hard drive goes to sleep?
Will I be safe to move my mbp around in my backpack when I travel? Or do I have to shut it down totally? I tried finding the answer but couldn't find a real response.
I just want to know if the laptop's drive stops spinning and I can move it around safely or if I should always turn off my mbp when I put it in my backpack. Thanks for any answers.
      Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    > what happens if I close the lid? Does that option get overridden and the hard drive goes to sleep?
Yes, it's over-ridden, the heads park and you can move it around happily
Make sure it does actually go to sleep and not hang up on some run-away (BootCamp) process or similar ... you can tell by the noise. If it's not silent within 10 seconds of the lid closing open it up again and check Activity Monitor.

  • When was the Query executed last time - SQ01

    Hi All,
We have an ECC 6.0 System running on Oracle and os is SUN OS . When i go to TCODE SQ01 i see
many queries. I need to know when were the Queries run on the system. Is there any way to figure
    this out.
    Any pointers would be helpful
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ershad Ahmed

Not by default. There are several ways:
    - You can use ST03N to find out which queries are executed (select a big timeframe)
    - you can enable auditing (SM19/SM20) and track "AQ*" programs
    - you can book an SLO service to find the exact number (http://service.sap.com/slo)

  • Time machine doesn't work because reads the wrong disk size

Time machine started insisting I had not enough space on the disk. Normally it would delete old backups and get on to it. But this time I kept getting the "disk full"or  "not enough space message" (do not remember witch one). So I formatted the disk, many times. The message stuck.
No I checked what Time Machine itself was seeing, and it is pretty weird. Time Machine thinks it is a 700mb disk, while it is a 1Tb one as you can see below.
It was working well enough, thank that started.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks.
    PS: I use Yosemite 10.10.1, Imac 20, mid 2011

The first screenshot shows the amount of data on the volume, not its capacity. Apparently it's not large enough to hold all the data you're trying to back up, including about 20% of padding that Time Machine requires.
