Update Photoshop CS2 (Adobe Bridge, AdobeStockPhotos)

Ich habe das angebotene Update für Photoshop CS2 durchgeführt. Angeboten war wurde dieses für Adobe Bridge und AdobeStockPhotos. Am Ende des Updates wurde zum Neustart des Computers aufgefordert um den Akutalisierungsvorgang abzuschließen.
Gesagt, getan.
Nach Neustart, direkt wieder die Aufforderung einen Neustart durchzuführen. Dies jetzt nach jedem Start des PC's.
Wie komme ich über diese Hürde hinweg?

Hey Jim,
unter dem Menü Bearbeiten, findet sich bei mir nur der Punkt "Voreinstellungen".
Bei den Unterpunkten wie "Allgemeine", "Dateien verarbeiten", etc. kann ich leider keinen Punkt finden, bei dem ich Update-Optionen beeinflussen könnte - aber vielleicht habe ich auch nur Tomaten auf den Augen.
Könntest du mir genauer beschreiben, wo ich diesen Punkt eventuell finde.
Unter dem Menü "Hilfe" findet sich ein Punkt der "Updates ..." genannt wird. Aktiviere ich diesen, kommt auch nur wieder die Meldung, dass ein Neustart erforderliche sei, bevor der Aktualisierungsvorgang fortgesetzt werden kann. Dies habe ich ja, wie bereits beschrieben, mehrfach getan u. trotzdem erscheint diese Meldung immer wieder, auch nach einem Neustart.
Trotzdem vielen Dank, vielleicht siehst du noch eine andere Möglichkeit.

Photoshop CS2 Update

Hallo,
ich wollte mir das Update Photoshop CS2 vorbestellen. Leider bekommeich immer den Fehler "Für Produkt 23102177 ist das Anlegen von Vertriebsbelegen verboten". Kann mir jemand helfen? Ich hab schon bei Adobe angerufen und dort sagte man mir man könne es nicht vorbestellen es ginge nur die Suite CS2 zu bestellen. Also man kann es vorbestellen nur eben habe ich immer den Fehler.

Photoshop CS2 wird in den USA bereits seit letzter Woche (April) ausgeliefert.
In der CS2 Suite ist sicher mehr drin, aber sie kostet auch mehr !
Für mich als Besitzer von PS und GoLive kommt der Upgrade auf die CS2 Suite (muß dann Premium sein) wesentlich teuerer als die beiden Einzelupgrades (es gibt da ja keine Ermäßigung wenn man mehr als eines der in der Suite enthaltenen Produkte besitzt).
Da ich wie viele andere keine Verwendung für Illustrator und InDesign habe und die bridge auch bei PS CS2 enthalten ist, lohnt sich der mehrpreis eben nicht immer.

Photoshop CS2: Zwei Fragen

Ich habe seit gestern auf CS2 upgegradet. Es haben sich für mich zwei Fragen ergeben:
1) Ich wollte die aktuelle Camera Raw Version einstellen und bin, wie auf der Adobe HP beschrieben, vorgegangen. Entgegen der Beschreibung befand sich in meinem CS2 Installationsverzeichnis (und auch in KEINEM der Unterordner, wie bspw. "Adobe Photoshop CS2\Zusatzmodule\Dateiformat") eine Datei "Camera Raw.8bi". Ich habe die neue Version dennoch in das Verzeichnis "Adobe Photoshop CS2\Zusatzmodule\Dateiformat" kopiert. Um zu überprüfen, ob dennoch alles funktioniert hat, habe ich dann unter "Hilfe->Über Zusatzmodul->Camera Raw" nachschauen wollen. Hier habe ich jetzt zwei Einträge "Camera Raw". Woher weiss ich, welches CS2 jetzt verwendet?
2) Ich hatte zuvor neben Photoshop CS auch Photoshop Elements 3.0. Da gab es das angenehme Feature, dass sobald ich meine Canon 20D angesteckt habe, ein Importfenster erschien, dass sowohl JPG- als auch CR2-Dateien angezeigt hat und diese nach PS Elements importiert hat. Gibt es so eine Funktionalität in PS CS2 oder irgeneine andere Möglichkeit direkt auf die CR2-Dateien meiner Kamera zuzugreifen (der Import über WIA hat nicht funktioniert - CR2 wird nicht angezeigt)?

Ich habe die Suite am Mittwoch direkt von Adobe NL bekommen, bekam Dienstags 21.45 Uhr email ünber Absendung, Mittwoch 13.oo Uhr traf das Paket hier an. Leider hat die dritte CD Leseprobleme, weswegen eine Installation noch noch nicht möglich war. Hier gibts noch Abstimmungsprobleme mit dem Adobe Support :-). Konnte wegen der Teilinstallation nur Teileinblicke wie "Bridge" tätigen. Die Darstellungsgeschwindigkeit ist kein Vergleich zum alten lahmen Bildbrowser. Nicht alle PDF-Dateien werden als Voransicht dargestellt. Vielleicht weiss schon jemand woran es liegt und weiss Abhilfe? Ansonsten wäre dies mein nächster Treat ... :-)

Photoshop CS2 / Kontrastpinsel wo?

Ich besitze Photoshop CS2.
Was ich jedoch vermisse ist ein Kontrastpinsel.
Gibt es so etwas, und ich habe es noch nicht entdeckt?
Ich arbeite mit Graustufenbilder aus schwarz weiss negativ/positiv Material.
(Das bearbeiten von Farbkanälen ist also leider nicht möglich)
Ich liebe das arbeiten in Teilbereichen mit Nachbelichtungs- und Abwedlungspinsel, ähnlich wie damals im Labor. Gibt es so etwas nicht auch in Form eines Kontrastpinsels? (Kontrast auf-weg pinseln/dürfte doch möglich sein.) Auswahl-Werkzeug in Kombination mit Ebenen finde ich mühsam.

Natürlich gibts einen "Kontrastpinsel". Er nennt sich "Scharfzeichnerwerkzeug" und ist in der Werkzeugpalette das 7. Werkzeug von oben links (nach dem Ausklappmenü das 2. Werkzeug). Eignet sich besonders für das Schärfen von Kanten. Vorsichtig anwenden. Zerstört Information. Deshalb am besten mit einer Einstellungsebene arbeiten. da gehts nicht-destruktiv, bis man mit dem Resultat zufrieden ist.

Photoshop CS2 Installation Vollversion über Trail

Kann man die Vollversion von Photoshop CS2 über die 30-Tage Testversion installieren und somit alle getätigten Konfigurationseintellungen, bzw. -anpassungen übernehmen, oder ist es besser (oder notwendig?), die Testversion erst zu deinstallieren?

@ Hermann Blaesing: Höchstwahrscheinlich nicht, bei dem Preis kann es sich nur um Raubkopien handeln. Der Preis einer alten Version müsste normalerweise sein: Preis der Aktuellen Version minus Updatepreis und dann etwas drunter, damit der Händler das los wird.
Außerdem rate ich jeden ab in Russland Software zu kaufen, wie sind denn dann die Verbraucherrechte geschützt?

Ungültige Seriennummer bei Photoshop CS2 Tryout-Version?

Ich habe die 30-Tage-Testversion von Photoshop CS2 heruntergeladen. Beim Versuch, das Programm zu installieren, erhalte ich die Meldung "Ungültige Seriennummer... Dies ist keine gültige Seriennummer. Gehen Sie zurück und geben Sie Ihre Seriennummer erneut ein." Doch bei der Testversion hat man überhaupt nicht die Möglichkeit, eine Seriennummer einzugeben. Wenn man wie empfohlen zurückgeht, muss man den Lizenzvertrag erneut akzeptieren und erhält dann erneut die obige Meldung. Woran kann das liegen und wie kann ich die Meldung übergehen, so dass sich die Testversion installieren läßt? Ich erwäge ernsthaft, mir das Programm zu kaufen, habe aber Bedenken, dass mir mit der Vollversion das gleiche Problem blüht...

Das mit der ungültigen Seriennummer bei der Tryout-Version tritt offenbar schon mal auf, wenn eine Tryoutversion vorher schon einmal unter einem Nutzer installiert war. Erneutes Installieren geht meist unter Windows XP nach dem Einrichten eines neuen Benutzers. Ansonsten scheint es ein Bug zu sein, die "normalen" Testversionen funktionieren i.d.R.. Stammt diese Version eventuell aus einer "zweifelhaften" Quelle, dann wäre ich etwas vorsichtig damit.

Probleme mit Photoshop CS2 unter Mac OS X Mavericks

Kann mir jemand helfen? Ich habe einen neuen iMac mit OS X Mavericks und wollte über einen Download von Adobe eine Mac-taugliche Version von Photoshop CS2 und InDesign CS2 installieren. Da der Registrierungs-Server schon abgeschaltet ist, hat mir ein Adobe-Mitarbeiter im Chat (leider finde ich den Chatroom nicht mehr auf der Adobe-Seite) einen LInk gesandt, wo man die Software ohne Registrierungs-Server runterladen kann.
Beim Installieren ist dann allerdings folgende Fehlermeldung gekommen:
Sie können das Programm "Adobe Photoshop CS installieren" nicht öffnen, da PowerPC-Programme nicht mehr unterstützt werden.
Was kann ich da machen?

Gar nix kannste da machen. Steht ja auch eindeutig da - CS2 ist nur für PowerPC und die sind nun seit fast 10 Jahren altes Eisen wie eben auch die CS2. Da wirste schon mal Geld ausgeben müssen für was zeitgemäßes. Für'n neuen Mac hat's ja auch gereicht....

Error in starting Adobe Bridge in Photoshop CS2

I've just installed Photoshop CS2, however upon opening Adobe Bridge this error message appears " The application has failed to start because libagluc28.dll was not found. Reinstalling to application may fix the problem"
I have reinstalled and click repair but to no avail
I followed Adobe Support Knowledgebase solution and run CMD and this appears:
c:Documents and Settings/Jesus M Ferraris>
then i entered the command
cacls c:\windows\installer /T /E /C /G administrators:F
but an error message appears - 'cacls' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or bathc file
I also entered the next command
cacls "c:\documents and setting\all users" /Y /E /C /G administrators:F
still the same error as above appears, Please help, have I miss something or was my procedure correct...

Error: "Could not complete your request because of a program error" (photoshop CS2 9.0.2 on MAC OSX

Today I started my program (photoshop CS2 9.0.2) and opened a JPG file. When I went to print the file the program crashed and closed. When I restarted the program and went to open the file I got this error message, "Could not complete your request because of a program error".
I have tried several different file types/sizes and all result in the same error message since the program crashed. It will not open any file I try to open. As I indicated above I am using Photoshop CS2 9.0.2 it is on a MAC with OSX 10.4.11.
I called Adobe and the Rep directed me to Tech Note 331307 and told me to Re-create the Photoshop preferences files. Which I did and restarted the program, but when I tried to open a file (any file) I still get the same error message so it doesn't appear to be the preferences.
Does anyone have any info as to what the problem may be and how to correct it.

Thanks for the response. OK... This is the first day I have been able to get back to the problem.
My system I am running Photoshop on is a Power Mac G4, AGP Graphics ATY Rage 128Pro chip set 16MB VRAM LCD 1280x1024 32-bit color, 500MHz, 1.75GB of memory, 1 MB L2 Cache, 100 MHz Bus Speed. I had installed the latest security update and repaired the permissions the day the problem started.
Now to day I started the system and went in and created a Guest Account. I logged into the guest account and started Photoshop. Low and behold it worked just fine. So I logged out of guest and logged into my main user account And started Photoshop. Wouldn't you know it.... It works just fine. I can open any file I want with now problems.
I got to thinking after I had done all of this that I wished I had tried to open a file in Photoshop today prior to creating the guest account to see if it still had the problem in my main user account.
I did not change anything else on the system and all seems to work fine now. So at his point I am really not sure what the problem was.

Adobe Stock Photos Stuck in Trash and Photoshop CS2 won't run!

Okay, I apparently did something stupid. I'm not even sure how this happened, but I realized that Adobe Stock Photos folder was sitting on my desktop (I'm using OS X 10.5.6). I don't know when this happened and I didn't think I needed it so I dragged it to the trash. NOW I cannot run any of my Adobe software (includes Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2 and GoLive CS2).
I can see the folder sitting in my trash, but it won't let me drag it back out. So, just as a test, I tried dragging out the one other file (.jpg) and I can't get that one either. I know this isn't a Mac forum, but I'm desparate and cannot find anything to help me.
Probably I am going to have to reinstall everything and (of course) I can't find my CDs!!! Please don't get angry if I'm asking the wrong question. I've done an internet search and I cannot find any solutions.

Adobe stock photos does not even exist anymore.
Have you tried deleting your trash? I have no Adobe stock Photos on my computer and everything works. try restarting the computer.

Adobe Photoshop CS2 shuts itself down after printing..

Not sure whether I'm in the right place to post this..
In my workplace, we just bought some new iMacs for design class. They are a 2GHz with Intel Core Duo, and has 1GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM, and running Mac OSX 10.4.8.
The Photoshop CS2 is version 9.0
I've config-ed the five new iMacs so they can print to a printer, using IP printing. Problem is, most of the time after the students sends the document they want to print to the printer, Photoshop CS2 just shuts itself down. Then the dialog box saying 'the software just unexpectedly quit' appears.
It is confusing me, because our older iMacs (that's not an Intel-based) doesn't have this problem, at all.
is it something to do with CS2 compatibility with Intel-based Macs? or something else.. what needs to be done to stop this annoying problem?

Just purchased new Nikon D200. RAW Images will not open in Photoshop CS2. Receive Adobe Photoshop CS2 error message "Could not complete your request because of a program error." Images taken with this camera will open in Nikon Capture 4.4 and then can be transferred to CS2 But attempting to open RAW images directly with CS2 is futile.
Images taken with Nikon D2h and Nikon D100 flow perfectly through CS2
Only images taken with Nikon D200 will not open in CS2.
Is this Nikon problem or an Adobe problem?

upon importing i had the option of selection importinf from a "PICT Resource..."
this was the only option that allowed me to select my JPG images (digital caerma images, btw)
when i select and clikc OK, a message that comes up that says "There are no PICT resources in this file"
moreover, when i convert the JPG images to PICT images (via preview) i get the same message
strange, since i've been able to copy and past my JPG files all along until now...

Adobe Photoshop CS2 has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Just starting to get this error on open in CS2 after a few months of smooth sailing on a new system (below). CS2 now cannot open. It started occasionally and increased. Tried reinstalling. Tried deleting the PS config files and same error. Any suggestions?

Just ran memtest and received no errors. This more or less clears the hardware. I have no idea how to proceed. Does adobe offer any direct support for this sort of problem?
