Photoshop CC on more than one Mac at same time

I believe I can install Photoshop CC on two computers. But can I use both of those copies at the very same time? One for me and one for my wife. I have been able to do that with CS6

No you can't. Technically, you're not supposed to do that with CS6 either, but they didn't have a way of forcing you not too...  With CC I'm pretty sure it will give you an error.

  • Failed to upgrade more than one table at same time

    Hi
In Deployment Manager, I failed to upgrade more than one table at same time.
I tried to hightlight 4 tables and set the default action as Upgrade, and click File/Generate Deploy. It passed the code generation step then I click Deploy, they are all failed with no error message.
But they are all successful when I upgrade them one by one. Any one has any idea about this?
For the known reason, we have no choice to do the deployment with action of 'upgrade' through OMBPlus, instead, can only do that interactively through OWB Client. I can't imagine to ask our Production side DBA to upgrade 80 tables one by one. Or I have to use the generated scripts to do the upgrade, which will resulted in 'no deploy status updated' in OWB. Any help will be very appricated.
The version I'm using is OWB 10g.
    Thanks,
    Daming

    Hi
First of all, Patrick's solution doesn't work for me. I didn't do cloning and there is no problem when check the WB tables.
Second, I think your solution is only good for the developing environment just to get tables upgrade via deployment manager. In most cases, when you do a new release on PROD environment you just exp/imp the MDL file from DEV to PROD and any developing is not recommended on PROD. But your approach is trying to manually the DB, and then EDIT the mapping to do the Reconcile and then deploy. Surely you can do that if you have full control on your PROD side. However, in my situation, I have no access to the PROD for the security reason and an DBA Operator of the Client is responsible to implement my Migration process on PROD by himself.

  • Can I use a magic trackpad with more than one Mac at a time?

I am attempting to pair a MTP with a second MacBook Pro.  So far I can't get system preferences to find the MTP.
I am wondering whether the MTP can be paired with only one Mac at a time, and that this is why my MBP won't find it.
The reason I am thinking this is because the little booklet that comes with the MTP says 'after you pair your MTP with a Mac, you can pair it again with a different Mac.  To do this, you first remove the existing pairing and then pair the trackpad again'.
    Can anyone advise, please?
If it can be paired with more than one MBP at a time, any suggestions why my system preferences search for the MTP is not producing any results?
    Thanks

Yes, your keyboard, mouse or trackpad can be paired with multiple Macs.  You can even have multiple keyboards, mice or trackpads paired with one Mac.  The caveat is that the device can only be connected to one Mac at a time.  The device can't be paired or connected with a Mac while it's currently connected to another.
Pairing a device with 2 Macs will be troublesome if the Macs are located within 33 ft of each other.  The device will connect with the first available paired Mac and then unavailable to the second.   If the Macs are located outside the 10meter range, it's quite easy to power off the keyboard (forcing a disconnect) then walking the keyboard to Mac 2 and powering the keyboard on.   I do this with a keyboard from my iMac to a Mac Mini in another room.

  • Query to read more than one aggregate at same time - is it possible?

    Hi,
We have 2 aggregates set up. One contains data for 2007, the other for 2006. These are restricted by setting fixed values for 0CALYEAR.
When running a query for a single year the correct aggregate is picked up depending on which year is input.
When running the query for a range which spans both years then no aggreagate is picked up and the cube is then read.
Is there a system setting somewhere (RSADMIN table possibly?) which allows for multiple aggregates to be used when query is executed?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Rodolphe,
    Thanks for the answer.
Unfortunately we have too many queries against the cube in question to have to create and utilise restricted key figures per year.
I'm looking for a quick fix solution here if it exists - i.e. a parameter setting possibly.
I of course always use RSRT when testing the use of aggregates.
When I enter the range of years I get the following message:
    Not possible because -
'____Characteristic/attribute 0CALYEAR does not have aggregation level */%'
This is displayed against both the aggregates for 2006 and 2007.
When using only one year then it correctly finds the aggregate for that year.
    Thanks,
    Steve

  • How do I highlight more than one thing at a time on a Mac please

how do I highlight more than one thing at a time on a Mac please

Do you mean items in Finder?
To highlight (select) a whole block of items :
    - click the top item you want
    - hold down Shift
    - click the bottom item you want
The whole range from top to bottom will be highlighted
    To select random items :
    - click the first item
    - hold down the Command key
    - click any more items anywhere in the list
Just the items you clicked will be highlighted
This technique works also in apps like iTunes, iPhoto, etc.

  • Can I install photoshop cs5 on more than one computer, if "owned" by a different user?

I want to install my recently purchased photoshop cs5 on my macbook, as well as my imac. The only thing I worry about is that the macbook is in my name and the imac is technically in my dad's name, even though he only uses it to surf the web. The only reason he even bought the imac as opposed to anything else is so that I'd have a great place to edit photos. I really need it to be on both, will this work? Anyone have experience with this?

This is what I was able to dig out
May I use the software on more than one computer at a time?
The activation process supports installation on two machines. The Adobe product license agreement allows the primary user to install the product on a primary computer and also on a home or laptop computer for his or her use, provided that the two copies are not used simultaneously. While the activation process supports installing and activating Adobe software on two machines, the usage of the product on the second computer is restricted to the user who licensed the software. Allowing others to use a second copy of the software violates the product license agreement.

  • How do I install Lion on more than one Mac

How do I install Lion on more than one Mac?  As I have a MacBook Pro and a iMac?

Purchase Lion on one of the machines.
Log in to the MAS with the other machine, using the same Apple ID you originally bought Lion with. Go to the Purchased Tab and Lion should be available for download. It should say Install.
It's possible that you will be asked for credit information as a form of verifying who you are.

  • Synching with more than one mac?

I want to synch my Touch with iCal and Address Book on more than one mac. Is there a way to do this? Can I somehow rename the iTunes on each mac the same name so it thinks all the macs are the same mac?
    Thanks.

This is kind of annoying. Well, actually it is VERY annoying. I admit I don't quite understand this concept.
So if I go to my friend's house for a party and I want to play my tunes on his computer I, how does that work? I have to erase my iPod to be able to talk to his computer?
I know I could travel around with a cable with a mini plug at each end but sweet marie. My iPod Classic can speak to whichever computer I please.
If I had actually paid for my iPod I would take it back.
    Am I over reacting?

  • Can I photocast to more than one .Mac account?

Is there a way for me to choose which .Mac I'd like to photocast to from iPhoto? I have more than one .Mac account and would like to share different albums to different .Mac accounts.

I believe that iPhoto uses the account which you have entered in the .Mac section of the System Preferences
In order to make iPhoto use the other account it seems like you will need to change the details in the .Mac Preferences

Ex, purchase OSX Mountain lion once, insstall it on 10 devices.
There isn't a limit. That 10 device limit is for content from the App Store (ie iTunes Store), not the Mac App Store—two different places; two different license agreements.

  • IChat AV with NAT and more than one Mac

I am a bit confused about firewall settings for iChat AV. I have a netgear FVS328 router. Obviously to have iChat working, I first open the firewall on my mac (Tiger) for the appropriate ports. Then I defined a service on the router and a rule to open those ports. It works... however, I have an issue.
In the router firewall setup I had to give an LAN IP Address to which packets for those specific iChat ports would be forwarded. Now, I understand this when a connexion is ignited from the Internet and (for example) you would want all HTTP trafic on port 80 to go to your web server. But here I have more than one mac behind my firewall. Moreover, they get there address by DHCP. I can't change the firewall setting each time I want to chat from a different computer!
I tried to have a look at port triggering, but it doens't seem to exist on the netgear. But even though, I would have to specify an IP address on my LAN.
Why is this needed since basically both iChat parties are already connected to .Mac so the connexion is made!
I am also wondering how they manage that kind of problem in Internet cafes where they certainly do not have a fixed Internet IP address for each PC or Mac available!

It is not possible to port forward the same port number to more than one computer on any router that does NAT. It is impossible for the router to know which of the computers to send it to and sending it to both would confuse the software.
Think of it another way all post for a particular house is delivered by a postman. Once posted in the mailbox someone picks it up and ensures it reaches the correct person by the name written on the post. Now if you have 2 John Smiths in the same house nobody will know which one it is for. The same applies to the port numbers on the router. Some applications allow you to select a unique range of ports for each computer so you can organize a unique port for each computer but iChat doesn't.
