I've look already under File>Automate
Thanks

It's in Bridge now. You can supposedly also download the optional plug-in. See http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Photoshop/11.0/WS4E0B683E-B96D-419d-A781-97F28656C527.html for more info.

  • Photoshop Elements 8 - Web Photo Gallery?

I have Photoshop Elements 8 trial edition and Photoshop Elements 2.0.  I would like to create a Web Photo Gallery with Photoshop Elements 8 trial edition just like I have been doing with Photoshop Elements 2.0.  I cannot find how to create a Web Photo Gallery in Photoshop Elements 8.  Has Adobe removed the Web Photo Gallery function from Photoshop Elements 8?
I want to create a photo gallery to share photos on my own website and allow viewers to download the pictures.  The new online sharing function in Photoshop Elements 8 only creates a slide show without downloading capability.

    Bob,
Thanks for answering.  I need to create a Web Photo Gallery so I can upload thumbnails and full-size pictures to my website and have viewers be able to download the full-sized pictures.  The Flash version does not permit downloading and requires that you use one of the provided templates.  It appears that Photoshop Elements 8 is a downgrade from Photoshop Elements 2.0 in this respect.  Is there any way to accomplish what I want to do with Photoshop Elements 8.0?
By the way, I really like your video tutorial on the Adobe website.

  • Web Photo Gallery Missing from Photoshop CS4

Has anyone else found this to be valuable feature that is no longer available? We used this feature regularly as a method for proofing our customers and I have found that the one that is included in Bridge is sorely lacking from the Photoshop version.
Has anyone found a solution or something that works similarly that is can be customized as deeply?

Just to let you know that I followed the instructions in the PDF. Here they are sightly re-edited by me:
To retore Web Photo Gallery functionality:
Close Photoshop and use Explorer to view the extra stuff on the CS4 install DVD.
Here's what you need to copy from the Photoshop CS4 install disk and where it goes:
    1. copy "Goodies\Optional plug-ins\Plug-ins 32-bit\Automate\WebContactSheetII" plug-in
to the "Adobe Photoshop CS4/Plugins/Automate" folder
    (note there's a 64bit version in the Plug-ins 64-bit folder if that's what you're using)
in my case it goes into "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\"
    2. copy "Goodies\Presets\Web Photo Gallery" folder (the whole FOLDER)
into the "Adobe Photoshop CS4/Presets" folder
    I then have "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Web Photo Gallery\"
(This is the part that adds the default templates to choose from)
To add functionality to Bridge (xp and vista destination folders are a bit different):
    3A (for Windows XP)
copy the FOLDER "Goodies\Optional plug-ins\Bridge Startup Scripts\photoshop_web_contact_sheet" folder (the whole FOLDER)
    into "Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CS4\Adobe Photoshop\"
copy the SCRIPT file "photoshop_web_contact_sheet.jsx" from "Goodies\Optional plug-ins\Bridge Startup Scripts\"
    into "Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CS4\Adobe Photoshop\
    3B (for Vista)
copy the FOLDER "Goodies\Optional plug-ins\Bridge Startup Scripts\photoshop_web_contact_sheet" folder (the whole FOLDER)
    into "Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CS4\Adobe Photoshop/"
copy the SCRIPT file "photoshop_web_contact_sheet.jsx" from "Goodies\Optional plug-ins\Bridge Startup Scripts\"
    into "Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CS4\Adobe Photoshop\"
As you can see there's a bit of surgery to do. But if you're careful everything will work as before.
Hope this somewhat re-written 'how to" helps.

  • Using Adobe Web Photo Gallery

I have PS CS4, on a mac, and I added the Web Photo Gallery plug-in.
This works, but I cannot get PS to make a Web Photo Gallery that reflects the folder structure that I am using.
PS just dumps all images into one ore more pages, without regard to their source folder structure.
I want PS to make a home web page that contains just links to web pages that actually contain the images in the sub-folders.
I do not see an option to do that.
I have a home folder, which contains sub-folders, and those sub-folder contain the images.
Does anyone know how to do this?
    Thanks.

Most CS3 Web Photo Gallery Templates are flash free.  They use straight HTML.  Even the ones the change images automatically just use HTML to refresh the page displayed and change the page to the next image.   The Photoshop Web Gallery Template can be edited and customized to better suit your needs.    Adobe has removed Photoshop's Photo Web Galleries from newer version of Photoshop however the Feature can be installed into the newer Photoshop versions.   Adobe added an output module to the Bridge that can create Web Photo Galleries these are mostly Flash based and not easily customized like Photoshop's old Web Photo Gallery templates.
IMO there is nothing wrong with Flash Web Galleries other then mobile tablets and phone do not have flash support. I have yet to see any HTML 5 web gallery with features that match Flash Galleries.  I'm not a fan of Flash web sites or Flash games.  However there are many Flash web photo galleries that perform well and have great features.  I do not particularly want to display my images on small web phones.  If you want to see them on a tablet get a windows 8 pro tablet they should have flash support. I put large images in Web Photo galleries fitted for 1600x1200 displays and count on flash to resize them for the users browsers window.
Here is an example of a Flash web photo gallery. It contains 8 or 9 albums some with additional feature enabled.  All generated in Photoshop with a custom script. http://www.mouseprints.net/albums/
Resize your browser window see the image sizes change use the menu in the bottom of the browsers window to change album and try full screen support.  I only use Flash for Web Photo Galleries.  I'm not selling so I do not need IOS and Android support.

  • "automate web photo gallery" missing in Photoshop CS4

Just thought I upgraded from my CS2 photoshop and realize I can't automate the very practical web photo galleries anymore? I tried to transfer the added plugin from the additional "goodies" file into the photoshop automate plugins BUT a message pops up saying: "There is NO template folder to run Web Photo Gallery"
    Can anyone help??
    Thanks,

  • Transferring Windows Photoshop CS2 web photo gallery styles in Mac Photoshop CS4 web photo gallery

    Hi,
My name is JatinderPal Singh. I'm migrating from Vista to MAC and before I purchase the upgrade from Photoshop CS2 and Photoshop CS4 I need to know that can I continue to use my existing web photo gallery styles in CS4 after installing the add-on feature. Because I know web photo gallery is not default in CS4. We need to manually add this feature. I hear from other photographers that  this is a problem. Can you please confirm that this is possible

  • Photoshop CS4 - Web Photo Gallery

I just noticed I'm missing several automation features such as "Web Photo Gallery" in CS 4 and learned that now I have to install these features that I'm used to using.
However, my installation is from a web server and I do NOT have the install CD's. Is there a place I can download these "plugins" needed???
Thanks so much for the help.

Picture Package, Contact Sheet, Web Photo Gallery, and PDF Presentation have been replaced by the new Output module in Bridge CS4.  Of these the first three are in the optional download package, while PDF Presentation no longer works in CS4.
    They are available here:  http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4047
If Leona doesn't have the optional download package or the media that is her only option.
    She got it right.

  • Web Photo Gallery in PS CS4

They are recomending that you use Bridge for web galleries, but I have always liked the way PS did them.
There is a plug in called "Web Photo Gallery" included with the programme that allows you to use the old method, which I have put it in the plug in folder as instructed. However I get a message that there is no template for a web photo gallery when I try to go Automate-web gallery.
Can anyone point me as to what I am doing wrong or not doing.
    Thanks

You have to load the templates for the old method too! CS4 doesn't use them.
This is what the instructions say:
    Web Photo Gallery
The ability to create a Web Photo Gallery is now available in the Adobe Bridge CS4 OutputModule. We highly recommend creating your Web Photo Galleries this way. If you would like to continue using the legacy Web Photos Gallery plug-in (WebContactSheetII), please follow these steps:
       1. From the Photoshop CS4 install disc, drop the //<language>/Goodies/Optional plug-Ins/Automate/WebContactSheetII plug-in into the //Adobe Photoshop CS4/Plugins/Automate folder
       2. From the Photoshop CS4 install disc, drop the //<language>/Goodies/Presets/Web Photo Gallery folder into the //Adobe Photoshop CS4/Presets folder and then restart Photoshop.
Note: See below for a movie demonstrating the above steps.
Optional: To add this legacy functionality back into Bridge (as a menu item):
       1. From the Photoshop CS4 install disc, drop the //<language>/Goodies/Optional plugins/Bridge Startup Scripts/photoshop_web_contact_sheet folder and photoshop_web_contact_sheet.jsx file into following locations:
              * Mac OS: //Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts CS4/Adobe Photoshop/
              * Windows XP: //Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Startup Scripts CS4/Adobe Photoshop/
              * WindowsVista: //Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/Startup Scripts CS4/Adobe Photoshop/
       2. Restart Bridge.
There is also a instructional video on that page.

  • Web Photo Gallery in CS4

I know the Web Photo Gallery has been removed from PS CS4 and put into Bridge. However, I created a few templates I would like to keep. Is there any way besides using CS3 that I might do this in Bridge? Is there going to be a way in Bridge to create additional web modules?

    Cindy:
If you dig really deeply (10 levels down!) in your Library folder you will find the templates for the new Bridge Galleries. You can also use the Lightroom templates in Bridge CS4.
    Library/Applications Support/Adobe/Bridge CS4 Extensions/Adobe output Module/mediagallery/resources/templates/07lightroomgallery/styles
    I duplicated one of the enclosed Styles and dragged it to the Desktop;
    opened it in GoLive (because I like the way that GL displays html code although any text editor will do);
edited the code to give me the background colors, text and image frames that I wanted; and Saved the file with a new but similar name (starting with next two digits in the series and with the .xml suffix) in the same location as the original.
    And it works!
You may be able to put your existing templates in the appropriate areas.
Or, you could install the Optional Plug-ins which let you use the Photoshop/File/Automate
web galleries and put your old templates wherever you kept them for CS3.
    WARNING:
You should be perfectly safe doing this but if you screw-up CS4 and have to re-install it I accept no responsibility!!!!!!!

  • Can't open Web Photo Gallery in CS4

In my CS2 version of PS Web Photo Gallery was already installed. In CS4 it is not. I downloaded the plugin from Adobe but it won't appear when I state PS / File / automate. The address to where I placed the folder is:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)\Presets\Web Photo Gallery
Does anyone have an idea as to why I can't access it through PS4, version 11? Do I have to "turn it on" somehow in PS?
    Thanks,   Airpix

You installed the presets for the web gallery, but you also need to install the plugin:
WebContactSheet II in the plugins/automate folder
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\Automate
Make sure you install the 64 bit version of the WebContactSheet II plugin.
Added: Included in the download is a pdf file that explains the exact places
    where the different stuff goes.

  • Using CS3 Web Photo Gallery Control Panel in Bridge CS4?

I found where the styles are located in the library, and it doesn't look like the old templates will work with the new Output feature of Bridge. I want to use my old templates from CS3 that I have customized, and would like to use them with Bridge. I have installed the extra Goodies, but they will only work through Photoshop, not Bridge.
Is there a way to have Bridge>Tools>Photoshop bring up the legacy version control panel for the Web Photo Gallery?
    Thank you:)

    Hi Paul,
I'm not a Lightroom user, but the new Web Photo Galleries that come in CS4 are in Bridge. They are Lightroom templates, so there's probably not much difference. I just tried building a gallery in CS4 Bridge with 35 files, and I could not preview more than 10 either through Bridge or in a browser by pressing the preview button. The only way to preview the entire gallery before uploading was by saving the folder, then opening the index file in a browser.
Web Photo Galleries can be created in Photoshop and Bridge CS4 just like they were in previous versions of Photoshop and Bridge. You do need to configure it using the optional Goodies files since it is not part of the initial installation. It's real easy. The link I posted above has more information. Here it is again:
    http://generatex.com/cs4.html
If you do that, you'll have the best of both worlds. You'll have the option of creating web photo galleries with html templates in Bridge or Photoshop CS4, previewing them easily (regardless of size), and have the option of using the new Lightroom flash templates in Bridge CS4.

  • CS4 problem with Web Photo Gallery Plug-in

I have googled answers to the question of how to get Web Photo Gallery back into Automate for CS4. I put the Content disc in, and went to Goodies-Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended-Optional Plug-ins-Automate. There are three files there (ContactSheetll.plugin, PhotomergeUI.plugin, and WebContactSheetll.plugin. When I click on each of the files, I get the message: Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file. This has happened with both the content disc goodies and the Adobe download that was recommended. Has anyone experienced this problem, and are there any solutions?

If anyone is still following this thread....I having the same problem. I downloaded the CS4 plugin and copied the folder to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)\Presets\Web Photo Gallery but it doesn't show / appear when I go to file / automate / in CS4. Does anyone have any siggestions? Do I have to "turn on" the feature somehow in ver 11?
    Thanks,  Airpix
