I only use a couple of save as formats. Does anyone how to remove the ones I don't need. Thanks.

Sorry for my delayed response.
I did not copy any plugins from an older version to CS5.
Once again, it is not possible to deactivate specific file formats as it was possible in former versions?
E.g. I do not need Targa:
My most preferred file format is TIF (for Photoshop files with layers, too). But typing "t" to select the TIF format it selects first Targa. So I have to type "t" a second time -- and yes, I am doing this several times each day and want to hide unneeded formats

Hi,
there is no support for doc files (M$ Word?) in Java. You would have to create your own classes for that eventually subclassing JEditorPane, EditorKit, Document etc. As well you'd need your own reader for the doc format.
The problem I see with that however is that there is nothing such as thedoc file format. Microsoft just saves anything produced by MS Word into files ending with .doc. But, if there is anything such as a .doc file format, it changes more often than the weather in April.

    DATA:file_path TYPE char100 VALUE '/usr/sap/tmp/rep_out.PDF'.
    OPEN DATASET file_path FOR OUTPUT IN BINARY MODE.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
      LOOP AT it_pdf.
        TRANSFER it_pdf TO file_path.
      ENDLOOP.
    ENDIF.
    CLOSE DATASET file_path.

Part of it - in my way of doing is
Roxio Toast™ Pro incl BD-component.
• Burn short AVCHD - on standard DVDs (20-30 minutes at HD quality) - NEED Blu-Ray player to be viewed
or BD-burner and disks - for full Blu-Ray Disks (not got to this yet)
I think that saving as .mpeg4 H.264 and save on USB-memory to be put into PlayStation3 also keep high quality playback.

i am making a tool for wducation site and there i need to convert doc xls and pdf file in swf in runtime and show that in container with cropping and panning functionality.so i do it for doc file format but having no idea how to convert .pdf file format and .xls file format into swf.So please guide me how to do it.

Open file x with a FileReader or BufferedReader or maybe another class. Search Java API for this.
Read file x.
Converts contents as you want.
Write file y by a FileWriter or BufferedWriter.

Someone please help me in getting the file format that is selected in the "save as" dialog. I wanted to retrieve it in the string format.
I tried sAIDocument->GetDocumentFileFormat. But i'm unable to implement it correctly. Is there a better way or How do I implement this? Precisely, I wanna get the value as a string when the user selects "save as .pdf".

Do you really need to know the file type? What about just checking the bit depth?

Questions regarding: 1) Photoshop and Illustrator softwares 2) .eps file formats.

I'm using a DELL PC running Win7. I have Adobe Photoshop CS (i.e. the first CS version from 2003).
I do not yet have Adobe Illustrator.
I'm creating images for a science publication. It includes graphs, chemical structures, color photos of lab
equipment. I use ChemBioDraw (Cambridgesoft, http://scistore.cambridgesoft.com) to draw chemical
structures and schematics. I've been using MS Powerpoint to draw graphs, make composites of photos, label
panels, and add annotation.
1) The publishing company wants line drawings to be in .eps format. I can copy and paste ChemBioDraw
and Powerpoint figures into Photoshop and then save them in .eps format. They look identical to me when in
.eps format. Will this be suitable for publication?
2) The ChemBioDraw figure file size increases more than tenfold when converted to .eps format. Is this
expected?
3) I have used Photoshop a lot in the past but not for my recent work. My coauthor uses Adobe Illustrator on
a PowerMac G5-9.1. He creates .eps files for line drawings. Are the drawing tools in Illustrator much
better than those in Photoshop? If I get Illustrator will I be able to manipulate photo images (create
composites, add annotation etc.) as I have with Photoshop in the past?
4) My coauthor has sent me some .eps line drawings. When I open them with Photoshop there is a gray and
white checkerboard pattern in the background. I believe this is because the background layer has been
eliminated (the image is in layer 1). Can such a file be opened in a way that the background is solid white?
5) Is there a Windows-compatible software for viewing .eps files that is simpler than Photoshop or Illustrator (i.e. no editing
function)?

1) No. Photoshop does not create true vector files. Anyone asking for an EPS more than likely wants a true vector EPS file.
2) No way of telling without seeing the results. But it could be perfectly normal. Increased file size in an EPS does not automatically mean there is a problem.
3) Illustrator is a drawing tool. The tools in Illustrator are designed for object-oriented vector drawing. In many respects they are better than Photoshop's tools for those type of projects. And No, you can not edit photographs easily with Illustrator. While you can include photos or raster items within an Illustrator file, Illustrator is not inherently designed to edit iamges at a pixel level.
4) Just add a new layer and fill it with white (or whatever color). Vector EPS files have no background.
5) If you have Photoshop or Illustrator you have Bridge. You can view files in Bridge. I wouldn't know of any other Windows software. It may exist, I simply wouldn't know.

How to read XML file format

Presently calling a webservice to search for customer which generates a XML file. Requirement is to check the XML file format in case of success move to next step and in case of error exit from the application.
The file generated can have multiple formats as per input supplied.
Please advise how the file format can be checked.

or check the below code
data: temp_str type string.
concatenate '>' cl_abap_char_utilities=>cr_lf '<'><' in XML_STRING with temp_str.
xml_string is the straing variable to hold the xml .
now use xml_string to show it in texteditor.

How can I print File Format definitions?

We have multiple text and spreadsheet input files we use to load data to our DW. Is there a way I can print the format definitions for the the text and spreadsheet files?
I've used the Auto documentation feature for work flows and data flows, but don't see an option for the print the File Formats (very well could be user error!).

How to fix "Unexpected File Format" in Adobe Flash Professional CS6

I am trying to access my Fla file and every time I try to open it, It keeps saying "Unexpected File Format" and then closing. This happened after the Auto Saving crashed the program. I've already tried the "turn it into .rar and repairing the .rar then turning the rar back into fla." that didn't help at all. Please help I've spent a whole year working on this animation and to have the program do this to me the minute I finish makes me so mad and not want to ever buy another product from adobe ever again! please help!?!
