Need help getting installing this software. Message reads "Unable to extract files. Press retry to download again or ... (EX20).
Please rename OOBE Folder from these locations
Windows :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Local\Adobe
Go to creative.adobe.com -> Download Center -> Download Creative Cloud

Trying to update Photoshop 5 Camera Raw. Get message installation failed. No other information. Please advise. Running Windows 7 64 bit on Dell Precision m4500. 8G 500G. Is there an alternative way to update the camera profiles in ACR. I am trying to add a Nikon D750 and Canon Powershot G15.
you can update ps cs5 manually:, http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
but you can only update to cr 6.7 and that camera needs 8.7 or better.
your options are to upgrade your ps or use the dng converter, Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 8.7 -
I have the same problem, MSVCR80.dll. I "uninstalled", but can't "install" , get error message "Service "apple mobile device" failed to start. Verify that you have privleges to start service. No option works. HELP !!!! I'm NOT a computer geek !

Photoshop 7 Fails to Install WIN XP SP3

not alone, unless the problem was with a component instead of an installer confusion in the temp folder.

I usually leave mine alone too- well every now and then. just delete all the files from them you can (c:\docs & settings\user\local settings\temp, c:\temp, c:\windows\temp)
usually there's no problem but occasionally an installer will leave part of itself in temp where by odd coincidence (or not so odd, because there are relatively few install apps that systems use - wise and install shield probably 2 of the most used) has a file that's got the same name as one the new installer expects. so it starts reading from that one instead. now the whole install gets screwy.

yes, me too. saves time when troubleshooting and the app that fails to install keeps deleting the install files! :)

oh, i misunderstood. i thought you were advocating KEEPING that new admin user as the main user. that's what i mean is a pita having to move settings over from the old acct. to the new one... i guess that CAN work, sometimes, but not always. some apps (not sure if photoshop is among them) want you to install under the user account that will be running it.

This is on a an Acer Veriton DuoCore with 1 GB RAM.
I've never had PSCS2 or any beta versions.
I ran the CS3CleanUp [level 2] because I failed to install PSCS3 months ago and gave up.
I downloaded a new copy of PSCS3.
Installer runs smoothly but ends up with "some components could not be installed." That component apparently being PSCS3.
I can see that Bridge and Help have been added to my Adobe folder but not Photoshop CS3.

Photoshop keeps failing to install
My IT just reinstalled my OS windows 7, creative cloud desktop works however photoshop fails to install? Ive tried may different ways restarting, from a different link etc etc.
It suggested turning off my firewall and antivirus, and I have still no luck?Now I dont have photoshop to create new document and paste into it so I tried with a pdf and this forum says its not a supported file?
This time it said Error writing to temporary file location. -

I am trying to install a trial version of PS CS5 and everything installs perfectly, but once I reach the end it says Photoshop failed to install. I am installing English. I currently have Photoshop CS4 and that installed perfectly. I'm running on Vista Home Premium.

I'm no installer expert, but several of the things it shows seem to indicate that you should do a full removal (including possibly a run of the Adobe CS cleaner script), then re-download the Photoshop installer and install again.

Premier Elements 13 and Photoshop Bundle Fails To Install

I purchased Photoshop Elements 13 with the Photoshop bundle but both are not installing stating:
We've encountered the following issues
Installer has detected that a machine restart may be pending.....
This is on a Lenovo Yoga Pro 3 touch screen
Windows 8.1
M-5Y71 CPU
1.2 GHz
8GB ram
64-bit
x64-based processor
I've tried both the 2 Akamai installer (Elements and Photoshop) and downloading the 4 files separately. I extracted the zip to the desktop in all install attempts. After extraction if running by hand, I right click Set-Up and ran as Administrator.
And yes I rebooted the machine multiple times. Please help!!!!zeoth

Are you doing the downloading and installing with the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? Are you working
from a school or company network?
Depending on your answers
1. Remove all traces of Premiere Elements 13 from your Windows 8.1 64 bit computer (See Control Panel/Programs).
2. Do a free ccleaner run through (regular and registry parts)
CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download
3. Disable antivirus and firewall (s) and any other computer home security software.
4. Install Premiere Elements 13.
5. After successful install and 13, then update 13 to 13.1 as prompted or using an opened project's Help Menu/Update.
Also consider alternative installation files from the following (tryout of 13 into which you can insert your purchased serial number).

Photoshop Cs4 fails to install
When I go to install CS4 ,I get a message that Bridge is open. It is not open. I try to uninstall CS4 extended trial an the same thing happens. I tried to load CS3 and bridge won't open. CS4 bridge will load even though I have run out of daYS USING THE TRIAL VERSION.
So I am stuck with CS# and the new bridge.

MikeSame topic, different mode of failure: In Windows XP Home, fails to recognize the installed PS CS3 v.10.0.1, and prompts for the serial number of a PS CS3 Extended version (the only choice in a drop-down). The Adobe eligibility charts show that PS CS3, CS2 and CS are eligible products to upgrade. The installed version of PS CS3 has been working fine for over a year and it is a legal version. I do notice that there is a PS CS2 also still installed, but the frequency of use seems to indicate they both are working together. CS2 is also eligible to upgrade, so there goes that alibi. A support case I opened was responded to by simply directing me to phone support, and abruptly withdrawn (not by me). There was a hint that I might be given a time sensitive unlock key.

Adobe creative cloud shows update for photoshop but fails to install
I recently downloaded the trial version of PhotoShop through the creative cloud app for my Microsoft surface pro3.
The program seemed to completely install apart from at the end there was an update that failed.
It still shows an update in the cc app but when you click on it, it attempts to install but fails.
