Photoshop cs2 is free now, can it be used for commercial use? In Russia exactly.
Some of our workers don`t need CS6.

There is no free version of CS2. There is only a special version of CS2 available for people who purchased it and need to reinstall it.

Within this program, we were able to upload a background "file" with themes - i.e., spring flowers, fall leaves, etc. We would scan in pictures given to us by the deceased's family and "place" these on top of the background slide. We then used a software program, Nero, to create a slide show with music to play during the viewing. I've spent some time looking over the products and do not see one that will allow us to continue this very simple practice. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak to someone about this. Newer versions of Photoshop have new feature that CS2 does not have. However CC 2014 like CS2 does not have a slide show with sound feature. I have a Windows 7 Pro system. Have CS2, CS6, CC and CC 2014 installed. You need and Updated CS2 Installer to install CS2 on windows. CS2 is a 32 bit Photoshop there is no CS2 version that will run on new Mac computers their 64 Bit OS offered no 32bit options.
A $10 a month subscription will keep up to date with the latest Photoshop. Your other option is to buy CS6 for $700. CS6 is no longer supported it just marketed as is.

I've digged whole internet to find official answers, but I couldnt find it. So I want to ask it here, before bad things happened.
I downloaded CS2 from this website and recieved official keys for installation.
So the question is: can I use this CS2 for commercial purposes now? Will I have any problems with the law in case of law audit?

Unless you purchased CS2 you have no legal right to download and use CS2.
Those downloads and serial numbers are supplied for those with legitimate
licenses because of the shutdown of the activation servers.

I guess you have posted on the wrong forum. This forum is for Photoshop Elements and your query seems to be more related to Ps Lightroom.
Anyways, not sure about the legal implications, but technically Adobe allows the users to use the product with same serial number on two machines so as far as you have a valid and legitimate serial number registered in your name, YOU can use the product on two machines.
I am although slightly confused when you say "1 employee..." and "not be for commercial use..".

I am installing photodeluxe home edition 4.0 on my work laptop, however, I am not sure whether it can be used free for commercial use. Since its a discontinued software and been told that its sort a freeware so just want to confirm whether to be installed on work laptop?

That because the activation servers were retired. Now for the good news:
Adobe has provided a non-activation version of Photoshop CS2 free of charge for their CS2 license holders.
Download the Mac version of Photoshop (not the suite) and copy down the serial number next to it. Do not use your original serial number or cs2 disc.
Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products
Uh... one more thing CS2 is PPC only. OSX 10.6.8 has Rosetta to run legacy PPC products. 10.7 and above will not.

Default Adobe Brushes Ok for commercial use?

Hi, I tried to find the correct category to post this question, but I had trouble finding the correct forum, since I'm refering to general Adobe brushes in Photoshop, illustrator etc.
As my topic says: are those brushes which came with the applications ok for commercial use? eg. the default grass brushes...
They should be right? I just want to make sure first. Thank you.
EDIT: I meant the default shaped brushed like the grass one, or stars etc. Not referring to the basic round brushes etc.

It depends on what you mean by “commercial use." If you plan to create an illustration or piece of art which uses the grass brush to create a grass pattern/texture as part of the image, the answer would be "yes." If you would like to repackage or distribute a brush as part of another product or application, the answer would be "no."

HP Laserjet1012 only prints Not For Commercial Use

Have HP Laserjet 1012 installed on Dell Latitute E6410 running Windows 7. Found a You Tube video for setup. Using port DOT4_001, and HP Laserjet0355 PCL5(Microsoft) driver.
Problem: whentyou print test page, the printout has a black background and Not For Commercial Use printed on a diagonal in white.
If you open a document to print, it spools to this printer but the message is this Not for Cummercial Use.
Any ideas???

Perhaps the application you are using (Word?) is generating the watermark; or perhaps a watermark setting in the printer driver settings?

All this would seem to cover you for the use you propose (this is not a legal opinion). GarageBand is presumably similar.
