Photoshop CC Toolbar buttons sticking.. getting stuck on single click

Toolbar buttons get stuck in dropdown menu with single click... it's extremely irritating especially being in photoshop all day. I have to click the intended tool button twice in order to get rid of the drop down menu options. I realize it should do this when I double click or hold down click.. but not when I simply want to select a tool with a single click. I've tried everything. Please help!

Try resetting the tools:
Also try changing the mouse settings such as double click speed..

Reset Home button steps:
(1) Tap Settings App, when it is open:
(2) Hold Power button until "slide to power off" bar appears.
(3) Don't slide it, release power button.
(4) Gently, continuously press Home button for few seconds until home screen appears.
(5) Done.
If this does not help, further points to Hardware Problem.

Why does iTunes SUCK??
1) Many items greyed out in the menu bar, for well over 2 years, maybe more!
2) I Can't drag more than one piece of content from your iTunes library to any device (iPhone, iPad)
If you do it gets stuck for HOURS and HOURS in "Preparing To Update" and the little activity circle never completes, ever!!
I used to be able to drag over 1000 tunes, movies, etc. go have breakfast come back and it would all be on my device!!
Can't do it anymore, one song at a time, maybe an album at a time, or one movie, and that is it!!
If you do a 2nd item the other items stop loading and never continue!!
This is so BAD, I don't understand how they don't have this fixed yet!!
Please tell me I am not the only one!!
...and If I am tell me how to fix it!

My wireless usb mouse freezes or gets stuck on right click/drag

My wireless usb mouse has been getting stuck on right click and/or drag, or the right click just freezes and becomes unusable. Sometimes, my mouse jumps erratically and opens anything that the arrow crosses. I can't use my trackpad because it's broken, but the trackpad itself isn't causing any problems. My system preferences for mouse and trackpad are all fine. My bluetooth is turned off in accordance with the recommendations of people having similar problems. My anti-virus programs don't detect a macro virus or any other problems. Only restarting in safe mode temporarily solves the problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?
Some people have suggested this may be caused by a swollen battery. However, my laptop is a somewhat more recent model and I don't have a portable/removable battery, so I can't solve the problem by taking it out and back in as some people have. Other suggestions?

Update: I've also tried repairing permissions and that doesn't help.
I've experimented with other mouses just to see if there'd be a difference, but the problem is definitely with the computer. All plug-in or wireless mouses have the same results. Right click still won't work.

No it is not common.
If the device is so new, why would you not take it to Apple? Did you possibly spill something on the device that could have caused the button to become sticky?

Photoshop works just fine on my apple mac at work, but whenever I try to open it at home I go to open a file and the loading symbol comes up and gets stuck, causing it to not respond.

Try reseting the preferences. Start PS and immediately hold down the option cmd and shift keys. Should get a reset window.

Files get open with single click sometimes

I recently started having this problem. When I browse through different image/video files, some of the files get open with one click only. This is really very annoying. I am event thinking to migrate back to Windows because of this problem.
How to reproduce the issue:
-> Open a folder that contains many images/video files
-> Click on anyone of them to select it
-> Now click outside the window. So, the finder goes out of the focus (but should stay visible)
-> Now, inside finder click any other image/video just once, it will open up automatically with just single click

If you have access to a mouse, try using it. If everything is okay using the mouse, then it is likely trackpad related. Other troubleshooting.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application unistaller. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

Photoshop CS3 crashing and installation getting 'stuck'

Last week Photoshop CS3 started crashing when trying to select a new file to open.
This didn't seem related to any particulr file and appeared to be random.
Error message was "an unrecoverable problem has occurred, Photoshop will now quit"
Actully it didn't quit and had to be force quit.
This was happenning sporadically, but today it happened every time I tried to open any image file.
Thinking it was a good idea to re-install, I tried that but the installation got 'stuck' and couldn't be completed.
A few minutes into the installation, prompts appeared asking for the CS4 Flash disk [which we bought seperately]
and then asked for the CS3 Application disk again. That disk was put in the drive and a minute or so later it asks for the CS3 Application disk.
Which is the disk it already has...
Has anyone else had this odd situation and found a solution?

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.

My home button is getting stuck. I've purchased the express replacement plan and am now being told I didn't. I love my iPhone but will not continue to pay for services over and over. I need my phone fixed but will not pay again.

Apple does not have an "express replacement plan" so are you talking about the AppleCare program? If so, and you did purchase that warranty extension, contact the plan by http://www.apple.com/support/applecare

Button doesnt get disabled if page clicked twice

I am new to JSF. I have a command button in my page which is disabled based on user permission. The command button code is:

Now when i go to the page with user having read-only access, the button is disabled perfectly fine.
But, when I go to the page again (by clicking the same URL), without going to any other page, the button is not disabled.
For Ex:
I have two pages page1.xhtml (which have 'Read-Only' button) and page2.xhtml
1. If I access page1.xml (http:<hostname>:<port>/myapp/page1.faces), the button is read-only. If I again click http:<hostname>:<port>/myapp/page1.faces, the button is now editable.
2. If I access page1.xml (http:<hostname>:<port>/myapp/page1.faces), the button is read-only, If I then go to Page2.xhtml and come back to Page1.xhtml, the button is readonly correctly.

figured it out....it was becuase the layer that had the MC engage on it had keyframes all the way to the end of the timeline.....

Magic mouse gets stuck on right click mode even though I've de-selected right click

Sometimes every time I try and click on links, the menu bar pops up, as if I've pressed right click. Usually have to restart system.

Update: I've also tried repairing permissions and that doesn't help.

The home button on my iPhone 4 gets stuck in when pressed

Periodically when i am using my iphone and i press the home button it get stuck in and is very difficult to get back out. This doesnt happen every time i use the home button but it is happening more and more frequently. It started happening about a month before the iphone warranty ran out and i didnt think much of it. However now the iphone has been out of warranty for a month it seems to be happening more and more frequently. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix my iphone?

Even though it is out of warranty, take it into a nearby Apple Store (or email/call Apple) and ask somebody about it. It may be you are pressing to hard, or there is a fault inside the button which is causing it to get stuck sometimes.

Problems installing Photoshop CS4, keeps getting stuck on "installing Adobe Air." Tips?

I'm trying to install Photoshop CS4, but it keeps getting stuck on "installing Adobe Air" every time. Freezes, makes no more progress, eventually I have to force quit. I've even downloaded and installed it (Air) separately, but it keeps getting stuck on it in the CS4 install. Any tips? I'm running 10.8.5 on a MacBook Air. Saw something about deleting Adobe FlashPlayer to maybe fix it? Any and all tips welcome. Thx.

Googling only comes up with a couple things where someone was trying to
install a cracked version they downloaded, so it could be a corruption
problem.
If this is a downloaded installer, then redownload it and try installing,
again.
If you are inserting a DVD and autoplay is starting up and you get this
message, you can shut down the installer process as you've done then instead
of double-clicking the DVD, use right-click Explore to view the files
directly on the DVD without running AutoPlay, then find the setup.exe or
something.MSI with EN in it's name to run the installer, directly, without
goint through autoplay. This would only make a difference if the autoplay
is corrupted somehow but everything else is ok. Since your error message
talks about autoplay then maybe that is the case.
If you are calling Adobe for support, it can take hours, depending on when
you call.

Ipod touch home button getting stuck

My ipod touch home button is getting stuck sometimes and i need to know what can be done? (It's out of warrenty)
I'm going to an apple store tomorrw to see what they ca do but i thought i'd ask here first so i know roughly what do expect.

ToolBar Button State

Hello,
i am working on the TestStand 4.0 User Interface with C#.
Now i have built a ToolBar under the MainMenu. I can invoke the Commands by clicking ToolBar Buttons, and get the actual state (enable/disable) of most buttons, except Cut/Copy/Paste.
I don't think that the TestStand API or UI provides any method to indicate the custom UI Controls state. My last hope is to catch all WM_LBUTTONDOWN and WM_RBUTTONDOWN messages in the Sequence- and Variable-View. If something editbar is selected, set the Cut/Copy/Paste state to enable.
Have somebody better idea? Thanks!

I have used the ToolStrip in Visual Studio 2005.
I have tried setting a timer with interval of 2000 ms, it worked, but i don't think it is a efficient way. You know, the TS 4.0 is using much memory.
I will try your suggestion (b), it is really a clever solution.
