Photoshop CC opens Application Manager, says "Sign in Required", not working. Help?

Photoshop CC today opens Adobe Application Manager, says "Sign in Required", but with correct info gives error message. Also, CC desktop not working. I haven't had any problem in the previous two months. I also was just build two weeks ago, and had to update my billing information. I tried online chat, after 30 minutes of typing, I've been disconnected twice. The funny thing is, Photoshop CC does open, and it works fine. However this message is irritating concerning. I'm on a Mac running the latest operating system and hardware.

Please Update CC App from following link:
http://www.adobe.com/appsmanager/index.html and then try signing in.
Do let us know if it works for you.

  • Im trying to install photoshop but the application manager says its up to date. What does it mean?

Ive just bought a year subscription to creative cloud so that I could use photoshop for editing. When I try to down load the software it says its up to date but there is currently no photoshop on my computer.
I did use the free trial some time ago but I since removed it. How do I reinstall photoshop?

Mac or Win? How did you remove the previously installed Photoshop trial? Did you use the uninstaller, or did you just drag it to Trash?
The Application Manager finds signs that Ps is already installed on your machine. Do you have any other Adobe creative software installed as well?
I think that it might be best to remove all traces of and then attempt a fresh reinstall. Use http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html to clean up your system and reinstal the software.

  • Paid Subscription (Photoshop for Photographers)- Application Manager Says Otherwise

After wanting to smack my MacBook multiple times, I keep getting a very grumpy message from my application manager insisting that my subscription is expired. Now, had I not JUST paid my bill a week or so ago, I would understand this. Also keep in mind a few days ago my Photoshop was working fine. And upon checking my account, everything is still active. Help?

sign out and then back in to your cc app using the same adobe id used to subscribe/pay for you subscription, Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app

  • Application Manager says Acrobat X is installed when it isn't.

I had CS5.5 installed on my Mac, and then I also installed CS6 via the Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manger to try it out. After deciding to sign up to the CC license, I used the Adobe uninstaller to delete CS5.5. That went smoothly, but now Acrobat X is gone (as it should be after running the CS 5.5 uninstaller) and the new Adobe Application Manager says that Acrobat Pro X is INSTALLED. I can't seem to find a way to reset AAM and get it to recognize that Acrobat is actually now uninstalled and install it again.
Any thoughts and help on the matter would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I'm moving this thread over to our installation forum.

  • Application manager says LR up-to-date, but LR says update available

    (Mac OS Mountain Lion)
I am a Creative Cloud subscriber. My application manager says that lightroom is up-to-date; however, lightroom reports itself as version 4.1 and notes the availability of the 4.3.
The Main Question: How do I (safely) upgrade to 4.3?
-- Can I just download and install the lightroom upgrade? Or will this mess-up my creative cloud installation?
Thanks very much for your help.

Lsfinn you have two choices on how to proceed.
First you can remove your current installation and redownload and install Photoshop Lightroom from your Adobe Application Manager.  The version available through the Adobe Application Manager was recently updated to 4.3.
Your second option is you can download and install Photoshop Lightroom 4.3 from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=113&platform=Macintosh.  The installation of the update will utilize the licensing information available in Lightroom 4.1.

  • Why does Application Manager say "Try" for Acrobat XI Pro?

If I have a Creative Cloud subscription, why does the Application Manager say "Try" for the Acrobat XI Pro app? Shouldn't I be able to upgrade my existing X Pro version? I have tried in the past, but it will not work after download.

Re-reading my post from Saturday, I thought I could add some more detail about what I am actually seeing.
When I launch Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8.2, the standard Acrobat window providing options for the next actions I can take with Acrobat - Open a file, combine files into a PDF, etc. - appears briefly and then Adobe Application Manager launches automatically.  AAM shows me a window labeled "Adobe Acrobat XI."  At the top of the window area is the title "Serial Number Upgrade," and the text below that headline states, "Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer."  It goes on to state, "To use this serial number, you must own one of these qualifying products. Please choose the one you own and enter its serial number."
Below that there is a drop-down menu titled "Select a product," which lists the following products:
    Adobe Acrobat X Standard
    Adobe Acrobat XI Standard
    Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard
    Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard
    Adobe Acrobat X Pro Macintosh
    Adobe Acrobat X Pro Windows
    Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional Macintosh
    Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional Windows
    Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional Macintosh
    Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Windows
    Adobe Acrobat 3D V8
    Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended
    Adobe Acrobat X Suite
Next to this drop-down menu is a text entry block for the serial number.
Below that is the text, "If you have registered products in the past, you can go to you account page to find your serial number. Contact Customer Support for further assistance."
My next step will probably be to do another complete uninstall and reinstall to see if that changes anything.

Application Manager says Muse is "installed". It is not. I found a legacy beta copy of Muse I had downloaded a long time ago, so I erased it and all of its files. That did not work. What to do? I purchased cloud in part for Muse?

I'm sure ther Muse forum contains instructions on how to do this the right way similar to this one for PS CS& Public Beta:

  • Creative Cloud : Flash did not install but Application Manager says the program is "Up to Date"

I tried to instal Flash via the Application Manager the other day, my laptop went to sleep during install and when I woke it back up again the installation had frozen. I closed the manager and rebooted my laptop. The application manager now says that Flash installed and is "Up to Date"
But the application is not on my laptop... I looked in the adobe folder and there is nothing for flash. Searching comes up with no results.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app manager but the same thing appears, I have no way to reinstall Flash. If you have any ideas please let me know!
    Thank you!

    Hi Jeff,
I am having a similar issue. Application manager says these programs are installed: Ps, Ae, Dw, Sg, Pl, Creative Cloud, but only Air and Premiere show in the Programs and Features panel as having been installed. The directories are all there, too, under Programs, but the programs won't run (nothing on start menu or in the programs list from that).
In addition, you say to uninstall the Application Manager, but it's not listed on the installed programs either. If I click on the downloaded file for it's intallation, it simply runs the program, as if it's already installed. Shouldn't it be under Progams and Features as an uninstallable program?
So, first, how do I uninstall the Application Manager? I like the idea of using this simple interface, so would like to continue to use it again after re-install.
Second, I would try manually installing the programs that are missing, but I don't know if that's safe considering the targeted directories are already full of files and data, as if they were installed, but didn't register properly with Windows to be able to be run.
I am not blaming Adobe on this, by the way, but I suspect that, because it was taking so long to install all the listed programs, I left the computer on and went to sleep, and possibly some power-saving feature interrupted the installation progress. It's a brand-new, very fast laptop, a Lenovo Y500 with Windows 8, and I just don't know how to control everything on it yet.
    What to do?

  • Application Manager says "Up to date" but running 12.0

I installed the 12.2 update on my computer at work just fine.
But when I got home I tried to install it there as well. Ran the Application Manager and it downloaded the update and procedded to install it. I ran DW when it finished, but the update is not there. Now the Application Manager says my DW install is up to date, but when going to About DW it reads 12.0, not 12.2 and I do not have the Edge Web Fonts integration at home.
So my question is how do I run the update again? I have checked the Hosts file, Certificate, and Firewall. Nothing is blocked. All my other updates ran fine, but DW will not apply this 12.2 update for some reason.
I am running Windows 7 6-bit4 Pro with 32GB RAM and more HDD space than is necessary for an average home users PC (4TB).
    Thanks,
    Joe.

12.2 is Cloud only. The Creative Suite version is 12.0.3.
Which version are you running at home?

  • Adobe Application Manager says Lightroom is installed. Its not.

I have been migrating my apps to a new drive and now I cant install Lightroom couse Adobe Application Manager says Lightroom is installed allready. What to do???

We have to Re-name the OOBE folder and so we will be able to install the software from AAM, once it is installed we can undo the OOBE folder.
    Mac HD> Application support > Adobe> OOBE
    For 32 bit :  C:\Program Files > Common Files > Adobe\ OOBE
    For 64 bit: C:\Program Files( X 86) > Common Files > Adobe\ OOBE
You can re-name the OOBE folder as OOBE.old.
Note: Please don't forget the Re-name the OOBE.old as OOBE once the software is installed.
