Photoshop CS quit working, saying that recent changes to my computer (?! No) deactivated it. Attempts to re-activate by Internet don't work ("not available right now"??) and Adobe doesn't do phone re-activations now.
Any suggestions?
Is that the ancient Photoshop CS a.k.a. Photoshop 8.x ?

Updated to Oct 2014 version of photoshop CC. since that time cannot save ANY work. I can work on files but when I hit 'save as" every time it says "photoshop has quit working and needs to close." Need solution now.

I recently changed my apple id email from an old one to a new one and now I can't sign out of my old one on my iPhone 5 because it says I need a password. I cannot give that password because it is part of the old apple ID. How do I change IDs?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand it can be very frustrating when you cannot sign in, or sign out in this case, to your Apple ID. In this situation you may need to temporarily edit your Apple ID back to the original email address so that you can sign out. Once signed out, edit the Apple ID back to the new email address and sign in. Please use the attached article for further information.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.
If you're still asked for your previous Apple ID password, continue to the next step.

After Photoshop Elements quit working for the second time in three months, I uninstalled it and now cannot get it to reinstall from the disc. Nothing happens when I insert the disc. All I can do is look at the folders and files and see nothing that tells me how to start the installation. Clicking "open with Auto play" gives me irrelevant options, view photos, share, etc. I'm running Windows 8. This program has worked, although buggy, for the past year.

Lightroom 5 Help says that to change the size of filmstrip thumbnails: "Place pointer over top edge of filmstrip; when pointer changes to doublearrow, drag the filmstrip edge up or down." However I never get a double arrow. Instead I get a hand icon that allows me to drag the thumbnails to right or left. How can I change the filmstrip thumbnail size?
It works for me. Are you sure you are hovering in the right spot? It's the dividing line between the filmstrip and the Toolbar.

However, the real issue is why the program is not working. Did you install anything recently?
When you tried to re-install from the disk, did you shut off the antivirus program temporarily?
Have you tried a system restore to a point in time when the program was working properly? -
I am installing itunes to a laptop and have not sync device to this lap. It is saying that it must first restore device. The problem is I have over 2000 pictures and don't want to lose them. Now my phone is in restore mode and I don't know what to do. I don't want to proceed and loose these very important photos of family. What do I do to get it out of restore mode? My phone will not allow me to do anything to it at this point. I have the itunes downloaded on the laptop now. When I push the button for the phone it just shows Itunes and plug. I can't even call or open phone up.

Using a computer, other than the one you have regularily been Syncing and Backing up to, was the begining of your issue. -
After I tried to update my iPod 4 to iOS 5, my screen turned to the USB cord pointing to the iTunes symbol. When I try to restore it, it says that the 3014 error has occured. Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

My Jetpack 5510L says that its connected to 4G but its performing very slow, I removed the sim card and did a reset of the device. Any other suggestions?
I don't know who you would contact at Verizon to verify this, but I suspect you are in the same situation as me. My unlimited Jetpack is now being throttled to a basically useless speed of .10Mbps. Sometimes as low as .04Mbps. Turns out this is done purposely as they are evidently eliminating unlimited. They're doing this now even though accounts still display on the my device page as unlimited. They have given no warning, no explanation and started it in the middle of a billing cycle. At least for me. Be prepared to pay about double for 20GB with I think and $8 per gig overage cost. With the 5GB plan it appears they just throttle down to an unusable speed. Currently considering saying goodbye to Verizon myself. Even with some need to change plans and eliminate unlimited this isn't the way to treat customers during the change.

It keeps saying that I used a different computer to access my account. I haven't. How can I get it to stop this so I don't have to enter my card number every time?
It also says that "your account information has changed. Please review your account and email address and approve them for use in the itunes store." It happens EVERY time I buy a new song, a new album, anything. Even if I buy an album and five minutes later, without closing itunes, buy another one, I have to go through this whole process. It's REALLY annoying.

What version of iTunes do you have installed? If you are trying to update to iOS 6 you need iTunes 10.7 or later.
