Photoshop CC 2014 can't handle huge file.
I have a 60mb photoshop file that I am opening. Photoshop CC is handling it fine. But photoshop CC 2014 is very slow when I turn on and off layers it takes about 2 seconds for the action for this specific file and on Photoshop CC its instantaneous, I was wondering what the problem is with CC 2014, I double checked all the preferences are set same.

First you need to identify which step is taking more time. Adapter or transformation. Please share more details about your scenario.
If your scenario is pass through (with no transformation), then you can use the chunk mode. Please refer the below blog

Photoshop CC 2014 can't find JavaScript plug-in for Photomerge
Hello,
I'm trying to use the Photomerge tool in Photoshop CC 2014 on my computer (Windows 7, 64-bit) and am getting an error that says "Could not complete the Photomerge command because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript plug-in." The same thing happens with Lens Correction and Merge to HDR Pro. I have the most recent update of Photoshop CC 2014.
Per other suggestions in these forums about this issue, I have tried:
Turning off my virus protection in case it was preventing the program from accessing the scripts per this tip
Downloading and following the instructions on Adobe's site here to copy an additional Scripting folder to my Photoshop program folder
Uninstalling and reinstalling the program, followed by a system reboot
Talking to Adobe customer support (who tried to solve the problem for well over an hour and also uninstalled and reinstalled the program)
It looks like the Photomerge file is in the right place (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Presets\Scripts):
And so I am now out of ideas on how to fix this. Anyone have any suggestions?

Photoshop CC 2014 won't open any files, not even create new ones
I have a freshly installed version of Photoshop CC 2014 and it just won't open any single file no matter what I do. I also have Illustrator CC 2014 installed for the past week, and it is behaving fine, and even opening up the files that Photoshop won't open (jpg, psd, png, etc.).
I've tried uninstalling completely, and reinstalling it, and it still won't open any files. Basically, nothing happens after I click the "Open" button from the Open File dialog window.
I've also try resetting my user preferences using this video tutorial, and it also didn't resolve the problem: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/preference-file-names-locations-photoshop.html
Has anyone else experienced this or can give information on how to resolve it?
Thanks!Well, I finally got it to work through trial and error. Here were the steps that I used to get it to work:
1) Make sure that you are not behind any firewall/VPN/etc, just a direct connection to the internet (if possible). I use Adobe for my work laptop, and I was informed that this could potentially be an issue during installation processes.
2) Uninstall Photoshop via the Creative Cloud application interface.
3) Right-click on the Creative Cloud icon from the system tray and "Quit" (it was automatically started for me from a previous bootup)
4) Right-click on the Creative Cloud desktop icon and choose "Run As Administrator"
5) Re-install Photoshop
After performing the above steps, I can now open any png/jpg/gif/etc file, as well as start a new file. I have no clue why it works or if my steps played any role in fixing it, but I thought it was worth sharing for others to try if they encounter a similar issue. It could be either the firewall I was behind, or the permissions (I don't think Creative Cloud boots up running as administrator). But I am in no position to say I know the exact resolution. Photoshop CC 2014 Crashing on Startup (Recovering Files)
Since installing an OSX update (10.9.4), Photoshop won't finish starting. It tries recovering files it had open, then hits a PSD which it did not have the fonts for and exits.
No idea how to find the log file or clear this from happening, totally unusable
And suggestions?Okay... so anyone else in this situation - to me it is a bug when it tries to resolve missing fonts - so does need investigating...
So I removed the offending recovery file under:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC 2014/AutoRecover
Starts up fine now. -

Can xcelsius handle huge records in excel?
I read the doc and it say no limit but I see some slowness and sometime the range won't even take affect. I created an excel pulling from sql server which has 7500 rows, I want to do a combo box on all of these, is there a way around this? since i dont see an

In theory, there will be no limit for the binding excel range, but the performance will decrease depends on the increases of binding excel records. You can also configure the u201CMaximum Limits Of Rowsu201D under u201CFile->Preference->Excel Optionu201D (the default suggested rows is u201C512u201D)
For you question you want to retrieve thousands of rows data from SQL server then binds these data to Combo Box. I can give you some suggestions:
1.Write a web service to retrieve data from sql server, then use Xcelsius u201Cweb service connectionu201D under u201CManage Connectionu201D section to consume the service and get the data from sql server to spread sheet.
2.If you use sql server 2005, you can use u201CReporting Serviceu201D to generate service for your data base, also then consume the data using Xcelsius u201CWeb Service Connectionu201D and do the same steps like previous option.
3.Xcelsius also provide you a tool to generate web service with easy way (without coding).

Photoshop Elements 7: Can't find installation file to reinstall
I recently upgraded from WIndows Vista business 64 to Windows 7 Professional 64. Unfortunately I cannot reinstall Photoshop Elements 7 which I downloaded and purchased a license for. I can't find the downloaded file back on the hard drives nor in the backups.
Easiest would be if there was a utility that adds the photoshop elements entries to the registry with the right paths, but if that is not available, where can I download a new install file for Photoshop Elements 7? I do like the program and would like to be able to use it again.Well, that's another lesson learned: Always get a DVD and don't count on any Adobe customer service. Buying new is pushed everywhere, getting any service or help from Adobe on stuff you bought in the past is not to be found... Guess it doesn't exist.
I will just go have a look at what the competitors have to offer. -
Photoshop Elements 11 can't edit .avi files
I have avi files from my camera. I can run them on windows media player with no problems. I check the codec of the file and is MJPG. I ran G-SPOT and the codec is installed and working fine. My old version of elements (4) had no problems with these files. But elements 11 states codec isn't installed, etc
I am running windows 8 with a fresh install of elements 11.
Any thoughts ?When one starts getting beyond the "standard" Video CODEC's, some NLE's (Non Linear Editors) handle things better, than others.
I have both CyberLink's PowerDirector and Magix Movie Edit Pro (albeit older versions), just because each handles some non-standard footage better, than my Adobe NLE's do. Nothing wrong with using a tool, that handles your footage better. We all do it.
Now, I do like the Adobe interface the best, but if one of my versions of Premiere does not do exactly what I need, I use another tool - the toolbox can never have too many options.
Good luck, and if you purchased PrE within 30 days, Adobe will refund your $.

Photoshop CS6 problem - can't open new files
I have been using Photoshop CS6 (Windows 7) for a while now, and it has been working fine. However for two weeks or so I am having constant issues opening existing, or new documents.
I can either drag a picture, or File>New several times and nothing ever happens.
The only time it works, for maybe 15 minutes, is after I restart the computer.
This issue needs to be fixed! I have been looking through threads with the same problem and no one from Adobe has given a solution! And my version is original, through Creative Cloud.
What is there to do? Can I contact someone from Adobe personally to fix this? I am paying for Creative Cloud monthly, Shouldn't there be some sort support for this?
Also I have had the IT manager look into my computer and there is nothing wrong with it. Everything update, functioning smoothly. This is stricly an Adobe issue.Well, the bad news for you is that this is very likely something outside Adobe which we can't fix for you. From the sound of it you have a "security suite" running amok that is blocking access to temporary files, the clipboard and specific features that allow Windows apps to interact liek that drag&drop stuff. If this is the case, get rid of whatever this tool may be. It's rubbish if it behaves that aggressively and interferes with normal operations. Otherwise check for generic permissions/ user privilege issues that may trigger security stuff plus verify your hardware. Come to think of it this could be a ahrrdrive on the verge of imploding on itself and preventing the system from functioning right because temp files no longer can be written in damaged sectors. Check disk health, defragment, remove unused temporary files and back up your data before it crashes completely and goes *poof*. And finally of course reinstall your Adobe software just to be sure.

Photoshop Elements 9 - Can`t import MP3 file to slideshow.
I get the following message when trying to import an MP3 format audio file to a slideshow with Organizer 9. "The selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required compressor/decompressor(codec) installed." The file plays ok on other media player such as Windows media player, Quicktime and Itunes. Can anyone help me out?

Now that I have installed Photoshop CC 2014, can I uninstall the old Photoshop CC
I migrated the settings. I'm assuming I can just uninstall now...
I suggest waiting a while, and using the new version. That way you can ensure everything you need is set up and working before closing off your ability to run the older one.
I have heard rumors that uninstalling the older version might actually do bad things to the LightRoom to Photoshop interface, which some folks have said is fixed by then uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of Photoshop.
Unless you need the disk space there's really nothing terribly wrong with leaving the old version there from now on.
