Photoshop CC windows 7 crashing

I have about 600 files to process in photoshop. Crop each and then run an action to do a few basics including save and close. If I open more than one file at a time I can process one file then as soon as I go to the next file, the program becomes unstable and crashes. Rebooted, updated program to latest (a raw file converter does nothing for me but wanna be up to date).
Here's the action:
size to 1x1.5 inch / brighten +15 / unsharp mask 50% / make CMYK / save as jpg / close
Previous files were all 640x800 RGB .tif
system info. Dell laptop Dual Core CPU | 2ghz | 64 bit with 4gb ram | 300 GB drive 68 GB free
I don't understand why there is an issue. Any thoughts you have will be appreciated.

I did complete the images but I had to crop each and save them then run the action on the folder. It would have been nice to actually complete this without making it two steps.

Photoshop CS4 has started crashing a year after it was installed on a Windows 8.1 laptop

I installed Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium on a laptop running Windows 8.1 a little over a year ago, and have been using Photoshop consistently since then with no issues. Starting a few days ago, Photoshop has begun continually crashing. It starts up ok, but as soon as I take any action, eg., changing a font, printing, creating a new layer, it crashes. As a result of reading the forums, yesterday I uninstalled the entire Creative Suite program and reinstalled it from an online download, restarting the laptop after uninstall and reinstall. Photoshop is sill crashing. Please advise on how to fix this.

If reinstalling the entire Creative Suite didn't help, then it sounds more like an operating system issue. Has the laptop ever frozen to the point where you had to take out the battery to restart? Windows is pretty good at recovering from that sort of thing nowadays, but not perfect.
How about background driver updates? I remember when we all installed the Windows 8.1 update, MS arbitrarily replaced our graphics drivers with a generic MS version, and suddenly our GPU acceleration was switched off.
You mention changing fonts, and that is a good contender. Run through this list to troubleshoot/eliminate that.

Hi! I run Photoshop CS6 extended, student edition and recently, I'm having an error every time I work with Photoshop. Windows Explorer doesn't respond. The screen freezes and it's lagging so much. Hi, I'm having Videotron security services, I don't know much more about it. It's from my Internet provider, I'm paying every month. I think windows defender is active on my computer. I desinstall the antivirus I had when I bought the computer, I think it was macfee. As I have my own security system, I got rid of it.
The problem is recent, a week or so. Everything was running perfectly. Might it be related to any windows updates?

Photoshop Elements 8 organizer crashes everytime I start it up

Hi,
I'm having a problem with the Photoshop Elements organizer (version 8) - every time I start it up it crashes right away. This has been happening since yesterday where I was uploading some photos to Smugmug via photoshop elements where it crashed for some reason, and now it is crashing everytime I open it. The editor, however, is working fine.
My pc is relatively new and I am running Windows 7.
Anyone got an idea about what is causing this issue and what I can try in order to fix it?

Try renaming the folder "Elements Organizer" and "Online Services". These folder are present at C:\Users\<current user>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe. After renaming these folders, application should launch without crashing.

Photoshop Elements 12 Editor crashing

A number of people have posted about Elements Organiser crashing but I have a problem with Photoshop Elements 12 Editor and would be grateful for any suggestions on how to resolve them. I have a 64bit Sony Vaio running Windows 7 OS. I have been using the software for a few months with no prior problems. Elements Organiser functions without any issues but when I try to launch Editor it crashes every time with the following error message.
“Photoshop Elements 12 Editor stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close this program and notify you if a solution is available.”
This happens when I launch Editor from Organiser (by selecting to edit a particular picture) or when I try to launch Editor from the Welcome menu.
Any advice gratefully received.

Has anyone found any info on stopping Photoshop & DreamWeaver CC from crashing?

Aodobe thinks the issue is that my DELL 620 i5 with 6GB RAM 2 TB drive 500GB scratch disk and Windows 7 64bit is the problem. However, since the system is just over a yr old I do not want toreplace it just to make the CC products run.So does anyone have any input or advice to keep Ps and Dw from crashing?
Note the CS6 editions ar3e working fine.

In order to use PS CC and Dw CC it sounds like I need to get a Windows 8 PC and laptop because CC will not run without problems on either my PC or laptop. I'm just a poor photograpgh so do not have the funds to replace hardware that's only a little over a year old. Is anyone else finding the CC product line "crashy"?

Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer crashes when importing m2ts files

When I import my collection of images and videos using "Import / From file and folders...", Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer crashes when importing one of my .m2ts files. When I debug it I get:
Unhandled exception at 0x1543025B (mc_demux_mp2_ds.ax) in PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe: 0xC0000094: Integer division by zero.
Is there a way for me to import m2ts files successfully? If not, then is there a way to skip importing these files.

I do not have any version of Premiere Elements installed.
I never removed any files. This is a clean installation from a couple months ago when I got my new hard drive.

My IT department installed photoshop CS6 - and it crashes so much it is unusable

Hi all-
I have a decent laptop for work, Dell with good specs, running windows 7.
Using photoshop CS6, the program crashes even with the most basic commands. Some hotkeys, or a soft brush will just shut it down.
It is really frustrating, as it is pretty much unusable with this issue.
I have illustrator CS6 - which is working fine.
Any ideas on what to do here? My IT team cant really help much :/

I updated photoshop myself, as well as the drivers per your reccomendation. I dont know of any plug-ins that I am using. And I am still getting a significant amount of program crashes.
about 90% of the time I can make it happen, but 10% of the time I cna use the program, lightly, and get somehting done.
Below is one warning I see occasionally when I open the program. I tried addressing it, but don't think I solved this completly...

Also, I noticed that for some reason, if I try to use help in photoshop, it dosent seem to think I am connected to the internet... Not sure if that is related at all..

Two different versions of Photoshop and Illustrator also crashing coincidentally?
Sounds like something's gone wrong on your system, rather than in Photoshop. What have you installed / configured / changed coincident with the appearance of the problem?
Maybe you could consider doing a Windows system restore (accessible via "Recovery").

I see you are running Windows Vista.You know that Vista is not supported for CS6, right? It is not prevented from running, but not supported.
That known, what video card do you have ? Do you have the most updated driver? My laptop is brand new and I had an outdated video driver right upon delivery.
Maybe that could help.

Ho installato l'ultimo aggiornamento di Mountain Lion (10.8.3) ed ho provato a lanciare boot camp per installare la mia versione di windows 8 PRO x64.
Il disco già lo avevo, quindi ho deselezionato la prima casella, poi il software ha scaricato e salvato su una pennetta da 2gb in formato FAT il software di supporto APPLE e mi ha dato la schermata del partizionamento.
Ho sistemato le 2 partizioni (su un disco da 1TB ho diviso 600 x Mac + 400 per WIN8, con soli 100GB già occupati da Mac) ed ho cliccato continua. Qui boot camp ha crashato e leggendo i dettagli sembra che dava errore di non accesso al disco...
Ho riprovato almeno 5 volte, ma va in crash sempre allo stesso posto, cioé quando accede al disco per partizionarlo... cosa faccio per risolvere?

Return the disk to a single OSX partition using Boot Camp Assistant, reboot the machine before and after, remove all external devices and try again.
