Photoshop CC in Trial mode. Have Photoshop/Lightroom CC subscription.

I have a Photoshop / Lightroom CC subscription
but each time I fire up Photoshop it pops up a dialog saying my trial is ending soon.
If I hit "License this software" and sign in, I am told to enter a serial number.
I have not seen any serial number being mentioned in the initial emails received, and as far as I understand from the websites help it is not supposed to be any on the CC subscriptions.
I am out of ideas on what to try to get this working

Lots of Q&A in these forums with the same issue.

Installed Creative Cloud Manager and downloaded both programs.
Lightroom works fine and was activated with creative cloud without problem, however PHOTOSHOP simply doesn´t activate, only gives me option to start on trial mode and I haven´t received any redemption code to actually try redeem. In previous question you sent me redemption hel link, but didn't work out since i haven´t received any redemtion code. Hope you can help, I am rellay disappointed with this subscription.

    Hi Bernardosan72
Sorry to hear you're still having difficulties. I looked at your order and it looks like the type of membership which should only require you signing in with your Adobe ID and no redemption code.  Do you see any kind of button at the bottom with a "License this software" option that you can use to sign-in? If for some reason Photoshop was unable to activate, that would be an explanation why its running in trial mode. In addition to the link John provided, this one might be useful too: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html
If you continue to have difficulties, contacting our support via chat like John suggested would be a good next step.

  • Photoshop says it's running in Trial mode.

    Hi there,
10 days ago I purchased the Lightroom+Photoshop package. I went on to install that on my Mac Pro but now everytime I open Photoshop it pops open the Adobe Application Manager who reminds my that there are X days remaining on my Photoshop trial. Lightroom works without problems.
I can click on either License this software or Contintue Trial. When I select license this software I get the message that login is required. It already knows my Adobe ID. When I click on the Sign In button it just goes to the next screen that asks for a serial number which I obviously don't have since it's a CC product and we don't get serial numbers.
The strange part is, I also installed it on my MacBook Pro and it works flawlessly there. It activates/registers without issues.
Yesterday I removed all the CC software with the provided Adobe CC removal tools. I also manually deleted every trace of Adobe files I could find on my system (application support files in both the Libraries, caches etc). I then went on to reinstall the software but the issue remains. Lightroom works, Photoshop keeps claiming it's running in trial mode.
I searched for a solution to this problem on the internet and these forums at first. There are a lot of people having this issue but no real solution is given (or no solution that actually works for me). It seems to be a somewhat common issue unfortunately.
One of the things I read is that it could be a language issue, when installing the software in a different language than your OS. My OS is in Dutch but I installed the software in English international (because I'm not used to a Dutch language photoshop, I get all lost if it's not in English ). But on the other hand, on my laptop the situation is exactly the same. Dutch OSX, English CC install. And yet that works perfectly.
Also my hosts file is clean, nothing is blocking communication to Adobe servers. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting my account from inside the Creative Cloud menu app's settings to no avail.
It frustrates me to no end that the almost exact same setup works on my laptop and not on my desktop machine. Especially because the Mac Pro is my work machine and I rarely, if ever, use Photoshop on my laptop.
I really don't want to wait and see what happens in 20 days when the trial runs out. I don't know what to do anymore after doing that clean install (unless I missed just that crucial file that causes the issue..). Maybe it's an issue on the CC authentication server's end. Maybe I tried reinstalling too many times and it now thinks I'm running it on more than 2 computers? But that seems unlikely.
I'm running OSX 10.9.2 on both machines.

    Hello:
My Photoshop subscription has reverted to Trial Mode. What can I do to fix this? I have a photoshoot that I need to finish processing, and it needs to be done today. I tried customer support chat, but they basically hung up on me because they were too busy. They recommended asking here.

  • Why can't I open my RAW files in my trial version of Photoshop Lightroom 4?

Why can't I open my RAW files in my trial version of Photoshop Lightroom 4? I use a Canon 5d mark II, which is supposed to be supported, and I checked for updates, but none were found.

You cannot open files directly with Lr.
    You have to import them.

I have a 9.99 subscription for lightroom and photoshop. I only use lightroom and would like to try new version 6, which I think I should be eligible under subscription plan. I can't figure out how to upgrade my existing copy. Creative Cloud doesn't offer this option.

  • I am having trouble installing photoshop Lightroom.  I have the S/N #... I need it to be confirmed and activated so i can receive an email to activate the system to my computer.  I am not sure how to go about doing so.

I am having trouble installing photoshop Lightroom.  The program is installed and has some sections blocked off.  I have the S/N #... I need it to be confirmed and activated so i can receive an email to activate the system to my computer.  I am not sure how to go about doing so.

If you have a serial number, you simply need to enter it into the proper fields.
Since you don't say what version of Lightroom, and what sections are "blocked off", let me guess that you have Lightroom CC, and you need to enter the serial number to turn it into Lightroom 6. Here are the instructions: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Help | Serialize Lightroom CC trial to activate as Lightroom 6
And if that's not the right assumption, then please give us the details.

  • Free trial of Photoshop Lightroom 5

A photographer friend recommended I use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 for procesing my RAW photos. I found the "free trial link" but cannot find how long it lasts. Can someone at Adobe please respond? Thank you kindly.

Before you can insert a photo in a blog you have to export it from Lightroom as an RGB image, probably in jpg format. From the moment it has been saved on your hard drive that jpg leads an independent existence which is not connected to Lightroom's functionality or lack of it - just like a calve can go on living after the cow has been trotted off to the slaughter-house. Moreover, after you have uploaded the jpg to the web a copy of it is now saved on the blog site's server and will continue to be there even if your computer explodes.
Also, you should be aware that LR never does anything to your Raw files other than read them. It does not change them in any way and after you have finished the trial you can edit them in any other Raw conversion application. As a matter of fact, you can edit them in LR and any number of other converters simultaneously. When you edit a Raw in LR the only thing that happens is that those requested edits are listed in a database file, called the "catalog", for LR's future reference if it is commanded to make an RGB image. Without an operative version of LR the catalog cannot be read.

  • Photoshop lightroom 3 Trial?

I have downloaded the Photoshop lightroom 3 30 day Trial. It seemed to go well, but as I finished and tried to inport a photo to play with- I am not familiar with it at all, but as I thought I could import a couple photos- it made a catalog of hundreds.... then said it had stopped working and would have to close.
After this, I have tried starting the program again and it tells me "Lightroom Opening Catalog:IMG_0749.JPG.ircat"  -- It then says it 'has stopped working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
I have uninstalled and reinstalled but the exact same thing happened.
Anyone else have this issue or know what to do to fix it? I have heard a lot of great things about this program & really wanted to try it.
I'm really frustrated & at this point, I'm glad it was just a trial & not a purchase:)
    Thank you!
I am running vista by the way.

Trash the catalog named Lightroom Opening Catalog:IMG_0749.JPG.ircat
