Photoshop crashes Illustrator and vice versa

I am using a G5 2 x 2.66 Ghz Dual-Core Intel Xeon with 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM and OS X Version 10.5.6. Problem is I can't have both Illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS2 open at the same timecan't work back and forth. I can for a while but something will trigger the crash of either orsaving a file usually. Doesn't matter if I am working on a server or from my desktop. Linked Photoshop files have nothing to do with it at all. Just the fact that both programs are open triggers the crash. Scenarios include not being connected to the Internet or a printer, having only system fonts loaded, having no other programs open and then the opposite of all those. Can't figure it out. It is like walking on thin ice. Thanks.

Also, if they were installed as part of Creative Suite 2, Version Cue probably tried to install, which is not compatible with Intel machines.
If you see a green leaf with a red X on it up on the Apple Menu Bar near the time, the Version Cue installed and needs to be removed, as it causes memory issues.
To remove it, close all Adobe programs, then Look in the Application folder, and see if there is a Adobe Version Cue CS2 folder. There usually isn't, but if there is, move it to the trash.
Then go to the MacHardDrive/Library/Preferences folder and move the com.adobe.versioncueCS2.plist file to the trash if present.
Then in the MacHardDrive/Library/PreferencePanes folder remove the VersionCueCS2.prefPane folder.
Finally, in the MacHardDrive/Library/StartupItems folder, trash theAdobeVersionCueCS2 folder.
Restart the system, then empty the trash.
Note that not all of these might be present, and that they would be in the main Library folder on the hard drive, not the users Library folder.

I'm hoping someone knows these sizes already and save me a bunch of time looking it up in various locations.
What should the frame size (640x480, 720x540 ect) settings be in Photoshop if I am creating graphics that will be imported into Final Cut Pro for the following sequence presets:
1. PS to a FCP DV NTSC 4:3 Preset
2. PS to a FCP DV NTSC 16:0 Preset
3. PS to a FCP DV NTSC Anamorphic Preset
4. PS to HDV Preset
5. PS to a DVCPro 4:3 Preset
6. PS to a DVCPRO 50 Preset
If there are any issues I need to be aware of such as saving with constrain porportions or not to or 16-bit vs 32-bit please share.

If you're working in any kind of 720x480 format - which includes DV NTC, DVCPro NTSC and DVCPro50 NTSC - then start with a 720x534 canvas. As the last step prior to export to FCP, resize your Photoshop file to 720x480. If you're working in an anamorphic 16:9 variant of any of the above codecs, start with an 864x480 canvas, then resize to 720x480 prior to exporting.
For HDV, start with a 1920x1080 canvas, though resize to 1440x1080 prior to exporting to FCP.
When you're resizing, be sure to uncheck Constrain Proportions before you alter the image size. Keep the Image Mode at 8 bits/channel.

This is typically caused by both devices sharing an Apple ID for iMessage and FaceTime. I would recommend signing out of iMessage on your daughter's device. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, and select Sign Out. Then sign in with the desired Apple ID.

By far the simplest way to do this is create separate accounts on the computer for each person. That way, you each log into your own separate account, sync your own device(s) to your own contacts/calendars/apps/music and so forth.

You can share the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: here
But for all other Apple services like:
FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud, etc, one of you should use a different Apple ID.

I have deleted the accounts and re-created them on both my iphone and macbook pro but the samething keeps happening.
When last I was at the istore, they were unable to sort it out and said I needed to book it in.
Any suggestions that will prevent me from booking my macbook pro in are welcome.

Or do you mean you are trying to get iMessage that were synced to one iPhone to show on another ?
Whilst the first is possible - from the date you add the second iPhone the second is not possible.

iCloud has nothing to do with messages (iCloud does include an email account, but not a messaging service). If you both use the same AppleID for iMessage, then you are sharing the same messaging account.
One of you needs to get an alternate AppleID, sigin out of iMessage, then sign in with the alternate AppleID. That way you will each have your own private iMessage accounts.

I don't know how you got to your current position, but you might want to start by replacing your calendar with your MacBook Pro calendar if it is correct (if it isn't, skip this): first disable calendar syncing on your phone (Settings>iCloud>Calendars set to OFF), then prior to syncing open iTunes on your computer and disable automatic syncing (under Preferences>Devices>Disable...from syncing automatically syncing). Next connect your phone and set your sync settings on the Info tab to Syc Calendars with iCal, and below under Advanced choose "Replace Information on this iPhone" and check Calendars. Now sync and this will hopefully replicate your MacBook calendar on your iPhone.
Next, carefully review this to see that you have correctly set up iCloud on both your phone and your MacBook: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/, and that your meet the minimum system requirements (latest version of iOS on your phone, latest version of iTunes, OSX Lion 10.7.2 or later).

How can i sync email deletions on my iPhone and iMac, and vice versa?

My email provider is Sky in the UK. While i am able to receive the same emails on both devices (imac and iphone) simultaneously, if I delete one on the iphone, it is not deleted on the iMac, and vice versa. I don't want to have to delete emails twice, once on each machine, but rather only once on one machine (and then that email would automatically disappear from the inbox of the other machine).
Is this possible? My sky account is IMAP on the Iphone, but POP on the IMAC. I tried changing it to IMAP on the iMac, but then i couldn't received email messages in MAIL on the iMac so reverted it back to a POP account.
Any advice appreciated. Spent way too many hours today trying to figure this out.

if it were imap on both, you'd be able to delete an email from one device and it would remove it from the other. they can't have different protocols and still sync with each other

The short solution is to go to Settings > FaceTime > iPhone Cellular Calls OFF.
