Photoshop CS 4 crashes any time a pdf is opened.
Regardless of the pdf file. (I have downloaded Adobe PDF's from Adobe.com) my copy of PS CS4 will crash on opening any pdf.
I'm guesssing it's some prefs somewhere are corrupt, and removed the normal culprets, which did not solve the prob.
Try going back to your original user and trashing the PS prefs associated with that user (see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/370735?tstart=0 ). If that doesn't fix the problem, it sounds like a OS user issue. Otheriwse it was just a case of common corrupt prefs and you'll know how to handle that in the future..

Photoshop elements organizer crashed every time I try to open.
The first time when I tried to open photo shop elements photo organizer it shut right down. Tried 3x more times and the same thing. I thought maybe my initial install was corrupted. So I uninstalled and did a re-install. Tried to open again and encountered the same thing. I checked vis google and found out other people are having the same issue. I'm running win7 pro 64 bit. What is the solution to this problem?
I wish I knew the answer as I'm having similar problems but with the Photoshop part which will not open. I get the moving bar and then nothing but in my case the Organiser opens. I also run Win 7 64bit and have deleted and downloaded the software at least 5 times with no success. It looks like a very expensive mistake and I wish I had never seen the software.

Safari keeps crashing every time I try to open a link from a different application, i.e. Mail. The trouble report says that some problem occurs with libcooliris.dylib plug-in. Can any one help?
Thanks!Dear Linc,
Thank you for the advice, John Blanchard1 and Linc Davis
As suggested in your reference thread I removed "/Library/Printers/hp/PDEs/hpPostScriptPDE.plugin" and the problem has been resolved.
I am guessing the the plug-in for the hp printers got corrupted and effected every thing, or became unsuitable when I installed an Apple update. I would be most grateful if you can confirm how the problem was coursed so I can understand and learn from this experiance.

ITunes crashes every time I try to open it on my brand new 5s.
iTunes crashes every time I go to open it on my brand new 5s. What do I do?
Try this one :
Go through Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
Please note, while this will remove your saved hotspots, it won’t purge any of your data.
OR
This simple, one-step fix that involves going to the Settings app on your home screen and navigating through Safari > Block Cookies > and selecting “From third parties and advertisers” only. -
Numbers for iPad crashes every time I try to open the date and time keyboard.
I had numbers 1.6.2 installed on my iPad 2 with 5.1.1
I can use every feature without problems, but when I try to open the date time keyboard input method it crashes invariably. I tried to fiddle with language, keyboard, region settings and calendar as noted in other posts b to no avail.

my windows(8.1 64bit) partition is read only from the mac(yosemite) side of things. Anybody have a clue on how to fix this? Also, slightly frustrating as well, windows crashes every time I attempt to open a file from the mac partition.
All Office applications will also try to open a temporary work file in the same location as the source file. This implies the source file directory also needs to be writable for this temporary file. Since the default HFS+ driver provides only read-only access, such temporary files will fail to open, and will cause the application to fail.
As a test copy the file you want to edit, say an Excel spreadsheet from the OSX file system to the C: drive on the Windows side and try to open it. If you look in this directory, you should see two files, the source and a temporary file. You may have to force the temporary file to be opened on a read-write file system, by manipulating the folder for temporary files. -
Speed grade CS6 crashes every time I try to open it
I looked up my Speed Grade CS6 and it stated it worked with OS6.8 and OS7. Well, mine will not open, it crashes every time i try to open it. I have and older Mac Pro 1.1 and can back door it and different processor but am I wasting my time and money I don't have? Help!
Not on Mac myself, but I've seen several issues on new installs that can be a pain. First ... there's some permissions on the Mac that can with some of the OS releases get set wrong ... similar to the way on the PC side of things some folks have to set it to "run as Administrator account" or something like that. Sorry but I don't know the precise language or location of that setting.
Second, on installation some times there can be garbage created in pref settings that can cause this ... trying to remember ... it's I think holding shift-alt- while starting the program that gets it by the prefs & setup files, which sometimes fixes this.
Third, at times you just need to uninstall/reinstall. Best done using Adobe's CC Cleaner tool, as it deletes all the preference/setup files that typical OS uninstalls don't get. And are realistically the things you most want GONE to fix this.

Muse crashes every time I try to open a project.
I was working on a file this morning and saved it on my desktop
I then went to open it on my laptop and Muse crashes every time I try to open it.Thanks for the quick response.
Yes, on Google Drive.
I just your answer to a post involving this after I posted this one, about it corrupting the file while syncing.
I went back and downloaded a previous version of the file from Google Drive and all works fine now.
Thanks for the solution! -
I installed the latest itunes update, 11.4.0.18. Now itunes crashes every time I try to open it.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.
You could also try working through

I have an iPad 1 and after I got the latest update for keynote and Now it crashes every time I try to open it
Do you have iOS 5.1.1 on your original iPad? If not update the iOS.
You might also try quitting the app and then reset the pad.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Still no joy? Delete the Keynote app, reset the iPad and then reinstall Keynote. You will not have to pay for downloading it again. -

Crashes every time I attempt to open a software instrument GUI
I'm encountering a serious problem of crashing every time I attempt to open a software instrument GUI.
I'm working on a song with many software instruments (Ivoy, Stylus, Kontakt2, Kontakt 3, Toontrack Superior Drum 2.0, Trilogy, ecc.) and I can see on Activity Monitor that I am at the limit of Logic RAM addressing (Logic is at 2.57 GB and VM is at 3.90: I have 10 GB DIMMs).
Is perhaps my problem due to this RAM limit?
Note that the song flows smoothly if I play it and all is fine. But I can't open a soft Instr. GUI because Logic crashes.
If it so, I wonder why Logic has this RAM addressing limit. Is it due to the System architecture? Could it be surpassed in the future?Yes Logic have a limitation on Ram and Virual Memory. I really hope an update could be done about that, cause without this i could too do a complete mix without doing bouncing or exporting the soft instrument as a audio track to regain some DSP. To Avoid this kind of situation is to twaek your virtual instrument (ex. Superior 2.0 load jus by defaut 982 Mb in the ram and virtual memory addressing to Logic, you can lower that by removing samples of drum you don't use - i use superior 2.0 with 2 setup one drum set load at 360 Mb and another one at 580 Mb at 24bit - you can also reduce the bit rate)... But i agree totally with you this limitation is ridiculous now our days we have powerfull machines and plugin and software that require more RAM. Architecture that was develop at the time of the first Logic.
