Photoshop CS3 disc wont read on any device - need to re-install Help!!

Don't laugh, but I bought photoshop CS3 in 2007 it worked fine for what I need. I do not have the cash to upgrade right now. My hardrive crashed and was replaced and trying to re - install but the origional disc from Adobe will not read. I have installed everything else and dreamweaver and fireworks worked fine. When i put the disc in its like there is nothing there. I can not download from adobe as they do not have CS3 available. Any ideas??? Pretty Desperate!!

If restarting Mac or reinstalling OS X does not correct this symptom, you likely have a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service.

I need to reinstall Photoshop CS3 but I do not have my disc. I do have a serial number for the program. Where can I get a replacement disc or a link to a replacement download?

Photoshop CS3 Extended wont boot in Tiger

Hi, I am helping my friend to sort out some problem. Would appreciate all your expertise.
At present, my friend uses a iMac and is ready to install a Mac OS X Photoshop CS3 Extended Academic Edition.
However, as I load the DVD into the iMac, it just spins but does not load.
Thereafter, it spits out the DVD.
WOuld like to know if anyone encounter this?

Make sure the disc is clean and free of dust and finger prints.

Photoshop CS3 crashing on Save for Web & Devices

I'm having a problem with Photoshop CS3 crashing every time I use the "Save for Web & Devices" option. It allows me to open the dialog box and configure my file, but as soon as I click Save, it crashes. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you resolve it?

Wont Read hardly any CD's

Okay, since the last trouble i had with this, was the softare update wouldnt work, i got that fixed...soo this is the problem now...
I recently burnt a back up cd, well four, so i could do some "spring cleaning" or whatever after xmas....after i finished doing the back up cds, on these regular Imation CD-R | 1x-52 compact disc recordable 700mb, 80min cds.
I could burn songs, files, ect on them perfectly, and i ran a test on it and it read it fine. I shut down the computer for the night, and when i restarted it the next day, it wont even read the disc, it ejects it like its scratched? It also wont read the screen saver disc, i tried to test it on some cds i previously used on here, or some of the mac installation discs.?? It will read DVD's and i havent tried a regular song DVD....
***? is the optical eye damaged somehow? or maybe just need cleaning? I dont have a cleaning kit for it, so i dont know what to do... or where to get one? or even if thats the answer to it....

CS3 Bridge is not function; do I need to re-install?

I will admit to being woefully remiss in installing my wonderful CS3 software. Just did so a few days ago. Adobe Bridge was working fine, but today I can't access it at all for some reason. Do I need to de-install and re-install everything (I've got Design Premium), or if I put in the application DVD, can I just re-install Adobe Bridge.
I am not a computer techy.

No, do not uninstall/reinstall. What you need to do is reset preferences. Hold down the Crtl key and start Bridge. You will get a reset window, choose all 3 options. That should get you back to normal.

This is super frustrating. I was going to try to delete the extentions.plist and I cannot find that. I reset Safari. I tried just sropping files into the extentions folder, that doesn't work. Can someone please help?

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. How to install Photoshop CS3 disc on a Retina MacBook Pro?

Just bought a new Retina Macbook pro and trying to install CS3... the program from my old Macbook would not work when moved to the new one. I have the original disc but this will not work on new Macbooks without a drive.
Anyone any ideas?

Feel free to contact support, but they'll only give you the finger, metaphorically. There is no support for old versions beyond sorting out your activation. And you get what was to be expected. All Adobe apps must be properly installed. Copying the installer files to a USB stick will work just fine. If for soem reason that's not possible, download using this method:

You'll still run into trouble, though. CS3 was never tested on contemporary versions of OSX nor will it deal properly with Retina displays. As a minor, you will have to enable the half-res option in your display prefs during install and possibly usage of the program...

Photoshop elements 10 should be able to open those files if you update to camera raw 6.7

Wont boot to any device

Hi there,
I purchased the above mentioned system board to build a system.
Everything is built and ready to go.
As I try to boot from anything the system hangs. All it does is detects the hard drive, the cd rom and the cd rw on the boot screen where it counts the memory and prompts me with the options to enter setup, boot menu and network boot. This is followed by a single beep from the system, and hangs.
I can enter SETUP no problem, it is after that when it fails.
I have changed the memory, but the same error still occurs.
Please help as soon as possible.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
