Photoshop CS6 64bit doesn't open. I have the creative cloud, worked fine before updating?

Any other possible solutions? I've tried googling for answers and every thread has suggestions that I've tried:
updated graphics and printer drivers, update Windows 7, reset preferences, rename plugin folder temporarily to see if that's the problem but I still can't fix it, the original posters of the threads never post what solved it (if it ever was)

The weird thing is the other 64 bit Adobe stuff works fine, hopefully Adobe can fix whatever cause it

    It's not launched from the CC app.
    If you have Windows, look under Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CC
    If you have a Mac, look in the Application Folder > Photoshop CC

  • Can I update my CS6 programs if I don't have the creative cloud?

    I recently bought the Standard Adobe Creative Suite CS6 as a downloadable program and was wondering if I can update this somehow even though I do not have the Adobe Creative Cloud.  I am a student and need the Adobe Indesign CC version for class and would really like to just update my existing CS6 version rather than subscribe to Creative Cloud or buy a whole new program.  I have the Adobe Applications Manager Executive Edition as well but have no idea if I can actually update my programs with it or what it just does in general. 
    Very Confused, Please Help.

    There is no such thing. You have a fundamental misunderstanding. CC is the cloud and there is no way to get access other than with a subscription.

    It really depends on which subscription plan you are signed up to.  Normally whichever programs are available thru your subscription are listed for you to install in the CC desktop manager application.  If you do not see certain programs listed it might be because your machine does not meet the system requirements for them... that is normally what happens with the manager.

    Adobe Creative cloud applications do not have any serial numbers. They are activated through your adobe id.

    I reset modem and router.  Still have the same issue.  I have a laptop connected to the network as well as a PS3.  Both are working great.  Did a Speedtest app test on iphone.  With 3g it was working good.  When i switched to wifi, it was trying to get the ping test accomplished, and could not.  it was stuck in the ping test at 0% for a long time and never progress.

    I am having a similar problem. Running Xp.
    Latest revision of firefox.
    After using firefox for a while if I exit, parent.lock is locked and i have to reboot to reload firefox.
    I have killed all firefox applications from task manager (usually there are none). and I have tried 3 different "file unlock" programs including unlocker to no avail.
    I also recently installed a program that shows -all- open files, and parent.lock is not listed, and thus not closable/unlockable from there.

    first, close your cc desktop app.
    then, rename the opm.db file by:
        navigate to the OOBE folder.
            Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
            Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
        and rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db, eg
    finally, launch your cc desktop app.

    That should not be an issue.  If you are using creative cloud, you can install the apps on your primary computer and one backup computer. You will have access to both the Mac OS and Windows versions, so if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, for example, you can install your applications on both.   • Problem Viewing and Opening Files from the Creative Cloud

    I am using Photoshop Touch v1.7.5 on an iPad4.
    When I try to open an existing file from the creative cloud not all of my files and folders are displayed. My list of folders appear alphabetically and stop at those starting with the letter L. Therefore I cannot open all of my files that have previously been uploaded to the cloud.
    Is this a bug or am I missing something here?
    If it's a bug, is Adobe working on it?
    When can we expect an update?

    I Had concerns about this problem back in November.
    It is apparently a bug. Since Adobe has no customer support for the Photoshop Touch app, those of us who primarily make use of the creative cloud and the app are paying for a service that at the moment doesn't completely work.
    It is very frustrating that customers paying for a creative clould account and using the photoshop touch app have only this forum as a source of customer support. As a result, you can't depend on receiving information from someone who is actually an Adobe employee.
    I hope that Adobe is working to fix this problem. However, we don't really know if or when that may happen because of the lack of information that is supplied.

    I have a membership to Adobe and have access to all the CC programs through the Icon "Adobe Application Manager". But I do not have a Creative Cloud icon in my applications? I also cannot sync fonts from Typekit as it says "Desktop font sync is not available on this operating system or device". When I click on the "learn more" it says the program only runs on "OS X 10.7 and higher", even though my computer is up to date. I can access all my creative cloud programs,  Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign etc... Which confuses me as to why it is saying I cannot sync fonts as Typekit/Creative Cloud will not operate on any systerm lower then OS X 10.7..
