Photoshop CC 2014: HDR pro trying to merge 3 pictures part way through process stops.
HDR pro gets part way through the process then stops as if nothing is open and I can carry on working in PS as if nothing processing. Have closed and opened again and shut down and restarted computer, also waited for a long time but still nothing happens.
I copied that .jsx file to a new name "Xbytor Image Processor Pro.jsx" edit that file changed the string Dr Browns services to "Xbytor Image Processor Pro" then commented out all the code that added tools menu items but "Image Processor Pro" and I put that file into
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\Adobe Bridge" even though Bridge CC is 64Bit seems to use theat location.
Bridge CC was updated by the creative clouds update and opens Photoshop CC 2014 now

I've been trying to download an update to Photoshop so that I can import a raw file. Half way through it stops and tells me that to continue I have to close dynamiclinkmanager.exe. close that exe using your task manager (win) or activity monitor (mac).

Officejet Pro 8600 Plus N911g - scanning stalls part way through
I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus N911g. When I try to scan a large number of documents from the printer to my computer, the printer stalls part way through. Today I had a stack of 45 pages that needed to be scanned. I loaded them into the document feeder on the top of the printer, hit "Scan", "To Computer", chose my computer from the list, "Save as pdf" and start scan.
The printer started scanning, got through about 30 pages and then just froze up. The display screen showed "Now Scanning". I let it sit for over a half an hour, but it did not resume. The only way to get out of the stalled scanning was to turn off the printer and restart it.
This has happened multiple times. Is there a limit on the number of documents that can be scanned at a time?Hello aksnell,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
In my experience the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus would be best suited to scan such a large amount using the software provided. The printer has a internal memory of 128 MB, that will fill up very fast when scanning into the computer.
I would recommend opening HP Scan on the computer, select .PDF and scan the pages this way. It will still feed from the Automatic Document Feeder and also save all pages to a single file when done.
If you need a hand scanning using the software, replay back with the Operating System installed on your computer, Windows or Mac.

I downloaded the 32 bit version of photoshop cc 2014. When trying to install I get the message that installer failed to initialize and that this could be due to a missing file. Has anybody a solution>?
Did you unzip the entire contents of the download zip file onto your hard drive before running the installer? You need to do that.

Loading my Photoshop CS3 onto new Mac Book Air. Why does it ask for InDesign CS4 part way through? I have a CS5.5 disc. Will suffice?
that doesn't make sense. you will only be prompted for earlier adobe versions when installing a latter upgrade version.
double check your versions.

CS6 64-bit HDR Pro producing corrupted merge
Running CS6 Basic on W7-64bit. I'm not a frequent user of CS6, mostly Photoshop Elements does all I need, but I've been reworking the CS5 Classroom in a Book exercises to refresh my CS6 knowledge.
I've reached the exercise (page 139) where multiple images of a model are merged using File> Automate> Merge to HDR Pro... but getting a weird result in CS6 64-bit. I've tried the two suggestions seen in this forum (resetting preferences, ensuring images are displayed in tabs) but neither has worked. My graphics drivers are up to date as are all Windows updates.
If I run the same images through Merge to HDR Pro in the 32-bit version of CS6 its perfect.
Here is what I'm getting in 64-bit - any suggestions?

Insanity is hereditary, you get it from your children.Interesting - with the clean install I also let it install CS6 32-bit version as well (I've got more disk space now than I did a year ago). In the 32-bit CS6 Merge to HDR Pro works fine!
Does that give anyone ideas as to what the problem could be?

Tools not working photoshop cc 2014 surface pro 3.
I tried resetting tools. I've even reinstalled the program. I can select any tool but when I go to work on the canvas, no cursor, nothing. I don't have any of these problems in illustrator. Don't know what else to do. Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you

Photoshop CC 2014 crashes when trying to create a panorama from Lightroom?
Hi,
I have both Photoshop and Lightroom CC installed.
When I pass 6 photos from Lightroom to Photoshop CC to create a panorma, Photoshop goes through the throws, imports the images, generates the panorama then crashes, with a message from Windows saying it is checking for a solution to the problem, then dies.
I have reviewed the posts, and found one that suggest to increase the cache level to 6... tried this and it still dies.
Found another workaround to have Photoshop x64 running and pass the images to it rather than have Lr fire up Ps CC. This worked and produced the panorama.
I am not sure why, but with the use of the CC app, I know have three Ps's on my my machine, x32, x64 and CC..., not even sure what the difference between x64 and CC... ???...
So my question is...
Is there are a problem with PS CC?... there certainly was with the focus stacking algorithms.. or is it just me.?.. ;(

Exported HD video from Premiere Pro CS4 via Media encoder Freezes mid way through video
Hi,
I couldnt find this raised by anyone else so thought id start a new thread. Ive tried a couple of times to export an edited project only to find the video is all good up until roughly half way through the video at which point the video freeezes, the time keeps moving along as if its playing but no video. It looks like the encode failed at this point. I have no problems if I split up the video and export it in smaller pieces but obviously this isnt good enough
Any ideas as to the cause?

Project goes for just over an hour
CheersThat suggests some failure somewhere in the encoding process. It could be something in your timeline around 43 minutes, maybe a blank space (even for a single frame), a disk hiccup causing some part to go missing, other hardware problems. It could be a myriad of things going wrong. Adobe photoshop CC 2014 is closing shortly after opening. It is saying it has stopped working. HELP!
Someone help me please!!!! I just spoke with Adobe support on chat and they gave me step by step instructions to clean my adobe and what not and download the new photoshop, and it worked fine but then it is saying it has stopped working shortly after opening. The chat is offline right now someone please tell me yo ucan give me instructions what to do?!?!
A friend gave me a link to AMD to update my driver and it seemed to work.

Has anyone had problems downloading itunes 10.1 with the generation 6 nano? I have
Windows Vista on my computer. Was able to install version 8.1 but nano needs newest version. Help anyone???The solution Lijoesat posted above worked for me!
First I found the private/var/folders/ (and then lots of gibberish folders) and singled out two garageband files and deleted them. This did not work.
I then deleted everything which may or may not be a good thing, I am an idiot, I have no idea if these are extremely important files or not!
I tried to empty the trash bin after but many files was locked and Garageband would still not install.
I did a restart of the computer, emptied the bin successfully and tried to install Garageband again and it worked fine!
The inserted picture show some of the folder structure, I deleted everything after private/var/folders/ -
I tried renting a movie last night but was unable to. Tonight I was able to rent the same movie & have been watching it but now it is frozen on my TV. I can rewind it but it continues to freeze in the same place. I cannot forward it at all. Thank you in advance for any help.

Nearly blank page in my apps listing after ios7
Just installed ios7, to find a nearly blank page in my apps listing between apple's stuff and my stuff. Other than manually moving every single ap to fill in the blank space (a tedious and clumbsy process at best), is there a way to get it to do this
