Photoshop CC2014 window scroll problem on MAC OS Yosemite

Since your today update of PS CC2014, i cannot move PS window from one display to the second one on MAC OS Yosemite.
The PS window seems to be opened as full screen and this is probably the reason.
On Yosemite if an application is opened full screen you can not move it.

You can change the location, I just wanted to be sure....
Since the issue is systemwide, I'd suggest dowloading and installing the 10.6.8 Combo.
This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before.
Remember to Verify Disk before update and repair permissions after update from /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.

You can't sign in because there is nothing to sign in to. For PSE 10 the only sign in was to photoshop.com, which has been dead and gone for a year and half. Just skip the sign in. Reinstalling will not change this.

Photoshop cc, timeline scrolling problem

in Photoshop cc, on the timeline, the button at bottom right that scrolls the project layers forward and back is stuck in the far right position. How do I get it unstuck?

Okay, I have a Mac. A window did pop up this time with cmd alt shift asking
if I wanted to delete my Photoshop settings. I hit yes. When Photoshop
opened I created a new file with the preset Film and Video and the timeline
has returned with the slider working properly. What is that slider button
called anyway? Also the blue action safe lines have returned as they were
missing earlier as well. Now will I have to reset all my shortcut keys?

ACR to Photoshop CS5 window focus problem.

Running Photoshop CS5 on Win7, both 64 bit. No problems for months, then recently this minor "annoyance" appeared.
I "host" ACR via Bridge, with the windows for all three apps maximized. I double-click a raw file in Bridge and ACR opens. I make my ACR adjustments, or not, and click "Open Image" to pass to Photoshop.
The images passes into Photoshop OK, but the Photoshop window does not receive "focus". Instead, the ACR window closes, leaving the underlying Bridge window displayed. But then no window has focus.
When I click once on the Photoshop tab, I get a screen flicker, like a window is being minimized, but the Bridge window remains displayed. I click again on the Photoshop tab and it comes up, full screen with focus.
If I take the ACR window out of "maximized" mode, the problem does not occur. Raw images pass from Bridge through ACR to Photoshop with proper window focus. Opening tif, psd, or jpeg images via Bridge is no problem. Only when raw images pass through a maximized ACR window does Photoshop fail to receive focus.
A few days ago I used the Windows 7 "snap" feature to place the Photoshop window and ACR window side-by-side. This is done by dragging a window off-screen until it turns blue and then releasing. I believe this action caused the problem I'm having now. I've unsnapped, resnapped, and unsnapped the Photoshop and ACR windows several times, hoping to clear the problem, but it remains.
Keeping the ACR window out of maximized mode is an easy work around, but the mystery remains and I hate mysteries.

I know how you feel, I've had a few problems like this with CS5. I can only think of two suggestions:
1. Disable Windows 7's fancy desktop (Aero peek, or whatever it's called) to see if that helps.
2. Make sure you're sorting by filename in Bridge. I have noticed that sorting by metadata causes Bridge to sometimes steal focus when it's not wanted. I love Bridge, but christ it needs a good sorting out.

Photoshop Elements 13 compatibility problems on Mac?

I used the trial version of Photoshop Elements 12. When I went to buy it the new version : 13 was out. I bought and downloaded it on my Mac and have not been able to get it to work. It says there are compatibility issues, but the system requirements say it should work? Anyone else having these issues?

UNfortunately we are out of town for the holiday and I forgot my computer. I was just trying to figure out this problem so I could fix it once I got home. I will send a picture of it as soon as I return. After my trial was over, the icon was gone off of my desktop. I didn't go into uninstall it. Do you think that will make a difference even though it's a different version? Thanks for all of your help! I'm new to Adobe and still trying to figure out my Mac as well! I appreciate your help!

Excel 14.4.7 problems on MAC OSX Yosemite

When I open an Excel spreadsheet I no longer can type, save, or do any function. Does this problem stem from an automatic upgrade to OSC Yosemite. My Excel program is part of Microsof Office 2011 that I purchased with my MAC 4 years ago.

Problem with Mac Mini Yosemite

I have a very important issue and I hope someone can help me.
Computer Desktop Mac Mini 2012 with a connected webcam with microphone.
It all works with FaceTime is that with Skype (video and / or microphone).
With calls through iPhone instead (new feature), the microphone does not work (also tried the iPhone headphones connected to the headphone port of the Mini).
May depend on what? It is not compatible with the Mini this new function not having a built-in microphone?

First, report problems with MacOS 10.10 to Apple so they can get the information they need to solve the problems introduced in MacOS 10.10.
Second, make sure FileVault is off (a few people have seen performance problems with it on).

Photoshop CC2014 and Windows 8 - click "drag" problem

So, I have recently started using the latest version of Photoshop CC2014 under windows 8.1 and I'm having this weird problem.
I'm using a Cintiq 24HD touch with latest drivers, and touch disabled. I have also disable any kind of click and hold windows has - for tablets and for touch input.

Still, when I try to make fine adjustments on sliders, I click and the slider simply does not move. This does not happen every click, but it happens often enough to be annoying as hell. It is happening everywhere, from panels to liquify window, to using the hand tool to navigate the image, and not only in sliders! Trying to make fine adjustments in liquify with your brushstroke jumping around is not fun.
I'm not sure what and where the problem is, but this simply does not happen in any other application (Photoshop CC; Sketchbook Pro, Paintstorm Studio, Krita).
Does anyone have any idea?

I have been using Photoshop on windows for more then 20 years on windows. Windows 95, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 7. I never installed Windows ME, Windows Vista or Windows 8. I have never seen any version of Photoshop change a displays brightness or even the image color when scaling or going from float to tab to single image with PS UI to full screen. However I hardly ever use Photoshop in full screen mode.
At different zoom views image may seem like the color change because of the scale of the image or the portion of the image that is on screen or the color of the border around the image.

PERFECT solution to Photoshop CC2014 configurator problem

Actually, this is the PERFECT solution to Photoshop CC2014 lack of configurator problem.
I looked around for some program that could put up a window on screen with a row of 'buttons' that you could could program and click on like configurator.
There may be one, but I couldn't find it. So I did a bit of lateral thinking and bought an external device that that has rows of real buttons that you can program with whatever keystroke combinations to like.
I bought a RAZER ORBWEAVER which is as gaming device, but works perfectly with Photoshop - Windows or Mac - and any other software you want shortcuts for. You can get them on Amazon for about $100 though I actually got mine on eBay. There are cheaper similar devices, but the Orbweaver seems pretty tough and gets good reviews. If there isn't a key shortcut for what you want to do, simply go to Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts in Photoshop CC2014 and create one (making sure you use a combination that isn't already in use) Then it's simply a matter of programming the 20 buttons on the Orbweaver to your chosen keystrokes. I have printed a chart to remind me of all the settings.
This means too, that no matter what Adobe do to future software (apart from eliminating ALL keystrokes) this solution is future proof.

Did also some lateral thinking and bought a ShuttlePRO v2...

Photoshop CC2014 in OSX Yosemite (Mac book pro retina 2014) crashes frequently and Merge to HDR does not work

My photoshop CC2014 on my Mac OSX Yosemite crashes all the time with random tasks. Now almost nothing works. Sometimes it stops working after doing random tasks like starting photoshop and i have to do a hard reset by putting the power off of my Mac pro retina (2014). After logging in again i got the message from Photoshop that graphics problem occurred with a Problem report I will post here. I also cannot merge to HDR from lightroom to photoshop & also in Photoshop in the file menu > automate merge to HDR pro. It 8 of 10 times it stops working and I won't select one of the brackets. I have to force quit photoshop. I think these instability problems started after updating to Yosemite but become worser everyday. I also disabled the graphics driver, put it on basic and enabled/disabled open gl, sometimes photoshop disables it automaticly. My osx is up to date so I don't have to update my graphic driver because these updates or done within the OSX update pane. I cannot add the Problem report file in this topic, How can I do this???

Have you installed all the Photoshop updates and MacOS 10.10 updates?
Disabling GPU usage in Photoshop should help with the video driver bugs in MacOS 10.10, until Apple can solve all the driver issues (yes, Apple knows about them and is working on solutions).
What does the long, detailed crash log say?
Also, anything that freezes, shuts down, or reboots the machine is not an application error - but caused by an OS bug, a low level driver bug, or faulty hardware. Applications simply cannot cause those symptoms on modern OSes.

Moving photoshop elements 12 and lightroom 5 from windows machine to a Mac Pro

Is it possible to transfer licence from the windows machine to the mac?
The Lightroom version does appear to be a windows/mac version but the serial number won't activate the product.
The Photoshop Elements was actually a windows version so perhaps that is more excusable.
But is one really expected to either buy this software again or just forget about them all together?

For Lightroom and Elements your license covers both Mac and Windows. You do need to install the appropriate version in each case however. I Windows version will not work on a Mac, and vice versa.

My Photoshop CC2014 is crashing as soon as I open the application. The application was installed on a windows 7 64 bit computer. Please help, log off and on from the cloud does not help to fix this problem.
