bonjour, j'ai un souci avec photoshop CS5, erreur de programe a chaque manipulation!
Hier j'ai téléchargé indesign en version d'évaluation, cloud s'est installé, ensuite indesign qui ne s'est pas installé correctement....j'ai fini par tout désinstallé et depuis je suis bloqué avec mon photoshop

Nobody can help you without system information or otehr details. Run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, reinstall your CS5. for anything else we need much more information.

I have just tried several times to open up Photoshop CS5 version on my Mac, but keep getting a request to install legacy Java SE 6 runtime, which I have now done
but every time I try to open photoshop again the same message keeps coming up and still the programme will not open

If you didn't have the opportunity to deactivate the installations then you should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations for all the serial numbers involved.

Same here. I've never had trouble with this function before.
It opens the Photoshop application with all the menus/windows, but it never opens the actual image I chose to work on.
I'm on a Mac, using OS X Yosemite, 10.10.1 Lightroom is version 5.7 Photoshop is CS5, version 12.0.4
FWIW, I also can't automate>Photomerge ... . Makes me think Photoshop, not Lightroom, is all wacky. I tried dumping PS preferences

             I'm not sure I have the answers to all your questions. Although I use Photoshop and Lightroom extensively, I'm not a 'techy'.
My system;
Packard bell imedia S2885
1TB hard drive
500G RAM
Windows 8.1   64- bit
Intel core i5 4440
If I open Photoshop cc14 without opening any image, I still get an error message that reads: 'Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled enhancements which use the graphics hardware'.
There is also a link to the Adobe help site, but I'm not sure exactly what I should be downloading from there.

Hi DanielDL,
Please open the finder window click on go and choose go to folder and type /library and press enter.
Navigate to Application Support/Adobe/color and rename the folder settings to settings.old
Then try to launch Photoshop and check if the issue persists.

Seul Lightroom fonctionne, pour photoshop, impossible de l'ouvrir et le message "impossible d'initialiser photoshop en raison d'une erreur du programme" apparait.
Je suis MAC OS X 10.9.3

If you are connecting to the server via SMB, use CIFS instead. That's a well known issue in MacOS 10.9.

Unable to Launch Photoshop CS5 (64-bit), Related to Adobe Application Manager

i am at my wits end. any help provided will be greatly appreciated.
i installed photoshop cs5 (i run windows 7 64-bit) normally after uninstalling my cs4 normally (no clean installation or whatnot) and this time i chose to exclude the 32 bit version since i wouldn't require it.
upon installation i try to launch the programme and it says that the Adobe Application Manager is required to start it, so i do a quick google and i download the Application Manager. now here's the problem.
when i try to launch the installation for the app manager all i get is a loading bar with installation initializing. this bar goes to completion but after that it just shuts on me and nothing else happens.
i have tried:
1) restarting (obviously)
2) extracting the installer to a different location
3) trying to run the clean installation procedure, but this results in further problems:
the clean install package came with instructions to install a installer cleanup utility provided by windows which is no longer being provided because of certain risks. having found that program somewhere else on the internet anyway i start it up and it gives me an error saying it can't find msizap.exe and fails to install anyway. i hence end up not having used the cleanup system at all.
solutions to either problem, the former especially will be greatly appreciated.

edit: reinstalling both 32 and 64 bit editions together results in 32 bit working and 64 bit still requiring the application manager. for the life of me i don't see why one requires it and the other doesn't.

I understand that you did not choose to put Photoshop 32 bit in C:, it just went there on its own.

Adobe software is known to work better when installed on C:. I think you may be experiencing that first-hand here.
Why have you partitioned your system this way? I'm curious, what do you believe you have optimized by doing this? In my experience, partitioning your system as you have done will net you more problems than performance. Even outside of applications you install, Windows itself will continue to expand over time (search for winsxs, for example, and of course there are Windows Updates and Service Packs).
I could see perhaps using a single super-fast limited C: physical drive, with programs and other files on another physical drive with a separate controller, improving performance - but I don't believe there's any way a drive that's been partitioned as you have described is going to help performance. And you should know that Microsoft has done many things (e.g., SuperFetch) to optimize performance when set up in a more typical fashion (on one big C: partition).

Photoshop CS5.1 ne veux pas s'ajouter dans la liste "ouvrir avec"

Depuis l'upgrade de phtoshop CS5 (64bit) à CS5.1 (64bit) sous Windows 7, avec ensuite désinstallation du CS5 une fois assuré que ça tournai bien (il parait que ça n'est pas une chose a faire dans cette ordre, mais je ne savais pas), mes .psd n'ont plus l'icone bleu spécifique avec écrit .PSD dessus, mais juste un rectangle blanc.De plus je ne peux pas associé photoshop.exe a ce format de fichier car il refuse de s'ajouter à la liste "ouvrir avec".
Je suis sous un compte utilisateur standard et ces problèmes ne se présnte pas lorsque je me log en admin.
Ce que j'ai essayé (j'install toujours photoshop sans faire "éxécuter ce programme en tant qu'administrateur"):
-double cliquer sur le psd pour ouvrir le fenêtre "ouvrir avec", coché (ou non) "toujours ouvrir avec ce programme", mais photoshop refuse de s'ajouter a cette liste.
-désinstaller CS5.1, ré-installé CS5 pour le désintallé a nouveau proprement options cochés "préférences" pour etre sur de désinstallé un maximum, ré-installer CS5.1.Toujours pareil
-en utilisateur standard, ouverture d'un explorer en mode admin pour éspérer que photoshop.exe (qui se trouve dans C:/programmes/Adobe/adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64bit)/Photoshop.exe) veuille bien s'ajouté a la liste "ouvrir avec".Echec
-tentatives avec le photoshop du mode x86.Echec
-utilisation d'un logiciel gratuit "OpenWithView" qui avait fontionné pour d'autre, et recherche d'une entrée de la base de registre qui listerai l'ancien photoshop.Echec, c'est bien le bon et même désactivé ça ne fontionne pas....
J'ai éssayé pas mal de truc mais rien n'y fait et c'est irritant de voir ce carré blanc et de devoir ouvrir photoshop pour pouvoir y glisser le psd au lieu d'un simple clic.
De plus il semble que se problème existe depuis longtemps, comment se fait il que adobe (ou windows je ne sais pas qui est fautif) ne sois pas encore résolu j'ai vu des gens sous CS3 ou CS2 qui avaient déjà ce problème et n'ont semble-t-il pas trouvé de solution.

Pour ne pas surcharger je n'ai pas précisé que j'avais déjà regardé là bas.
dans "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe\shell\edit\command" et "....open\command" j'ai:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1",
Ce qui correspond bien a la bonne version.J'avais même essayé sans espoir de renommer "Program Files" en "Programmes" mais ça n'a pas marcher, même si je n'ai pas redémarrer pour voir, présummant que ça aurait agit instantanément.
Et pour la ré-installation oui j'ai essayé plein de fois dans tout les sens, c'est ce que j'ai essayé de démontré dans ma première liste.Je ne vois pas comment désinstallé plus a part avec un utilitaire spécialisé mais ça va encore être long.J'essayerai peut être ce soir.La quantité de temps passé sur ce problème me semble démesurée pour simplement avoir la bonne icône et le bon programme associé...

I am trying to down load Adobe Photoshop CS5.1

I finally found where the file was located to officially download the programme on my computer. It asked my to log on with my Adobe account and punch in the serial code, I did both. However, when I finish with the varifying and click download, it only tells me to try again. That 'We are unable to start your subsription for Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 extended subscription edition' also on the bottom of that in smaller font read 'Please choose Close and then re-launch your product. You will be prompted to start your subscription once you launch the product'. I've tried to restart the download over 10 times, I reopened Adobe Download Assitant but it didn't help me with my problem and wouldn't let me re-download Adobe Photoshop CS5.1. Only that they had products that I may like that I could download. So I consulted with Adobe's customer support, but the Photoshop support centre tag as I clicked on it brought me to a page that read:
Not Found
The requested URL /photoshop.html was not found on this server.
So please help, all I want is my Photoshop CS5! I don't believe I've done anything wrong with the downloading process and this whole problem is really frustrating me.

Simply call support again and/or talk to them in the web chat. Nobody here can do anything in these matters. The website being unavialble could be a temporary thing. Happens.
