Photoshop CC not available?

I don't see Photoshop CC as an option to download, only Photoshop CS6.

am using Mac OSX v. 10.8.3 I found instructions on the adobe site that said to open PS CS6 and go to Help>Updates. I ran through this. When I reopened PS, it is still CS6 and there is no PS CC installed on my machine. I thought perhaps CC was just an update to CS6 so I opened it and checked. The new features are not there.
Below are all of the Adobe products currently installed on my computer.
I went back to the Adobe Download assistant and the following is what I see.
see? No Photoshop CC option. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Cannot initialize photoshop disk not available.

I have 3 HD's. My Mac OS runs on HD 1 as well as my applications. I use HD 1 & 2 as storage for photos and video. I switched my scratch disc order to HD 2 and HD 3 but clicked off HD 1 as a scratch disk in photoshop extended CS4. Now I cannot open photoshop not even to reset my scratch discs. It will not open because it says it cannot initialize photoshop because disk is unavailable. The weird part is that I cannot open photoshop in CS3 because of the same reason even though I did not touch that. I uninstalled and reinstalled both from disk and time machine but does not help. How do I change back to what I had before I screwed this up. I can't believe the program allows itself to be obstructed so easily without any warning.

Go back in Time Machine to before you did this and restore the Photoshop folders and preferences in the HD\Library\Preferences, HD\Library\Application Support\Adobe, and Home\Library\Preferences folders.
Or you can just dump the preferences and then try to restart PS.
I suggest the Time Machine method in case you have custom workspace settings or paths you don't want to lose and have to reset

I tried to update and it keeps telling me to get the Application Manager. And this is what happens

I followed the instructions it gave me to correct this issue:

Could not initialize Photoshop because the disk is not available

I get this message when I try to startup Photoshop:
"Could not initialize Photoshop because the disk is not available."
I found a fix in Tech Notes about selecting the scratch disk and choosing ignore permissions, but I don't even remember what the scratch disk was, so I don't really know how to select ignore permissions on it.
Does anyone know another way to fix this. It seems like this must be some "login-local" preference (meaning that there must be something in the user's local preferences for setting this scratch disk parameter (the only reason I'm thinking this is that if I create another user and run Photoshop, I get no error.)
I looked through ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe for any kind of Photoshop Preference, but I couldn't find a specific preference that stood out. Anyone have an idea?

I just got the same message, "Could not initialize Photoshop because the disk is not available". I had just assigned my primary scratch disk to an internal drive that was empty and had lots of free space. When I restarted my machine, the error message appeared when I tried to open Photoshop.
Not sure why this error occurred, but deleting the preferences did fix that problem... unfortunately, doing that will reset all your prefs = pallets, brushes, actions. I suspect you could just delete the "Adobe Photoshop CS2 Prefs.psp" file and leave the others intact to avoid that.
I would still like to know why changing the scratch disk gives us this problem? I mean, isn't that the whole point of having another internal drive?

I Have downloaded the new Photoshop CC 2014 and updated Bridge. I am no longer able to run automated tasks from Bridge in Photoshop because the "photoshop" submenu is not available under tools...

So, if I understand you, I buy an incomplete software without any information from Adobe about that !!!!! and you don't alow me to use a complet french version of the software I paid and use on the US country because of a French law that nobody knows neither follow except ADOBE????? can you explain me more because I really don't understand your "no answer" to explain an other bug in your software... Why do you sell it as an incomplet solution at the same price in that case? Just have to inform every users about that and we will baught the US (or other language) versions in place of the french one...

Browse in Mini Bridge is not Available under File Menu in Photoshop CC

Recently installed Bridge CC and Photoshop CC in Windows 7 enviornment. "Browse in Mini Bridge" option is not available under the File menu. I reinstalled Bridge CC, rebooted, yatta yatta, but no Mini Bridge option. Any ideas how to get it to install/come up?

Mini Bridge is no longer available, so it's never going to show up again. All Flash-based extension panels were removed from Photoshop, and Mini Bridge was one of them. More info here:

Fonts Not Available in Photoshop CS3 (Windows 7)?

My desktop computer crashed yesterday and I had to run out last night and pick up a new unit as I'm trying to meet a number of deadlines (and not having much luck getting the work done in my laptop).
The new computer uses Windows 7 as the Operating System. It has already presented a ton of headaches... I've already spent in excess of ten hours trying to reinstall hardware and dealing with the various quirks that arise.
The latest of these issues is that I cannot seem to access some fonts from Photoshop CS3. I'm having the same issue, to a lesser extent, in Illustrator 10.
For instance, after downloading the Helvetica and Helvetica Neue families in Windows 7, they do not appear in the Type menu in Photoshop. There are a ton of useless pre-installed fonts there, but not the ones I installed. If I try to access them from Illustrator, it displays only one weight of each typeface (for instance, it displays Helvetica Neue 65 but omits 55, 75, 95, etc....).
The issue does not occur for all fonts. For instance, I installed AvantGarde and it displays just fine. In that instance, the fonts were TrueType whereas the Helvetica font files are Type 1 font files.
Can anyone help? I've already lost a day-and-a-half of work, and can't afford to spend much more time screwing around with this nonsense.

To clarify, I do have a copy of ATM, but just have not installed it on my XP computer or this new one. It is on my Illustrator 10 install disk. Not sure if it will work on Windows 7, as Illustrator 10 would not run on the new computer until I set the compatibility to work with Vista and earlier. I suppose that I could install it and see if it works. Might be worth a shot.

With regard to font installation on Windows 7, there are three techniques as far as I can tell. They are:
1) Drag and drop method: Works the same as it always has. Simply drag the typefaces into the Fonts folder or Control Panel > Fonts.
2) You can navigate to where a font file is located (the desktop, for instance) and then right-click on it and choose "Install." This is what I referred to previously, and I tried it after drag-and-drop did not work.
3) For the third method (according to Windows 7 documentation I found online at http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7desktop/thread/324ecdc6-8574-4527-8099- efc430bf550f), you are supposed to be able to go into the Control Panel > Fonts, press ALT (to display the menu) and then choose File > Install New Font. You would then be prompted to navigate to the typeface you want to install. However, this option is not available on my computer. When I tried it, I can access the File menu, but "Install New Font" is not listed on the dropdown.

1-Do some more reading about a Windows "upgrade version" which, according to my experience, does NOT require you to format your drive... it upgrades over what you have, without disturbing installed programs... at least that is what happened the ONE time I installed an upgrade version, so I can't give a 100% assurance it will work that way with your computer... search link for all things Microsoft http://search.microsoft.com/search.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US

I get this message when I try to open a .mov file...
"Could not complete your request because DynamicLink is not available?"
What does this mean does anyone know - my .mov file is about 7MBs.

I am experiencing the same problem, after a fresh clean installation of the mastercollection.
Particularly, I would love to solve this for Photoshop, as the very first post initially asked.
Computer Environment:
MacBook Pro Early 2011
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256 MB
Memory 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
SSD with 512GB; about 81GB are still free
Software:
Mavericks OS X 10.9.5
Adobe Mastercollection CS6 Extended, 64bit.
Including the Dynamic Link Media Server Update 1.0.1 are all individual apps up to date as of today, March 9 2015.
Quicktime Player (v.10.3) and
Quicktime Player v.7.6.6
From this discussion, I followed Merediths suggestions under
post #17 (the ones that apply to me as a Mac user).
I double-checked, if some security or anti-virus-software was responsible – I don't have any.
I also tried her suggestions under post #4 however: #4.4 (her last suggestion in that post) but
Bridge is not working at all. It launches, but crashes as soon as you see the workspace.
Hence, Mini Bridge in Photoshop is also crashing.
I do have all codecs for the videos, that I was trying to open, though.
It cannot be an issue, that I have not enough RAM.
After several other problems with After Effects, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, which remain partly unsolved, this post starts form a fresh installation of the whole Adobe Suite (count: 8 times). Even used the Cloud Cleaner Tool beforehand and made sure, all presets are from this CS6 version only.
The exact error message that I am getting is «Could not complete the Video Frames to Layer Command because the DynamicLink Media Server is not available.»
Other notes:

which is a newer thread with the same question (but without any solutions).
