Photoshop CC 2014 having a problem with display driver then crashes computer

Since the Photoshop update in October most of the time when I open Photoshop CC 2014, either my computer crashes with the driver state power failure or the program is able to boot and provide an error message involving a problem with the display driver and then my computer crashes with the driver state power failure. I did not have this problem until the update in October. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am using Windows 8.1 64-bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.40GHz processor
12.0 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860m
Intel HD Graphics 4600
All drivers and programs are up to date.

I keep receiving this error and then Photoshop crashes. Has anyone encountered this issue and if so how did you resolve it? I am using a Targus docking station and I had to download this driver: Driver Name: Video, Audio, and Ethernet Software for Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10, Mavericks 10.9, Mountain Lion 10.8/10.7 (R2.3) – January 2015
As long as this driver is installed on my mac pro, Photoshop continues to crash. If I uninstall the driver, Photoshop works fine.

Problem with display driver

Hello,
Im using Photoshop CC and when it starts up it sometimes gives me this error message:
'Problem with display driver and has temporary disabled enhancements which use graphics hardware.'
What does this mean?
Then it tells me to download the latstest software and gives me a link to an Adobe site that tells me nothing about a sollution.

PSCS4 encountered problem with display driver message

G'day,
On first opening PS CS4 I got this message," Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer's website for the latest software. GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of Preferences."
Anyone encountered this and know what it all means?
I'm running a Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5 GHz, 4.5 GB with a GeForce 7800GT. OS is 10.4.11

The "nVidia Quadro FX 4500 512MB Video Card Quad G5 PowerMac" should work in your Quad but it IS expensive:

Now I have the Photoshop CS4 working but everytime it starts, it gives me the messege that the GPU enhancement is disabled. If I try to go to performance to enable it, the program crashes ????
I'm using aa ASUS EAH4850 and I have 5.9 sorce in Vista 32 H-Premium.
Can anyone please help.
I'm sure it's not a DEP problem as I just installed the CS4 on another PC with an old Graphic card, without even touching the performance settings and it worked perfectly and the Photoshop CS4 detected and used the graphic card.
What's the problem ?

Well, after what I did yesterday, updating the ATi 4850 drive to the latest, and updating the 11.0.1 of Photoshop CS4, everything went ok and the CS4 detected the Graphic card.
Today, I was asked for updates (Creative Suite CS4) and once the updates were over and installed, Photoshop went back to it's old story !!
Now everytime I start it, it gives me that error of GPU, and if I try to go to preference or General the program crashes.
I already enabled the graphic card in preference yesterday..
Now I really don't know what to do.... Shall I re install the 11.0.1 update ?

I am having a problem with Flash Player constant crashing.

I have updated to new version plus uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. Dell computers have also attempted and claimed to have been successful three different times. It still continues to crash. The new message I am getting is continue plug-in or stop plug-in. I typically stop plug-in but then it can up to five minutes or more to reload the page. I also receive reload the page message as well. This happens using Firefox and Chrome both as the browser. Forgot to mention this happens when playing games, i.e. Farmville 2 and Coasterville, on Facebook. I don't seem to have a problem on any of the other games available. This has been happening for months and I have researched everything I can plus doing everything I can but it does NOT resolve the problem. I have also disabled my virus protection while reinstalling this software. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!! Failed to mention that the Dell technician even uninstalled Firefox and Chrome to eliminate the issue. Of course per this message that did not resolve the problem either. Thank you , Pam

I have updated all products, uninstalled and reinstalled ,ran virus scans, changed the compatibility its running on (from windows 7 to XP), disabled all plugins, and I am still encountering the same issue of all my mozilla installs crashing repeatedly. Have you tried the restart/reset/restore troubleshooting path? That would be the best initial set of steps to take, particularly in a situation like this.

This issue can be caused by the Babylon Toolbar 1.1.8 extension
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Photoshop CS6 unable to use due to display driver (Intel) problem

Hi
I am experiencing problems using Photoshop CS6 (not extended version). I have recently installed Design standard and I'm not having this problem with Illustrator.
Each time I run PS, I receive a pop up with "display driver Intel HD graphics drivers for Windows 8(R) stopped responding and has successfully been recovered". PS opens but I cannot use it and I have to force end task in task manager.
I have an Asus Laptop (i7) with Windows 8.1, graphics card Intel HD 4400, it also has an NVIDA Geoforce GT 740M graphic card.
so far:
I have installed the latest driver from Intel (10.18.10.3345).
I have re-booted in Safe Mode and can open PS - I receive the message "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled enhancements which use the graphics hardware". I can use PS in safe mode. I then re-boot and can use PS normally, however after another re-boot or awakening from sleep the problem reappears.
I have tried switching to 'Basic' or "Normal' in the advanced settings. The problem occurs again.
I connect this laptop by VGA to an external Dell monitor, however it does not just happen when connected to the external.
Any help in resolving this would be very much appreciated!

is uninstalling the graphics card the only fix for this? I'm reluctant to try this, and cause more problems..

Problem with displaying picture.

I use PS-CC and LR5.on a HP i7 computer and windows 7.Camera D-800, pictures in raw.
I usually import pictures in nef in LR5,. After some corrections, I export my pictures to DNG format. I sometimes do a little bit of work in camera raw then go into Photoshop.
My problem: When in photoshop, I get a grainy version of my photo which wasn't the situation in LR5 or Camera raw, Hard to work with. The grains will disappear when I enlarge the picture but then I have to enlarge it so much that I only see or can work with only part of my picture. The problem does not appear in CS6.
Hope somebody can help me.

I should clarify this.. When I import photos into LR5, I always use copy as
DNG. I know that NEF and DNG are the same for photoshop and I always shoot
in raw.
One thing I do not know is how to do a screen shot. I will get back tro you
on that. When I say grain, or noise if you like, I mean that, if i relate
to films, my picture in LR5 would be at ISO 100 and my screen shot in
photoshop would look like it was boosted to 1200 or worse.
