Photoshop cs4 bridge, getting not enough storage message.

I have a computer that the motherboard died a couple of weeks ago. The motherboard and processor have been replaced as well as upgrading the ram from 4 gb to 12. We were able to use the old hard drive with no problems, maybe, just booted it up yesterday and am still working things out. Photoshop cs4 was installed on the computer and it seems to be working fine, except that I'm getting "not enough storage" messages when I try to do things I was able to do before the colapse. One thing I've noticed is that in the 32 bit version of Photoshop preferences it shows around 3 gb of ram available while the 64 bit version shows the full 12gb. Is this typical? and if not why would it be showing up this way?  I'm not sure that has anything to do with the problems with bridge it is a stand alone program now. Anyway, does anyone have any idea what could be the problem with this? Would uninstalling and re-installing the programs help?
Windows 7 Home Premium  64 bit system
12 GB RAM
I'm not sure what else would be needed about the computer, let me know if there is anything else.
Thanks for any help,
Linda

Is the "not enough storage" error message showing up in Bridge or Photoshop? I ask that because it seems to be a Bridge error message and the Bridge forum could better handle that.
If Photoshop is giving you this message, check your Preferences > Performance and see that the ram allocated is not more than 65-70% of total and look at your scratch disk allocation in that section as well.
I would also consider resetting Photoshop's preferences. Sometimes that clears up problems, and of course be sure you install the latest CS4 updates.
I'm assuming you have to use 32 bit Photoshop CS4 (example32 bit third party plugins).  If not use 64 bit CS4 and see if that works.
I'd heed the upgrade advice as well. After December, CS4 to CS6 upgrade price will increase from $200 to $700.

You paid for iCloud storage. It has no bearing on the capacity of the drive inside your iPad.

  • Trying to download from itunes, getting not enough storage message... already purchased the additional 15gb of extra icloud storage... why is the phone still not working?

I have been getting this error message for a while... it seems to be the only thing that helps is deleting all my photos and all my music and the bigger space sucking apps.... however what good is the phone if i have to delete everything i use in order to download something new.... What am i doing wrong? I dont want to keep deleteing all my music or pics just so i can buy one or two songs from itunes...

If your iPhone is full, then you have to delete things to add new ones. Additional space on iCloud does not have anything to do with how much is being stored on your iPhone. The iPhone has a limited capacity, as with any storage device, and so can only hold so much.
You can see in iTunes how much space is on your iPhone and what amount of space what you wish to put on it will require. If what you wish to put on the iPhone is more than the iPhone can handle, then you will just need to cut back on what you wish to keep on it. Or sell your current iPhone and buy one with more capacity.
    Regards.

  • Why do I keep getting a not enough storage message when trying to install GarageBand on my iPhone 4

I have been trying to re-install GarageBand on my iPhone 4. I have tried downloading from iTunes app store and installing by sync from my MacBook. Neither will work. I keep getting the same "not enough storage" message.

You may need as much as 2Gb free, at least on a temporary basis while installing the app.

A reset may help: Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart.

while charging ipad, not enough storage message appeared. Now ipad is locked and is unresponsive. How can I unlock ipad?

Not enough storage space. Do you backup to icloud? When you plug your ipad into charge it backs up to icloud. Your out of icloud storage. Could be the reason.
Locked....hmm... Did you try a reboot? Hold the home and power button(same time) till the screen goes black and apple logo appears. Ignore red sliders.

  • TS4009 not enough storage message will not go away

I am getting the message " Not enough storage. This ipad cannot be backed up because there is not enough icloud storage available. You can manage your storage in settings." But when I try to touch either the settings button or close button, nothing happens. It is like it is locked up. Have turned it off and back on and get the same issue.

  • Not Enough Storage message blocks iPad

I upgraded to IOS 6 and since then have not been able to use my iPad. I'm now getting a message that reads, "Not Enough Storage" followed by "This iPad cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available. You can manage your storage in Settings." My options then are to close or go to settings, but neither botton responds to touch. What can I do? my iPad is currently blocked. I do not really use iCloud and although I have an account, there isn't much there. This is so frustrating. Help please!

    Try a reset:
    1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds
    2. Until you see the Apple logo (very important)

  • "Not enough storage" message

I'm confused. I'm getting message with not enough storage but then it says I have 4.3 GB available of 5.

These "4,000 photos" in your camera roll? If so, import them to your computer, then delete them from your camera roll. Camera roll photos are included in the iPhone backup. If you want photos on your phone, sync them to your phone, don't keep them in your camera roll.

  • How do I clear a "Not Enough Storage" message on my iphone 4s

I have a message that will not clear it says" Not Enough Storage" " This Iphone cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available.  You can manage your storage in Setting."  There is a Close button and Settings button but neight of these do anything.  The phone seems locked up.
When I go to the cloud there is only contact saved and not that may.
Any ideas how to clear the phone without doing a Restore.  I dont want to lose all my Apps.

I saw a tip to hold down the button on the front and the top power button simultaneously and that powered off the phone and cleared the message.
