Photoshop CC will not update. Have tried several things.
I know this keeps coming up, but so far I haven't been able to get Photoshop to update since CC was installed in August. First of all, this was a brand new computer with no bloatware when CC was first installed on it.
Here's a list of pertinent information and things I've tried to resolve the issue.
Photoshop CC 2014 - Windows 7 Professional 64bit - SP1
Does not update to newer versions ... stuck on 2014.0 - all other CC apps I've installed update no problem
- Tried updating through the Creative Cloud App & the Adobe Application Manager (from inside Photoshop) - both failed with Error Code: U44M1I210
- Tried uninstalling and reinstalling ("Installation succeeded, but a patch failed")
- Reinstalled the Adobe Application Manager (this unregistered all the CC apps that were installed so they did not show up in the CC app anymore - had to reinstall them)
- Renamed "C:\Users\mediapc\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0" so AAM wouldn't find it, restarted windows, ran the CC App with admin privileges and tried again... still did not work
- Tried extracting the setup.zip but it gave a couple of errors so I skipped those parts. After which I tried running the "AdobePatchInstaller.exe". It ran, but the update failed with "Adobe Photoshop 2014.2.2 - Installation failed. Error Code: U44M2P7"
- Tried renaming Adobe PCD,backup, & caps folders in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe" then tried updating again... that also did not work. (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1315768)
- Tried renaming the OOBE folder in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe" (http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/cannot_update_photoshop_cc_to_14_1_1) But that kept the AAM from working, so I restored it.
- Tried turning off AVG AntiVirus and updating after removing previously downloaded patch restarting PC - "Update Failed - Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press Retry to download again.(U44M1I210)
- Tried running "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe" as Administrator
- Tried Solution 1 & 3 from http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1i210-installing-updates-ccm.html

- Copied 'C:\Users\mediapc\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\Install\AdobePhotoshopCC2014-15.0\15 .2.2\setup.zip' to the desktop. unzipped it (had two files that failed to extract, so I clicked 'skip'). copied the unzipped folder to the original location, ran the AdobePatchInstaller.exe and (of course) the update failed with Error Code: U44M2P7
- Solution 2 from http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1i210-installing-updates-ccm.html is annoying because it is "Download the update from Adobe.com" and I cannot find an update for Photoshop CC - I found the download page (Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows), but it refers CC updates to the CC app page and clicking download on the CC app page simply opens the CC Desktop App.

1. deleted any new fonts i installed

I did this:
Start up your computer using another disk.

Select the startup disk you want to repair in the list of disks and volumes, then click First Aid.

My iPhone 4S screen is suddenly not reacting. The screen has turned a light blue color but nothing is happening. I have tried several things such as holding the power button, plugging it into the wall, and plugging it into my computer. What should I do?
Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.

Do you really mean the Nikon D60 which shipped in 2008? Was it purchased secondhand?
The Nikon D60 was first supported in Adobe Camera Raw 4.4.
Photoshop CS4 ships with Camera Raw 5.0 so it can read D60 NEF files out of the box. No updates required.
If you do mean the D60 then something else must be going on. e.g. are you using Nikon software to transfer files from camera to computer? -
I cannot get itunes to work/install on myPC. I am running windows 8 in a 64 bit machine. I also want to purchase books via itunes for my Nook. Are you deliberately excluding PC owners so we cannot use ituens on our computers???? I have selected a community but have no idea what community I should be working with. Can somone explai these communities to me? Also. you don't allow much time to go thru the sign up process. I had to start over SEVERAL times as you kept timing me out. Jesus...when people are signing up for the first time, we have no idea of the questions that will be asked. Give us a break and give us time to sign up. Not everone is disability free and able to go thru your process quickly...you are NOT user friendly. You should be for people who are wanting to join your community. I used to want an Apple product but now that I have had first hand experience with your web page, I think I will probably stay away from Apple products. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Photoshop CC will not update.
When I click to update it usually goes to 57%, (at times more) then I get message in red letters "Update failed, Error code U44M1P7. I have tried several times on different days and always same result. Can I get some help with this to update Photoshop CC? I have purchased a one year subscription to Creative Cloud. It is installed on this computer, but I have upgraded one computer to a 6 core i7 Intel processor and I would like to use Creative Cloud to edit some more of my home videos in my home. Is that possible and permitted. How do I access and use my CC subscription on my second computer? Thank you.

I am getting message Safari can not open page. Server stopped responding. I have tried several suggestions but they have not worked.
This is on an iPad, correct? Are you sure you have a network connection? Is your iPad Wifi or Wifi & 3G? I know these might seem like dumb questions, but we've got to narrow it down to get a solution. If you're absolutely positive you have an active network connection we can move on to other things.

Help! Itunes not recognizing Ipod Nano. Have tried several things already.
Itunes does not recognize my ipod nano (6th generation). When I plug it in to the computer, nothing happens (except it charges). I have tried several of the recommendations (reinstalling itunes, resetting ipod, etc. etc.) I have Windows 7 on my computer with the latest version of Itunes. Interestingly, when I plug my Ipod into my other computer (which still has an older version of Itunes), it syncs right up and is recognized.

Thanks for your response DJ. I have Windows Vista and I'am getting NO error messages, crazy right? I just click on the organizer and it acts like its going to do something and then you wait and wait for maybe 30 minutes and it just doesn't move forward. I have been using the PSE programs for many years and have never encountered this problem! I have thousands of pictures on this program and its starting to freak me out that I cant access any of them! If you have any additional ideas please let me know. Thanks Julie

Just recently subscribed to the Photography Photoshop/Lightroom suite monthly subscription. I have not had any problems with updating until this last one for October. I have tried numerous times to update but I keep getting the same error message code: U44M1I210. Need help trying to figure this out so that I can update my Photoshop program.

Outgoing server settings entered correctly but will not update and tries to send under old settings
I can receive all of my emails correctly but can not send any emails. I have set up under a different program and it works fine. I have tried to update thunderbird by its settings and it does not provide any options?? I am running ubuntu 14.04lts.
My outgoing mail settings are correct but when thunderbird tries to send it uses old settings and does not update to the new mail server.

I-tunes will not open-have tried solutions from other posts
Hello all
My i-tunes 6 will not open on my computer. A few times at one point it flashed the user agreement and then died. It does appear in my windows task manager but only for a few seconds. I know some peopple have suggested a malware problem. I have been working with my brother, who makes a lving fixing other people's computers, and we cannot seem to isolate the malicious program causing the problem. There is an application in the msconfig utility that is called "qxjj" that will not delete. We believe this is the problem. I was wondering if anyone had encountered this particular program before and if they knew how to get rid of it. Ewido, spybot and microsoft anti-spyware have not appeared to get rid of it. there's a Qoologic variant that has been causing "error-less" itunes launch failure since late October. it's associated with the "license screen flash" symptom. it also drops randomly-generated-4-and-6-letter-name startup items in people's PCs.
Ewido and AdAware have typically been getting rid of it for people, so it's a bit disturbing that they aren't touching it in your case. however, we also have a "manual" removal technique that has been working for people. let's see if Dave's technique works for you:

Previous Recipients will not delete - have tried everything
I've removed from Previous Recipients list in the address line, in the drop down menu... I have removed the email addresses from the Address Book and still they keep coming back. On several occasions I'll delete it repeatedly from all areas and it keeps coming back as if I did nothing... It's like Groundhog Day....
