Photoshop CC 'save as' not working

I have just lost three days work due to the 'save as' command not working. This is an absolute disgrace. Please, Adobe, get the simplest basic functions of your software working BEFORE all the fancy bells and whistles. Outrageous!

Yes, thanks. I was pointing towards permissions issues hoping that Adobe might cough up the reason for the problem. You are right but I am now trying to remember if this has appeared through updates or if it has happened since the start back in the spring? My feeling is that CC in general has become more unstable with successive updates, I really do wonder if constant development is going to prove to be an Achilles heal?
I understand what you mean about external drives. It makes me wonder - there is a removal SSD on the same system and I wonder if the 'hot unplug' feature is doing something odd. I am saving to a fixed drive though or sometimes a raid system.
I will try the 'preferences' ploy. Thanks for that. It makes no difference in which file format I am trying to save. It is very odd as if I 'save as' immediately followed by 'save' it works fine. Another thing to remember to do.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 does not work with Yosemite 10.10

My Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 does not work with Yosemite 10.10 nor does my Premier Elements 12. When I try to start them up I get the error message. After uninstalling and reinstalling a few times its still the same. Strangely enough PSE 11 seem to work with Yosemite. I uninstalled my Premier Elements as well and it behave the same way. How do I get a new copy of Premier Elements 12 to reinstall?

Just to further test what is happening to my iMac on Yosemite is I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CC and when I go to launch it it gives mr the same error message as when I try to launch PES 12 or Premier Elements 12. So whatever the problem is it involves all three and so upgrading to Photoshop CC doesn't even help. Could there be an Adobe file damaged or missing somewhere that is common to these and yet does not effect Revel and Lightroom?

Filter Gallery in Photoshop CS 6 is not working

Filter gallery in photoshop CS 6 is not working. I have Photoshop CS 5 also on this machine and Filter Gallery works on it. Also, I have Photoshop CS6 on a laptop and it works on it.
My file is RGB 8 bit color. I have reset Photoshop using Ctl+Shift+alt
When I go to the Filter Gallery filters the object is not changed. Not a thing!
My CS6 is fully updated.

What operating system are you using?
Could you post a screenshot of the filter gallery?
The only thing that comes to mind right now, if your not seeing a change in image in the filter gallery dialog, is maybe you have the eye next to filter name off.

I have a Satellite A660-11M and I work on Windows 7 Ultimate
The problem is that I have download all drivers and updates but the toshiba power saver does not work its installed with no error and TPSLaunch (green icon) does not open when I click on it and no icon I found in the control panel for the program afterIi install all the Value Added Package!

Toshiba Power Saver is only for XP installations, you can't install the XP Drivers (and most Vista Drivers) in Windows 7.
Make sure all your drivers are for the A660, and make sure they are for Windows 7.

Hot corners enabling screen saver/ ss not working; restart they're working

Hi, for no discernable reason, my hot corners which are set to start secreen saver were not working; neither it seemed was my screen saver turning on. My computer seemed simply to be going to sleep from the screen image of the desktop without benefit of having gone through the screen saver cycle first. I ran disk utility and verified permissions. Then I did the old pc trick of rebooting the computer. That seemed to have done it. My hot corners are working the way they were set up to function. Por Que? Why is my PB G4 behaving like a PC?

Had the same problem and here's what worked for me:
Navigate to System Preferences/Desktop & Screen Saver/ and click the Hot Corners button.
I generally set the bottom left corner to Start Screen Saver, with all of the other corners set to minus. I temporarily set the top left corner to Disable Screen Saver, and after moving the mouse pointer into that corner, I was then able to use my bottom left corner again to start my screen saver.
I put the top left corner back to minus.
Simple enough and good luck!

Im a little bit confused about your posting First you write about Power Saver and then about green icon Which one you mean exactly and whats the problem?
If you mean Eco mode you have to install Eco Utility from official Toshiba website.

After installing lion, my screen saver does not work

I installed lion, now my screen saver does not work. I have tried all the hot corners, nothing. Dashboard and mission control work fine but cannot start screen saver.

.svgz web preview in save options not working

Hi there
I'm a longtime Photoshop / After Effects type with rather less experience in Illustrator, using a newly built PC system
I've just gone to save a diagram created in Illustrator as a .svgz in order to pass to the web guy, but wanted to preview it first, so hit the Web Preview button in the Save dialogue box.... and nothing happens. I have several browser windows opn - IE9 64bit, Chrome - but the svgz appears in none of them
I presumed maybe I need to link Illustrator to a particular web browser somehow, but can't seem to find reference to how to do this, if it is necessary...
How do I get the web preview to happen?
All help appreciated...

I'm using Illustrator CS5 on Win 7 64 bit, and I cannot get Web Preview to work when suning Export, and exporting a file to Flash swf with frames. I have IE set on the Save for Web option, but no such option exists in the Export dialogue box. This option worked fine for the teacher in the help video that shows how to animate a snowboarder graphic when exporting to svf, but I cannot find anything dealing with this in the forums. Are you aware of why this is not working and how to implement it?

My name is Sara Lopez Martin, from Madrid. I have an educational license CS6 Production Suite.
All suite programs work fine except Photoshop which does not work.
Open but not save formats, does not work in 3D.
I uninstalled the entire Suite and I have reinstalled and everything works except photoshop.
My computer is an i7, Nvidia Quadro 4000, 24 gb of RAM. OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
