Photoshop CS2 on more than one computer?

Hi all, I am wondering if I can install Photoshop CS2 on my new laptop with has 320 GB hard drive, in addition to having it on my desktop?  I currently have it installed on my desktop with only 120 GB hard drive.  I also just bought a Western Digital 500 GB external hard drive which I have attached to my desktop via firewire to try and move some of my photos to it so as to free up some space on my desktop (it is almost full).  What is the best configuration for that system?  Do I assign the paging file to the external hard drive as well as the current setting (at startup).  I am afraid to delete from my main desktop, but am going to have to soon as it is almost full.  Sorry so many questions in one thread.  Thanks for any ideas.

Regarding the configuration, first get all your image files on to the external drive. (I would back them up to DVD as well while you're at it.)
If you are not going to be dealing with large files  (>30MB) regularly, you could leave your paging file and primary scrach on the system drive with the external as a secondary scratch.
If that seems to inhibit performance, try making the Firewire drive primary scratch. There are so many flavours of Firewire connection it's difficult to be dogmatic.
I would leave the paging file on the system disk.
Others may disagree!

  • Can I install photoshop cs5 on more than one computer, if "owned" by a different user?

I want to install my recently purchased photoshop cs5 on my macbook, as well as my imac. The only thing I worry about is that the macbook is in my name and the imac is technically in my dad's name, even though he only uses it to surf the web. The only reason he even bought the imac as opposed to anything else is so that I'd have a great place to edit photos. I really need it to be on both, will this work? Anyone have experience with this?

This is what I was able to dig out
May I use the software on more than one computer at a time?
The activation process supports installation on two machines. The Adobe product license agreement allows the primary user to install the product on a primary computer and also on a home or laptop computer for his or her use, provided that the two copies are not used simultaneously. While the activation process supports installing and activating Adobe software on two machines, the usage of the product on the second computer is restricted to the user who licensed the software. Allowing others to use a second copy of the software violates the product license agreement.

  • Photoshop on more than one computer with my one subscription price?

I have a monthly subscription for Photoshop CS6.  Am I able to download and use Photoshop on more than one computer with my one subscription price?

Also, I have no registered products.  I thought my CS6 would have shown up s a registered product.  Is this why I cannot find a serial number?  I apologize for dragging this on but I simply can't figure this one out.
Also, I read that adobe is no longer updating CS6.  And on the Creative Cloud app it doesn't even give the option to download CS6 as a trial.  It only offers CC to trial.  Should I be doing that?
    Thank you again.

  • Using photoshop on more than one computer

I purchased Photoshop CS6 for my home Mac several months ago. I am about to buy my daughter a Mac. Will I be able to install photoshop on her computer, too? Can I use it on more than one computer in the same household?

You can "install" it on two computers, but the End User License Agreement stipulates that you cannot run it on both at the same time.

Can you load photoshop elements, disc version, on more than one computer?

It‘s been part of recent versions, perhaps from PSE8 onward; I‘m not exactly sure. The software activates automatically upon installation. If you ever change computers and already have two activations simply open the Editor on the old machine and on the top menu click help à deactivate

  • Can I load my Itune on more than one computer?

Can I have ITunes installed on more than one computer, and sync with I-Phone and IPAD2?  How do I keep the files the same on both computers?

you can authorize up to five computers you control for your iTunes store account.
you can use home sharing to keep the libraries on them in sync.
by design, iPhone and iPad can sync with only one library at a time.
however, you could consider Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad, and iPod.

  • Can't use the iPod on more than one computer!!!!!!!

Ok, This has got me so frustrated! We got an iPod and installed iTunes. We thought we had it figured out - we purchased music from iTunes, played it on the iPod and everything was great. Then plugged the iPod into my other computer to listen to our music and it won't freakin' play! says the computer is "Not Authorized" and suggests that by 'authorizing' the 2nd computer, it will overwrite the songs that are already on the iPod. This is NOT desirable. We've downloaded and installed iTunes onto the 2nd computer and used the same login account that we used on the first computer.
What gives!?!?! I thought this was supposed to be easy, but it's not! I was hoping for a quick and simple "plug it in and start listening to music." This is definately not quick and simple. Albeit, I'm new to this iPod craze, but this shouldn't be so difficult. I've poked around on the website and cannot seem to find an answer to this.
    HELP!!!!
    Thanks
oh btw, Is anyone else getting annoyed by Apple's rediculous attempt at monopolizing this market by forcing us to use thier own proprietary software?!?!

First of all, any computer that plays purchased content must be authorized. This can be accomplished by opening iTunes, then store>authorize computer. If you wish to use your iPod on more than one computer & not have your iPod content erased, you will have to have your iPod preferences set on "manually manage". See the following link.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61675
Also, it's not only Apple that uses proprietary software. How about Zune players, & several others?

    Hi, China6450.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would recommend setting up Manually manage music.  This will only allow music to be synced from the computer to the iPod nano.  Here are some helpful articles that will walk you through the process.

I have Lightroom 5 CD that I've used for 2 years in my Toshiba laptop. I have a new Mac Book Pro and was wondering if I purchase an external CD for it, can I use my software on my new computer. I wasn't sure if it can be used on more than one computer...It doesn't say on the software box.
    Thank you so much!

There are normally three options: License, buy or try. See image below.
Did you double click on the package in downloads to start the installation?

I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
    Or get/setup IMAP accounts.
