Photoshop CS5 saving multiple images

Trying to save multiple images to a different destination folder of my choosing after editing?

Sorry for being so vague. Automated actions or scripts is something that I would like to do but right now what I'm trying to do is.  I open multiple pictures from their original folder (lets say 11 images). After making editing changes I would like to save the changes to all 11 pictures to a completely different folder of my choosing all at one time.
Open from dcim5100 folder - edit - save to snap family folder

I have Photoshop CS5 and my image processor and batch tool are gone. How do I get them back?
I went into edit preference and all the start up scrips are selected so what else is there?

When you installed CS5, you have a chance to register it. If you do, your serial number is on file under your Adobe (My Products). If you did not, you have no serial number on file and even worse, no proof you own it.
You do not have your serial number copied down anywhere? Hard to believe you tossed the dvd box and all the documents away.
So Help > Register might give you a chance to do this without you knowing the number.
If not, you may want to consider the Photography Plan. Creative Cloud Photography plan | Adobe Creative Cloud

  • How can I update Camera raw for Photoshop CS5 to access images from Canon Rebel T4i?

How can I update Camera Raw for Photoshop CS5 to access images from Canon Rebel T4i? The updated version of Camera Raw 7 says it only works with CS6. Outside of buying a new Photoshop, is there anything I can do?

Buy Lightroom (much cheaper alternative to Photoshop) - does all your 'Photo-related' tasks. Full version of LightRoom 4 is $149/- - http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom.html
LightRoom 4 supports ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) 7. Once processed with Lightroom, if you still need, you could take the photo in JPG or TIFF format into Photoshop CS5 for further processing.
Another option is to use Canon Raw Codec that would've come with your camera's box to process the RAW images and then take them into Photoshop.

  • Saving multiple images while in bridge after editing in CR

I have a question involving saving multiple images while in Bridge after they were edited in camera raw PS CS4.  I usually view my images in Bridge and select the ones I want to edit in camera raw.  I then open the images in camera raw and make the edits which I want to the first image of the group.  I then click on the select all button on the top left corner.  I then click on the sychronize button and choose the edits from CR which I want to carry through the whole group of images.  I then click on the save images button on the bottom left of the CR page.  This now brings me back to bridge where I'm looking at the images in their edited version.
This is where the question begins.  At this point, I thought the edited made in CR were saved to the images folder located on my computer.  But up to this point when Ive gone back to the image folder and looked at the images they were still in their original unedited state although the edited versions showed up in Bridge.
At the point, where I am looking at the edited photos in bridge, do I have to go through another step to save the edited images in Bridge so they will transfer over to the image folder where the images are stored in my computer?

I was looking for the metdata in another window.  Ok . I found it and HQ thumbs was checked already.  I can see the edits from CR in the Bridge window.
After I check save image in CR, does the edited info get saved only to Bridge or should that be saved all the way to my image folder?
The problem is that when I exist Bridge and look in the image folder the changes I made in CR are not there.  How do I get those changes from CR saved to my computer (my pictures)?

  • Photoshop CS5, saving files

I upgraded to Photoshop CS5 and am having an intermittent problem. About 60% of the time when I am working on a file and use "ControlS" to save the file, it will not work. I have to click in the window first, then the save "ControlS will work." The same thing happens on occasion when trying to run an action from a shortcut! Very, very annoying. Acutally, I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 just for this reason thinking it would correct the problem, but it didn't.
Is anyone having this problem and does anyone have a solution?

This is the boilerplate text often used in connection to saving to a network (please NOTE the part where it explains that normally, it does work, but that it is impossible to troubleshoot someone else's network remotely, and that's why it's not supported by Adobe):
If you are opening files over a network or saving them to a network server, please cease and desist immediately in the event you are currently experiencing problems with one or more files. Working across a network is not supported.
    See:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/406/kb406793.html
Copy the CLOSED file from your server to your local hard disk, work on it, save it again to your local hard disk, close it, and copy the closed file back to the server.
Of course, the fact that Adobe does not support working across a network does not necessarily mean it won't work.   It should.
Adobe's position is that there are too many variables in a network environment for them to guarantee that everything will work correctly in every network, especially given the fact that if something does not work properly, it's probably the network's fault, and Adobe has no way of troubleshooting your network.
If you can't work locally, you are on your own, and if something happens, you're on your own. If you must work from a server, make sure your network administrator is a competent professional.
When problems arise, a lot of valuable work can be lost.

  • Trouble with Photoshop CS5.1 eps images with clipping path placed in FHMX

Photoshop CS5 eps files, clearcut with clipping paths now show a black box instead of a transparent background when placing in Freehand MX.
Tiff files with clipping paths work OK but look ugly and make Freehand redraw the screen all the time, thus slowing down my work.
The eps file placed in InDesign CS5.5 is OK
Anybody knows a work-around? I', doing most of my work in Freehand

  • Photoshop CS5.1 Multiple Brush Preset Import

    Hi there,
I assumed that simply copying my brushes to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1\Presets\Brushes would mean that these files would now be available to me. However, this is not working for me. Am I copying my brushes to the incorrect location? When I open up the Brush chooser panel, only the default brush sets are available.
Now, I can add brushes in the preset manager, but this only lets me add one set at a time and does not organize them for me into sets. There must be a better way to do this.
    I'm on Win7 btw.
    Thanks.

Copying them to the presets folder means they are available to load, it doesn't mean that they'll all get loaded at once!
Just use the menu on any of the brush pickers, the preset manager, or the brushes palette to load those files.

  • Saving multiple images from

Are there any updated functions or apps that would allow you to save multiple images from a text message to camera roll from iphone? If not, what are the best alternatives these days?

Some apps, like Mail allow you to do this but others do not. Tap on photo and a list of choices comes up. In Mail one of the choices is to Save X Photos where X equals the number of photos in the email. I've never received more than one photo in a text so I'm not sure if this same choice will appear there.

  • Photoshop CS5 Saving Issues

    Hey,
So I have a drawing that I drew up in CS5.  In this drawing, the layers that I am trying to save as a .jpeg file are without a background color.  I am experiencing a problem where when I go to save the image as a .jpeg (or any file type), for some reason photoshop throws in a white background after the save which is not wanted and not part of the image.  I just want it to save my image with no background color.  I have been able to do this before without having this problem, so I have no clue what could be going on.  If it helps, I can upload the .jpeg file.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Saving a jpeg is like saving a flattened file, so the jpeg format doesn't support transparency.
You can save the file to a format that does support transparency such as psd, tiff or png.
For use on the web png works well.

  • Photoshop CS5: Saving as a layered PDF- is this possible?

I thought it was, but apparently it isn't... am I missing something?
    Thanks for any help!

Do you have the option selected to SAVE LAYERS when saving as a Photoshop PDF?
Use the Photoshop Save/Save As dialog, don't try printing to PDF or any other method which won''t give you the layer option.

  • Saving multiple images at one time to a different folder

Is there a script available that can save multiple pictures upon completion of editing to a different output folder of my choice other than the source folder all at the same time? Example I open 11 different photos from source folder x, I edit said 11 pictures and now want to save all 11 pictures to output folder xy all at the same time.  What I want to prevent is having to click save as select new folder for each and every picture I have open.

    Does this help?

  • Photoshop CS5 for Windows - Image resize/shadow detail

    Hi
I have a problem I am experiencing more often that I could do with some help on.
My problem is that, if I reduce a photograph in size, the shadow details becomes distorted. The distortion when viewed at 100% looks like a feint grid hatching effect.
My workflow consists of Adobe lightroom - I shot in RAW, then prep in Lightroom. Then I use photoshop if I need to do some additional work on the photo.
Its very odd. I can reproduce the problem in photoshop as soon as its opened from lightroom. Meaning - I havent applied anything in photoshop like adjustment layers or filters.
Can anyone offer a steer on this, or has anyone come across this before? I can post an example of this when I get home (I am at work at the moment)
I was hoping someone else may have come across this issue and perhaps offer a workaround.
I am patched uptodate with all available patches.
    Thanks in Advance
    Neil Kendall

Oh, that's possible. I went and read the detailed specs for my computer and it seems like it has both Intel and NVIDIA. Could that be it? (Computer hardware issues are not my area of expertise.)
