Photoshop CS 5 - file cannot be displayed properly

Hi,
Does anyone come across such problem in Photoshop CS 5 ??
Files do not display properly on screen , all i see is grey background, but the navigator and layers shown the file is opened.
When clicking the bar where the file name display dock , the file appear but disappear when the click release
The file can be edit as usual but the problem is I can see it and i can not even see a newly opened paper or clipboard
DO ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM?

By "your display profile", c.pfaffenbichler means for you to look at the color profile that is associated with your monitor at the operating system level. The OS doesn't actually do the color management directly, but that's where one sets up the profile association that Photoshop and other color-management tools use.
As an experiment, try associating the system-supplied sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile (AKA "sRGB Color Space Profile.icm"), restart Photoshop, and see if the problem goes away.

We have compressed a PDF file using some third party library. The compressed file is displaying properly, when we're opening the file with ADOBE reader. The same file is displaying blank, when we're opening the file with Windows 8 reader.

Flowers.pdf is not displaying correctly and Tiger.pdf is displaying as blank in Windows reader. But both are displaying correctly in Adobe reader.
We have used LeadTools 14.5 library to compress the pdf files.

PDF files is not displayed properly in Adobe PDF version 11.0.06

have one pdf which can be viewed perfectly in Adobe version 9.
The same PDF is not properly opening clearly in Adobe 11.
My Adobe Pdf version is 11.0.06.
PDF file info. This PDF has been created by iText 2.1.7 api from java
File version of PDF file is 1.4
PDF file can be viewed well in Adobe version9 but not in Adobe 11.
Adobe 11 displays like this.
Any one aware wahts wrong.

PDF file doesn't display properly unless Firefox is maximized.

When I try to view a PDF file in Firefox, the page is too light to read unless the Firefox is maximized. Try http://www.sgsd.k12.wi.us/foodservice/Shawano%20Food%20Service%20Web%20Site/Documents/Menus/September/Lunch%201.pdf
click on the "Restore down" button and see if you can read it. It displays fine when maximized, so it's a nuisance rather than a big problem. Just curious if any one else noticed.

One problem I had with TextWrangle was I was doing a search and replace for <head><meta and it wasn't working. What I figured out was that there was other code on the line after <head><meta which was preventing the new code from working. I did a minor adjustment on each page in iWeb to force it to republish each page. That made the <head><meta line consistent on each page, then I selected the entire line and replaced it as per your instructions. It worked great. My experience was that iTweak did not process the code properly and was very slow, but this process was great.

Export to excel issue - date format cannot be displayed properly

Dear all,
When we do a export to excel, if it has date format, we always have problem on displaying it in excel. Some of the date if we change the data format, it will be changed to the correct way. Others will remain the old data format. Any idea?
I've checked the SAP note. It doesn't work. Thank you in advance.

SAP Note:
Click the Excel symbol in the task bar in Business One
Save the file as ".txt"
Open Excel and open the file as a ".txt" (Select in "Files of type" All Files (,))
In the Text Import Wizard Select "Delimited" and for "Start import at row" 1.
Click "Next"
In the Text Import Wizard - Step 2, select 'tab' in "Delimiters", for "Text qualifier:" choose ""
Click "Next"
In the Text Import Wizard - Step 3, highlight the Date column and in "Column data format" check the radio button Date in the drop down menu beside Date you can set the date format you require
Click "Finish"

Lately pdf files from the Web do not display properly; what is wrong and how can I fix it so I don't have to use IE?

I am a professor and frequently need to open pdfs of academic journal articles from electronic databases. Within the last two or three weeks, when I try to do this using Firefox, only the first page of the pdf displays and the rest are blank. In addition, a bar appears across the top with the message "This pdf file may not display properly." So I have had to switch to Internet Explorer to open the files and do my research. What is going on and how can I fix it so I can open pdf files from the Web in Firefox and have them display properly?

My question is simple - why would you put an application in production that has a lot of bugs? To replace a good and steady Adobe product? My customers will believe that I put a pathetic fallible form online. They are not sophisticated on computers so I just tell them to use IE. Ugh

maintaining several websites. However, when I try to use the newly
purchased Dreamweaver CS3 on HTML files previously created on DW8,
the files are not displayed properly (all elements are jumbled up
together in the "Design" view). But, when I do a "Preview in
Browser", the pages are just fine.
Has any other DW user had similar experiences and if so, any

DWCS3 is much less tolerant of code mistakes than was DW8,
and your symptoms
suggest that this may be the cause of your problems. Do the

Intermittent page cannot be displayed in webserver

how can we resolve the following sun one webserver errors (intermittent) :
1. page cannot be displayed
2. the graphics contained in the files cannot be displayed
3. font type and size
the errors above was not encountered if we access the application thru the application server.

The first two sound like network errors, not web server errors.
The third cannot possibly be a web server error; web servers do not control the font used by web browsers.

Macron & underdot entities coded in OEB file does not showup properly in epub file

"A" macron entity coded as "&#257" and "N" underdot entity coded as "n&#803" and "d" underdot entities coded as "&#803d&#803" are not showing up properly in the epub files but they display properly in the OEB file (HTML display). Please advise. Does epub provide support to these entities?

You have to create at your own, take any decimal list of entities and open its .epub file in ADE, you will see the question marks against entities, these are the entities which are not supported by .epub.

What are precautions to be take for uploading a huge file
I have an upload file operation in the web application. The web server is OC4J.

I have a similar time out problem, it ll be great if some one provide a solution.
The problem I'm facing is becasue of the time out setting in the proxy server which is 1.5 mins. The app server is sending Response properly but after some 2 mins or so because the processing is a bit complicated (3 API calls done intermittently for different validations).
I cant request for change in proxy server time out setting. So I have to handle this with in my application.
It will be greatful if anyone helps us out of this.

What happens when you try to use the clone stamp tool?
It should work with the images side by side.
You can setup photoshop cc to be like photoshop cs2 was on your other mac, by going to Photoshop>Preferences>Interface and unchecking
Open Documents as Tabs and Enable Floating Document Window Docking
And also going to Window and unchecking Application Frame

How do I get an imported an LDIF address book file to display properly?

x87, Win 7 64 bit pro. I backed up my address book by exporting an LDIF file to an external drive. My PC died and I bought a new one. I loaded Thunderbird 24.6.0 and imported the LDIF file. The addresses came in but they are not displayed in the address book properly. An address book folder named "TB Address Book 8-25-14" was created. When I select that folder the display to the right side of the window only shows a torso outline at the far left. The Name, Email, Chat Name, Organization, & work Phone fields are blank. If I select one of the entries and look at the properties, all of the data is there. If I move a contact to the Personal Address Book it still does not display correctly. However, there are two contact lists under the TB Address Boook 8-25-14 and if I select those sub-folders the data for each contact is displayed to the right. How do I get it to display properly so I can see what I'm doing? A friend of mine had a very similar problem importing into Thunderbird using Windows 8.

The problem fixed itself when I uninstalled ZumoDrive free cloud storage and also Growl the notifier application. Had to employ AppZapper to uninstall all related files.... but all worked a treat. All is back to normal.

Try a different pdf reader, like GoodReader.
Try switching your OS to Chinese (or English, if it is already in Chinese).
Verify that the pdf does display correctly on a full computer.
