Photoshop CS3 installer

Hello,
I bought Photoshop CS3 a few months ago, but I lost the installer disc. I still have product key. I only need a link for Photoshop CS3 installer 30day trial, and then I can activate it. Could someone give me link to the Photoshop CS3 installer? (Not the extended version)
thanks

Obviously not from Adobe. It hasn't been available from Adobe since 2008.
If you registered it with Adobe, the serial and download link should be available by logging in to your Adobe account.
Try http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html
If successful, KEEP A COPY locally for future use. No guarantee that these links will hang around forever.
Photoshop Std and Extended is the same file. Standard version or Extended will be unlocked when you enter your serial number.
The installer will recognize your serial as a Standard version and that's what'll be installed on your machine.

  • Photoshop CS3 installs but won't run on new OS install

    Hello,
I've been searching through the forums and have seen some users with a similar problem, but haven't found any info that's relevant to my situation.
I have done a fresh install of Windows XP Pro SP2 and decided to install a brand-new copy of CS3 at the same time.
This computer is totally fresh - there are no printers, no TWAIN drivers, no funny fonts or games installed. The only software on this machine is Windows and whatever updates Windows Update has pushed out.
The Photoshop installer runs fine - no crashes or error messages. However, when I try to start up Photoshop, I just get the outer frame of the app window and (usually) the File / Edit / Image / Layer... menu bar. There is no splash screen, and no palettes appear. If I click anywhere in the app window, the menu bar disappears and the title bar says "Not responding".
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling from both the DVD and the web download. I've tried selecting the "repair" option on the install screen. I've tried downloading and installing the 10.0.1 update.
I tried installing Lightroom and Reader to see if those work (they do).
I tried installing the latest video driver for my gfx card.
None of these change the behaviour I've been seeing at all. I opened a support case with Adobe about 4 days ago but haven't gotten a response yet.
Any thoughts? I was able to run PS CS1 on this computer just fine before I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled everything, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
    Thanks,
    Thomas Park

    Hi Guys,
Ive got the same problems as you, Win XP SP2 on RAID 1 hard disk set on an AMD raid controller, but I have no driver to roll-back to.
Ive installed Photoshop CS3 and also Acrobat Standard 8 (which used to run fine on an old system), but all i get now is the blank window with the menu and title bar and thats all.
Can some one help?  (will this licensing patch resolve the issue - and where can i get it from?)
    Thanks

  • Cannot install Photoshop CS3 - Installer just dissappeared

I have an issue installing Photoshop CS3 as follow:
I have removed all Photoshop CS3 Beta manually (Use control panel, deleted files and registries) as instructed in this web and get rid of all thing involved Adobe out of my computer.
When I clicked Setup.exe, a setup windows with progressive bar (See in http://www.thetaforce.com/image/cs3installer.jpg ) appeared shortly and then disappear!
Then nothing is happenned further. No error message. It just disappeared. I wait for an hour but nothing happened.
I tried to run Windows in clean mode (msconfig -> disable unneccessary services) and also disable Antivirus and Firewall etc. But this problem persists.
I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium (32Bit) and have Intel Centrino Duo 2.0GHz with 1.5GB of Ram (DDR2) and 100GB HDD. Graphic shared Intel 945GM Express Chipset.

I finally got CS3 to install last night, I decided to vanilla install XP sp2 from scratch using a ghost copy.
I then ran the installer from the same physical disk but diffrent partition and I got 2 errors, CS3 and shared components failed to install. I was just about to throw the towel in, having cleanned my pc back to nothing but base XP sp2 install and then I thought why not put the whole 460mb package on the root or C:.
I ran the installer and uncompressed the file, which created the installer and executed. The options screen popup (at last!!) and I chose the default install location and few minutes later, CS3 was installed and running.
I then spent the next couple of hours updating XP with 80+ security patches, IE7 and all my other applications.
This may seem a bit drastic, but I can only conclude that this problem had nothing to do with CS3beta but rather a conflict with one or some XP security updates / patches.
Also, there must be something inherently wrong with the CS3 installer scripts, perhaps absolute rather dynamic file addressing as it just would not work if I put the installer on a different drive.
I've burnt nigh on 20 hours on this upgrade and finally have it running.
Focusing on the positives, my pc is running a lot quicker and has less bloatware than before, however getting a PC to be stable takes a lot of time and effort, which I now have to contend with. In fact, IE 7 is already crashing more than it did previsouly!
Looking on the bright side, I finally have access to my CS3beta PSDs with LR working in harmony.
I do hope others can solve the problem in a less drastic manner. For me, I felt it better to work from a know XP build to isolate the many variables.

  • Photoshop cs3 installation freezes

I have purchase photoshop cs3 and dreamweaver. Dreamweaver installed with no problems but when I tried to install photoshop everything looks good until the installation gets to 8.46% it freezes during shared components. Tried cleaning up components and re installing, many times, same result.

If you bought the download from Adobe directly you can go to the My Adobe link on their site.

  • How to deactivate unwanted Photoshop CS3 installations?

I posted the following question a couple of months ago:
"I still own a copy of Adobe CS3 Design Premium, but it is not currently installed on any computers as far as I know. Nevertheless, after installing Photoshop CS3 on my old G4 powerbook, I could not activate the program. Adobe thinks that there are two existing installations (the maximum allowed); but, in reality, there are none. Does Adobe have some way of remotely deactivating these supposed installations so that I can use my software? If so, who would I contact? If not, what else can I do?"
Someone suggested that I try the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool. This did not help. Someone else said that there would be a phone number on the "cannot activate" screen. There is no phone number.
Can someone please tell me who to call about this? Adobe telephone tech support won't talk to me unless I give them money, which I should not have to do.
    Suggestions appreciated.
Here is the screen I get when I try to activate Photoshop CS3:

Call Adobe Technical Support and indicate that there is an activation issue. There is no charge to deal with this type of issue, even for much older versions. The right to activate the software is for totally open-ended, unless you already used the version of this software to upgrade to a newer version. If the initial agent gives you problems, insist on speaking with a supervisor.

  • Photoshop CS3 installation media - where?

    Hi,
I have recently experienced a hark disk failure, which contained Photoshop CS3, and now it would appear my original installation media is corrupted (haven't used it since the initial install).
Is there anywhere on the Adobe website where I can download it, or even order another CD? I have tried but can't seem to find anything relating to this. I have also looked online at various retailers, but I'm worried about receiving a pirated version of the software.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  • Photoshop CS3 Installation Problems

A customer has purchased Photoshop CS3 & is having problems installing on Vista Business
If I logon to the Users PC as Administrator & install it there, what steps will I need to take to access it from the Users account
    Thanks

Well, who told you it was for a Mac? If you bought it at a retail store, you should be able to take it back there and exchange it for a Mac copy. If you bought it used, you should demand a refund from whoever you bought it from.
Of course, that is all assuming it's actually a Windows copy, and there's not something else going on... What does it say on the CD? My Photoshop Elements CD is very clearly labeled "Macintosh."

  • Photoshop CS3 Installation alongside Photoshop 7

I have been using Photoshop 7 sucessfully for years but I have downloaded a trial version of Photoshop CS3...
I would like to install the CS3 on the same computer as the Photoshop 7. Will this be an issue or am I expected to uninstall the Photoshop 7 first?
I cannot find anywhere basic instructions to install CS3.

I had ver. 6, 7 and CS2 on my computer along with Elements 3 at the same
time. At no time did any of them give any indication that they noticed
(outside of when upgrading) that the other was there. Ive seen some were

  • Adobe Photoshop CS3 Will Not Install PLEASE HELP TRIED EVERYTHING

I downloaded from Adobe the Photoshop CS3 Extended Trial directly from Adobe. (BTW I am on Vista 32)
The first time I tried installing, ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE.exe successfully unpacked, I successfully transitioned to the Adobe Photoshop CS3 installation, and it appeared to install. After 30 minutes or so, the installer finished and simply said that shared components had installed but the Photoshop CS3 Component install failed.
I always got in the log Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC,version="8.0.50727.163",type="win32",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18 e3b",processorArchitecture="x86"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information
This, I know, is everyones typical problem.
I turned off firewall and antivirus.
I uninstalled ALL Adobe and Macromedia programs, including Flash and Acrobat.
I used Windows Install Cleanup Utility to remove them.
I downloaded the CS3 Clear from Adobe and cleared at levels 1, 2, and 3.
I created the Administrator account on my computer and tried everything on the Administrator account.
I tried installing Photoshop CS3 with compatibility mode for XP SP2.
    I tried:
    1. Open an Administrator command prompt by right clicking on Start -> All
Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt and selecting "Run as
Administrator" and clicking "Allow" for the elevation prompt
    2. In the command prompt, type the command below
    fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
    3. Reboot the machine
    I tried:
Get command prompt up. It has to be run with admin rights so save yourself some time and run it this way.........Start/programs/accessories/.....right click command prompt and click run as administrator.
Then paste these commands in 1 after the other
    regsvr32 vbscript.dll (THEN PRESS ENTER)
    and
    regsvr32 jscript.dll (AGAIN PRESS ENTER)
I even tried installing in Safe Mode but the CS3 setup would not initialize.
I do not know what else to do. I have CS2 which I will use, but I was really hoping to move to CS3 which is supposed to be better and faster. Does anyone know anything else to do? I am not a computer noob but I am not about to reinstall Vista. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

I was in the same predicament and after spend many hours over several days trying a multitude of things I finally found an easy fix (below):
    ========================================
Assuming you have Internet Explorer 7 go to:
    Tools/Internet option/Advanced
Click the Reset dialog box. This will bring IE7 back to its default settings. You should reboot your computer. After logging back into Windows load IE and let it take you though its initial setup. When you are done close IE and install Photoshop.. This worked for me,,, hopefully it will work for you!

When installing Adobe Photoshop CS3 on Windows Vista I get this error "Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance. Internal Error 2739" I have used the cleanup script included in Adobe Photoshop CS3 installer, and have removed all traces of Adobe apps including the beta versions and Acrobat 8 pro, and I still get the same error, how can I install this application? is there any way or do I have to reformat and reinstall windows?

    Hello everyone,
I was having the same issue:
"Setup Error. Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance. Quit."
If you receive this error also, press Quit and follow these steps:
    1. Start
    2. Control Panel
    3. Administrative tools (in classical view)
    4. Event Viewer
    5. Application
You will see something like this:
Double-Click for error (emphasized by red color). I have an error like this:
"Error 1327.Invalid Drive: E:\" if you have the same or e.g. Drive F:\ ir whatever letter, you should solve this problem extremely easy - just insert USB-flash into computer (it will launch as E\ or whatever disk) and than run installation again. It will work than.
Setup doesnt start if disk is offline.
